#17. Steak, Brisket, Flank, Tendon, and Tripe Large size

Just moved to white center and am on the lookout for a go-to pho spot. Decided to try this spot first and boy was I disappointed. There is no "all meat cuts" combo. The restaurant was not busy but my pho took longer to come out than expected. I was not given a single napkin and there were none on the table. Additionally, I had to grab the condiments myself from another table as mine did not have any. The lady at the register was not the nicest or attentive. The pho broth itself just tasted salty and lacked the aroma of spices. I will say, the steak/brisket/flank meat was fresh and soft. That was the only highlight of this meal. The tendon had a very weird fatty aftertaste to it and I usually love tendon. Don't think I will be returning.

Haven't been here in years but the pho broth was so good when I went. Quick service. Probably wouldn't ordered the Vietnamese coffee if I knew it was the bagged one but really good pho. The lady working was very nice. I thought she was Vietnamese so I was ordering in Vietnamese. She is not lmaoo. I usually just get steak and tripe but I ordered #15 which came with steak, tripe, flank and tendon. Ugh so good.

in-dining bowl of pho totally hit the spot on a 41 degree day. Stopped by with 2 other friends. The store is totally respectful of COVID protocols. Order first at the cashier and then find a table. I order the #5 - Steak and Flank Noodle Soup. The broth was deep and had a subtle sweetness. Noodle were just right and loose (not all bunched up). Siracha was available at the table. Unexpected for a random shop on the corner, but I could tell that repeat customers drive for miles to come here.

If I were to show you my Uber Eats past orders, we would embarrassingly be on here... a lot. Like we order from them twice a month, easily. We've loved almost everything on the menu, but really enjoyed the rice, pot stickers, and BBQ pork sandwich. The rice is so filling it usually takes me 2 days to eat, which is awesome for leftovers. Worth the price!

Amazing pho, even better Vietnamese coffee. We just moved to the area and this will be my new go-to.

You can mess up pho. I think I left a SALT LICK behind me after I ate there. Skip the spring rolls too, they just taste wrong.

My girlfriend and I stopped in before a flight, which in hindsight was a mistake. We ordered around 12:30 PM (niku beef udon, garlic pork udon, and chicken karaage), and it took nearly an hour to receive everything. The karaage came out first after about 40 minutes, then one udon about 10 minutes later, and the final dish close to an hour after ordering. Because of this, we weren't able to eat together unless one of us let our food go cold. On top of that, the restaurant itself was uncomfortably cold, which made the long wait feel even worse. It also seemed like many other tables were experiencing similar issues--orders coming out at different times or missing entirely, with customers having to repeatedly follow up. What stood out most was the lack of communication. There was no acknowledgment of the delays, no check-ins, and no apology--not when the food was dropped off, and not even when we left. Given that we had to pay upfront and the price point was $20+ per bowl, it made the experience feel even more disappointing. While the portions were decent and the noodles seemed handmade, the food itself didn't feel particularly special to justify the wait or cost. I truly hope this feedback is helpful. With better timing, communication, and overall service, I think the experience could be much better.

Luckily I was able to snag reservations, but you do sit pretty close to the tables around you. We didn't mind since we had a corner table. To share, we ordered the chicken curry nasi lemak, sayap ayam pedas, and kaya toast. All three dishes were phenomenal, each with its own distinct flavor. The sayap ayam pedas was a huge portion for just 2 people, but we couldn't stop eating. The combination of soy sauce and fish sauce was not overpowering at all and the chicken itself was so juicy. The chicken curry in the nasi lemak was delicious with the coconut rice. Along with the anchovies, egg, peanuts, and sambal, it was a choose-your-own-adventure kind of bite. The kaya toast was the perfectly sweet dish to balance out all the flavors. I especially loved dipping it in the poached egg for a satisfyingly runny bite. I left feeling so full, but so motivated to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend!

The roti jala is an always-order, and great for sharing. The laksa is really good, and a great option for vegetarians. I personally like the nasi lemak, but just be careful not to add all of the chilis they provide you, as that can really overwhelm the flavor of the dish. The nasi biryani is good -- the beef rendang is wonderfully flavorful but not the most tender rendang I've had. Portions are satisfying, thankfully, since all the entrees are about $20 and up. This place is a true gem, serving satisfying, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant looks small from the front, but space is used efficiently and they manage to fit quite a bit of seating into not that large of a dining room. Tables are mostly four tops, quite spacious at that, and surrounded by sturdy wooden chairs. I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there were a few other tables at any given time. Service was quick and our water never ran empty. We had the wontons in hot oil, topped with peanuts, I had the beef chow fun, and my dinner buddy had the pork with hot sauce noodles. The wontons are very very good, stuffed with flavorful pork and swimming in a sauce that sits in that perfect spot at the intersection of hot and sour. The peanuts and scallions add a delightful crunch. Their beef chow fun satisfies every bit of childhood nostalgia I have for this dish, with lots of wok hei, bouncy noodles, and the most tender of beef. I think my favorite beef chow fun in the city still lives at A+ Hong Kong Kitchen, but this is a close second. The portion here is also huge. I am a human vacuum and I actually brought leftovers home, which is rare for me. The pork with hot sauce noodles is seemingly a fusion of zha jiang mian and dan dan noodles. My friend really enjoyed it and actually finished the whole thing, which is saying something given that she doesn't usually eat that much. There are so many other items on the menu that I'm eager to try, so I will definitely be back.

When we went in, it was pretty empty. We were immediately sat, and ordered. The hot jasmine tea quickly followed. Our Calamari came out quick and was delicious to the point I nearly had to fight my son for the last piece. I quickly surrendered as he does stab people...see above...he parried my fork and stabbed the last piece before quickly finishing the move. Our mains came out shortly after we finished the calamari. The 14yo ordered beef brisket noodle soup. He said it was delicious, but too spicy after he added too much chili oil. The wife scoffed at the idea that there's such a thing as too much chili oil and ate some of his soup. This was after she dug into her hot pot. I did get a chance to sample the delicate pork pieces and the flavorful rice. The slightly crispy rice at the bottom of the pot were so delicious. I had the Singapore style fried noodles. Really tasty. The noodles had so many flavors from the vegetables to the meats (shrimp, chicken meat & egg, and pork) and the sauce. I enjoyed the meal, and look forward to discovering more dishes to try on our adventures trying to find parking. JuFeng, thank you for the delicious meal!
