Just moved around the area and wanted to get some pho due to the rain. Stumbled across this place and absolutely loved it from the food to the service. The server was attentive and it felt very homey! Would definitely be coming back again. Also the spring rolls were one of the best I've ever had!!

Pho Trin in Pomona has officially become one of our go-to spots--this was our second time here, and it just keeps getting better! My husband ordered the large combination pho with no onions, while I opted for the large pho with rare steak and brisket. Both came with the amazing bonus of free extra noodles--an awesome deal, especially with prices these days. The broth was rich, flavorful, and served piping hot, transporting us straight to the streets of Vietnam. It's everything I imagine an authentic bowl of pho from Nam Dinh province would taste like. We also couldn't resist ordering the appetizer combination platter, which includes fresh rolls, spring rolls, and rocket shrimp, paired with three tasty dipping sauces. The rocket shrimp was crispy and perfectly cooked, while the spring rolls were incredibly fresh. It's the perfect starter to share, and every bite was delicious. The plate of veggies that came with our pho was as fresh as could be--crisp bean sprouts, fragrant Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime that added a perfect balance to the rich broth. You can tell everything here is made with care and attention to quality. One of the things that really stands out about Pho Trin is the family-run, mom-and-pop feel. The owners are so kind and make you feel right at home. The young lady who served us was attentive and made sure our food came out quickly, got us water right away, and checked in multiple times to ensure we were happy. But what truly made our visit memorable was when the chef himself came out to serve us--such a personal touch that you just don't get at bigger chain restaurants. As we were leaving, the chef even gifted us a small bag of fried veggies to go--what a nice, unexpected gesture that perfectly capped off our meal! On top of that, they even went out of their way to turn on Tinkerbell for our little one on the TV. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made the entire dining experience so much more enjoyable for the whole family. The ambiance of Pho Trin definitely reflects a true hole-in-the-wall, authentic experience. It's clean and cozy, though a little dated in décor, which adds to its charm. It feels like you've stumbled upon a hidden gem where the focus is all about great food and personal service, rather than keeping up with the latest trends. It's clear that Pho Trin could use a little more foot traffic, and we're more than happy to help spread the word. This place deserves to be packed every night. The prices are super reasonable, especially with the free extra noodles, and the portions are generous. The food is always amazing, and the service is warm and welcoming. We love supporting small local businesses, and Pho Trin is a perfect example of why. If you're looking for authentic pho and a true hole-in-the-wall gem, Pho Trin is the place to be. We will definitely be back and hope to see this place bustling with even more happy customers!

I was in the area and I was really craving some Viet food and stumbled across this little gem! The moment I stepped in I was politely greeted by owner, Trinity and her sister and they suggested I ordered the special combination rice plate which came with a fried egg, sausage, your choice of grilled meat (I chose pork), and some fish sauce. Everything came out in such a timely matter and they were so attentive and made sure my boyfriend's water was always full because he drinks a lot! They also were playing kpop on the tv, which was a plus for me because i've been really into New Jeans lately. Definitely will be returning!

My husband and I were in town this weekend for a funeral and we're craving Vietnamese food afterwards, so we decided to stop by Pho Trin for lunch. They were really busy since it was lunch time, and we were welcomed in with a smile and friendly greeting from one of the waiters. Got seated quickly. I ordered the phở đặc biệt and my husband had the com ga roti. The meat in the phở đặc biệt was excellent. My favorite part was the broth. You should definitely try the spicy broth! It's delicious and incredibly genius! As for the com ga roti, my husband said it's the best he ever had (he's a harsh critic)! We're definitely coming back here in the future and bringing some friends with us!! One of the best pho I've ever had, hands down

I am very disappointed with the spicy pho, I asked for mild but it was extremely hot. I called to asked if they maybe added regular chili and they said no. I love spicy food but this is way too spicy. I do not recommend the spicy pho. My review is only about the spicy pho. read more

So I ordered the pho dac biet and it was 10/10. My wife and I went in the morning at around 10:30 and it was empty. The owners were very friendly and showed hospitality. We both love to support local businesses and I would recommend this place to anyone who's nearby and craving pho. read more

The sign caught my eye from the street. Looks like fairly new place. Interior was very modest & humble like the male owner's personality. He had nice friendly warm smile and service. We order small but the portions were very modest w/ lots of quality meats. Soups authentic taste & very Hot & flavorful not Luke warm like some places, just the way I like it! Everything here is delicious. I will drive out of my to eat here, because it's that good. The service is friendly and quick and the restaurant is clean. In my opinion, they have the best milk tea around, not too sweet, but just right. Every dish I've tried has been delicious. The price point is also great. I totally recommend. read more

Ordered take out earlier today and everything was delicious! Pho broth was delicious plus I love the way they gave lots of noodles and veggies to put in my soup (great portions), tofu spring rolls were great as well as their veggie egg rolls! Visit on 7.26.22 Food was made fresh to order. The gentleman who greeted us was very kind. He was the only one working!! Wish I got his name, but service was amazing!!! We had three children all under the age of 4 and they were loud, but he was so friendly and nice to them. He even gave us two bananas for the children and lollipops. I would recommend and visit again. The portion size were huge too and most places skimp on the noodles, but here he didn't. Thank you for the amazing experience mister. read more

