Everything is packaged to go so can take home if you don't finish eating there. Don't forget to carefully bite a little bit into the soup dumplings first so the soup inside doesn't squirt out all over you. Good to remember if it's your first time trying soup dumplings. We tried the highly reviewed rainbow soup dumplings, and I have to say I haven't had good soup dumplings since Bangkok, but these come very close. I really enjoyed getting to taste all six flavors. My favorite was the pork and truffle one. Delicious! The dipping sauce was good, too. I also ordered pork chops and fried dough in addition to a couple more rainbow dumplings to go! Definitely going back.

Nan Xiang was so successful they opened a giant new spot across the street from their original location a few years ago. I was very surprised to see a branch of Nan Xiang here in the burbs of MD but hopeful we'd get the same experience. First off, it's not a sit down fill service restaurant which is fine. Order at the kiosk and get your food in to-go containers...quickly and efficiently. As for the food, it was a bit disappointing especially compared to the experience at the Flushing flagship. It's not bad...but just different. The rice cakes with pork were probably the best of what we had but on the oily side. The Pork Chops over rice had a soy sauce based seasoning and no real breading and no sour mustard greens which usually comes with this dish at other restaurants. The Beef Noodle Soup was just mediocre as well. Lastly the Scallion Pancakes are a bit on the fluffy/floury side so just different as well. Overall I'd give them a try if you've never had this type of Chinese food...just know that there is a better version of this place in Flushing if you are ever visiting the city.

The place is fantastic in many ways--the location, the accommodation, and especially the food,…read morewhich is scrumptious and in generous portions. Having grown up with peanut oil, which enhances flavor, it is available upon request, which I always do. Asian Court Restaurant is within walking distance of a supermarket and other shops, which is conducive to one-stop shopping. And most of the patio is always in the shade for outdoor dining on sunny days. If I lived closer, I would eat there at least once everyday. I've also tried the Owings Mills location, which is second only because there is not outdoor dining available.

We had a 7:00 PM reservation for seven -- planned largely around my son's birthday request and his love of Dim Sum. Unfortunately, Dim Sum isn't available on Tuesday nights, which was a minor disappointment since our previous Sunday visit gave us the full Dim Sum experience. We shifted to ordering family-style and were genuinely pleased with the meal. The Moo Shu Pork, Peking Duck, Chicken Fried Rice, Mápó Dòufu, and Bok Choy were all flavorful and well-prepared. Everything came with won ton soup and tea, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. The atmosphere feels authentic and comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout the evening. The manager tried to steer us toward several suggested dishes -- it was a bit unclear whether this was purely helpful guidance or an effort to highlight readily available items -- but we appreciated the input and did enjoy the bok choy recommendation. Pricing was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, despite the Dim Sum surprise, it was an enjoyable and satisfying dinner. We would absolutely return -- just on a weekend next time for Dim Sum.

This is primarily due to the owner / chef retiring. This restaurant is a wonderful place for dim sum on weekends. However, they do serve dim sum (without the carts) everyday so if you want your dim sum fix on during the weekday, this place is the way to go. Their shrimp and pork dumplings are delicious. Their shrimp crepe, chicken feet, fried taro dumpling, rice wrapped w/ leaves are also really good. Be sure to ask for hot oil on the side so you can spice out your dishes if you want. It's sad to see this restaurant go. They are really a wonderful local business that has been around for over 10 years. The staff here are always friendly and their dishes never disappoint. If you are in the area before they close on 1/1/25, be sure to support your local Gourmet Inspiration. Great family owned restaurant that never disappoints. Come hungry and leave satisfied with their yummy cuisine.

I would say that it was a little gamy. I would suggest ordering something else, the beef chow food with Chinese broccoli was excellent. The meat was good quality the Chinese broccoli was perfectly prepared. The wonton soup was good. from the dim son we ordered sticky rice with chicken in a lotus leaf. It was good once you added soy sauce and a little hot sauce or spices. there were other items that came out for dim sun I would've liked to try but they came much later in our meal and we were done. We also ordered Vietnamese eggrolls that were flavorful and the string beans with tofu. The prices are very reasonable the staff were very nice. The place became crowded by the time we left And I have to say it was clean that is a big plus.