I came to SoCal for a little vacation. I stumbled upon this place because my friends and I wanted some soup before heading back to NorCal. Food: 5/5 it was one of the best pho that I've had! Broth was flavorful, noodles were a good texture, and the portions were HUGE for the price we paid. Service: 5/5 my group had 7 people in total. We came right when it opened and the owner/staff (a man and woman) were so kind and helpful! I can not express how much I appreciated them checking in on us to make sure the food was good, refilling our waters, and checking if we needed anything else. Bonus: the man (who I assume is the owner) was the absolute best! After checking in on us, he left to the kitchen and came back to our table with FREE dessert, which was pandan waffle. This hit pretty close to home, as I used to enjoy this dessert as a child! I was so happy and surprised that he went out of his way to cook us dessert, even though we didn't order any dessert. Overall I had a great experience! Service is impeccable, food is great, and the owner is sooo sweet. Please come support this restaurant if you can! read more

Such a cute family business. Although they are short staffed & busy, they're able to still greet us with a lot of positivity. The food really seems to give a homemade feeling which I love because it's more authentic. The beef stew and the spicy pho is definitely my favorite hands down! This pho was amazing ! Broth was really flavorful and the customer service was top tier. It was a single person which i'm assuming was the owner. He even cooked and prepared everything which shows how much he loves his restaurant and hard working this man is. I just ordered pho Tai chin. It was a perfect size for 10$ The broth was actually extra tasty, on the sweeter side. Reminds me of Pho Lotus(no msg) in Chino. It's sweet and the aroma is different than say like pho ha on Indian Hill in Pomona. They gave me a lot of greens unlike everyone else they barely give you any. I was actually able to taste the cilantro and green onions. You won't be let down! read more

The shopping center isn't the best looking but the food here and customer service is excellent! Tom is so nice and helpful on choosing new items on the menu to try. Based on most people praising for their grill pork sandwich, today I stopped by to give it a try. I was greeted by Phuc , he is very friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes when I inquired about the sandwiches. I ordered to go Grill Pork Sandwich. The is not baguette, French rolls maybe but much better than other places . The bread is warm & crunchy when delivered and best of all grill pork smelled the charcoal and very flavored. Only downside is the meat not much for $4.35 including tax. I'm very surprised , how tasteful it is. I'm so happy to discover this place for my Vietnamese sandwiches closed to home. I will come back and will try "Bun thit nuong cha gio" "Vermicelli with Grill pork & egg rolls " recommended by Phuc. . 8/25/2019 As promised, I brought my friend back for dinner on 8/23/19. We ordered "Vermicelli noddles with grill pork & eggs rolls " and again "Grill Pork sandwich ". My friend enjoyed the foods very much, especially the fish sauce for Vermicelli noodles dish , so so yummy. Thanks to the chefs for making delicious foods. Of course , we were greeted by "Phuc" aka "Tom" , he's welcome us with a warm big smile & great services as always. We will come back and will try all the delicious dishes strongly recommend by Tom. Love their Pho! Best for when your sick with flu or a cold. It's our new place we get lunch at our job. Their were a few of us that were feeling sick and it was a cold day so we looked them up on Yelp and we love this place. Worst experience ever! I only went here because my usual was closed due to COVID 19 & just never again the pho is wayyyyy to gingery all you taste is the ginger & just not eatable at all. Update to my review, I went back for my refund as they said they would give me a full refund & I have the entire conversation recorded where he said it himself. Now he's saying he can't give me my refund because I left a Yelp review...hmmmm well I thought that this is what Yelp is for. For me to express my review and this was my experience with them. He told me he has the right to refuse service but I think he forgot that I clearly didn't appreciate your service if I came back to get my money which HE SAID HE WAS GONNA GIVE BACK TO ME. Idk maybe I need to get someone higher up to discuss with the establishment about their customer service because it's clear they lack it. ‍ read more

Pho 888 is one of the best Vietnamese place I've ever been to. It's not a very fancy one but everything is really good. The appetizers, sandwich, Pho, Fried Rice, and rice meals are all great! Some of my favorites are the Shrimp Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Fillet Mignon, Beef Stew with egg noodles, and Spicy seafood noodles. A very affordable yet delicious way to satisfy your hunger. Plus all of the staff are nice, approachable, and will always greet you with a smile. They treat customers as family. Pho 888 is a MUST TRY with a two thumbs up! You will never regret eating there. The pho in this places is the best one I have tried from sooo many places in sooo many cities! The spicy seafood pho is just perfect! Don't even need to add anything to the broth because it's just that good!! And the service here! I love it! The guy is super nice and sweet I swear I come more for his customer service than the food lol it is really delicious I recommend 100% especially the spicy seafood. Usually I only get shrimp and level 2 because it's spicy! Everyone needs to try it! Kid u not it's the perfect remedy for a hangover too read more

It's a family tradition to stop by here before we continue on our road trip to Las Vegas. Been doing that every since I was a kid and up until adulthood until my parents decided it was better if they just went on vacation on their own without me and my brother. I believe they got big enough to absorb the restaurant right next door. Service is as with most other Asian places. They're there, you get food, and that's that. Sometimes by the fact of just being Vietnamese you can converse with other Viets, but they don't push it here. Perfect, casual ambiance. But can get busy for the lunch rush, at least when we visited. As always, I get the Pho Tai, my go to for every pho place. Super flavorful and full tasting broth, decently tender enough meat with a normal amount (not too generous, but not skimping out either). Noodles had the perfect texture. You get all of the veggies and other toppings quite generously as well. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but for the times I visited it hit the spot.

Great food. We should have tipped more sorry to show we really appreciate the food. I ordered the pho combination. I noticed the noodles was al dente and the broth was very subtle but flavorful. I quite enjoyed it! Not like other pho places where their noodles are soggy and the broth was overly salty and laced with msg. My husband ordered the bun vermicelli. He also enjoyed it as well. I think this place deserves 5 starts but just giving 4 stars because sometimes they don't open on time. It has been about 5 to 20 minutes, so I just go about 30 minutes after to give them time to settle in.
