    Lemongrass Porkchop
    Amanda W.

The soup wasnt very good and too salty and the viet coffee was too water and sweet, the summer roll didnt have the usual chive sticking out and the shrimp ratio to vermicelli was not proportionate. Everyone working there was friendly, and I likes the pork chop bun. Good shredded lettuce and cucumbers with daikon carrot pickle. The fishsauce was not it, it looked like thai sweet and chili sauce w a splash of fish sauce. The banh mi wasnt our favorite either it had a lot of mayo and overpowered the fresh herb(cilantro) and pickled daikon/carrot. The pork was covered in creamy mayo but the bread wasnt very fresh and felt a bit staled while it toasted. I did really like the spring roll filling it was flavorful and savory. Overall I was craving pork chop and it delivered well.

This was such a great lunch! Dropped in on a Monday with my mother a little before 1pm. Was greeted and seated right away. Order was taken quickly, I had the VIETNAMESE VERMICELLI NOODLES and my mom had the VIETNAMESE COMBINATION RICE. The food was fresh and omg tasty. The spring roll was one of the best, crunchy and delicious. I had the lychee yogurt soda, :) And my mother had the iced coffee, super strong! The service was amazing, the waitress was super sweet and attentive and super clean environment. My mom and I want to make it out once a month ritual.

Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup made with a flavorful broth, rice noodles, and meat (usually beef or chicken) and is served with bean sprouts, herbs, and lime wedges for a citrus splash. Pho is my go to soup order when dining in Vietnamese restaurants. Bay Ridge has added numerous delicious restaurants like E Noodle, Em and Pho Table. I have yet to dine in at Pho Table but my visit will be coming soon as temperatures drop. The other night, I was craving Pho but somehow ordered their Banh Mi chicken, they were offering a BOGO on it and I couldn't resist. I also ordered their Milk Tea. The delivery was a little late however the deliciousness of the Banh Mi erased the lateness. The sandwich was packed with care, a plastic sandwich case housed it and kept it neat and fresh. The sandwich was generous in portion and packed with chicken, carrots and other veggies, house mayo on a French baguette. They added slices of jalapeño on the side. The sandwich was absolutely scrumptious, fresh and huge. I ate half and saved half for next day. The Milk tea was good but didn't have Boba, I probably read it incorrectly or it just doesn't come with it. Pho offers a combo order of pho, appetizer and drink or Banh mi, appetizer and drink. These combos offer great value for the money. I'm looking forward to a future Pho meal on a cold wintry day. Pho Table is located on 1870 86th Street, Brooklyn, NY

New pho spot in the neighborhood !! I was skeptical to try this but I am so glad I did. They only serve a few items on the menu: summer spring rolls, fried spring rolls, sandwiches, rice dishes, or pho and they have some drinks. They also have 2 deals combo if you want to try more things at once for a deal price. I only wanted to try their pho and the soup was delicious. The portions are so big and they give so much broth. Some spots I know are super stingy with their broth but not Pho Table!! Broth was not too salty and super flavorful with lots of beef flavor. It was not bland at all. I love their homemade chili crisp sauce too. I'm definitely coming back to try their viet iced coffee and spring rolls!!!

The food was very good. It was my first time eating here and I was pleasant surprised. I can here with my 2 other sisters. I got the grilled pork Banh mi and it was delicious. The pho was excellent and the broth was very tasty. It was a pretty big portion of noodles and soup. The grilled pork over rice was very good too. I will definitely come back . It's hard to find a good banh mi in nyc and this one just hits the spot. Btw, It is a very small restaurant with only a few tables.

I came in on a Friday night and sat down by the door. It took a few minutes but I was brought a menu and ordered their homemade sodas. I had the passionfruit my friends the lychee. Both were delicious. I did the meal combo that came with an app phone and drink for $22. I felt it was worth it. I got the pork dumplings which were perfectly crispy. The pho also came out so quickly with sliced brisket which had so much meat more than I usually see when I order. They packed up my leftovers quickly. Its a small place but it was packed.

Pho Table is my go-to for a quick viet meal. Menu is not as extensive as the typical Vietnamese restaurant but the quality compensates for this. They do offer banh mi and pho, the basics. Located in Fort Hamilton away from the craziness of 8ave, this is one of their two locations in Brooklyn. I always order their house special pho. Service is simple but quick. The broth here is one of the best compared to other viet restaurants. Price here is average compared to other places too. Restaurant is clean and modern. Will try their banh mi next time.

The pho & summer rolls were delicious! 10/10 service! They were very kind and fast! I would definitely come again!

Def one of the better pho spots in the area! We came during grand opening special so their pho was at a discounted price too!! This is their 2nd location and they're planning a 3rd for 86th st area! House special pho 4/5: Great portion from noodle to meat ratio! Broth is a little on the bland side Bonus points for having chili oil and steamed bean spouts Bahn mi 4/5 was nicely crisp, not too crispy and have just enough softness to the bun but meat was not charred enough and doesn't have enough flavor Summer roll 3.5/5: was also quite bland from the grilled pork

I was craving something hearty and comforting to warm me up on a cold day, so I decided to stop by this spot. The interior is cozy, with around 20 seats. I visited on a Saturday night, and the place was packed, but luckily, I didn't have to wait too long for a table. The house special pho was absolutely fantastic. The broth was rich, flavorful, and packed with a deep beefy taste, while the noodles had the perfect texture. The portion sizes are generous--so much so that I couldn't finish it all! The combination rice dish was also excellent, but the real standout was the grilled pork. It was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and had a delicious char that made it my favorite part of the meal. A truly satisfying experience!

This new location is the second one to open and it's small inside, but was still super busy for their grand opening weeks. The House Special Pho was only $11 for their opening promo and the bowl is massive! It's packed with meet, lots of noodles, and a really flavorful msg-free broth. They also make delicious fried Spring Rolls and refreshing Summer Rolls. The host, an older man, was super friendly! He spent lots of time chatting with us and making sure all the tables were being taken care of. The service was also still quick and efficient even though they were extremely busy!

May be some of the best pho I had in the area and it's very affordable for a big bowl at $15. You can get a combo set with the pho for $25, which comes with an appetizer and drink. I personally ordered the House Special, which was fantastic. Very flavorful and rich. The Summer Roll is freshly made, gotta dip it in the peanut sauce it comes with. The Vietnamese Coffee was great as well.

I first tried this place when my sister ordered takeout from them. At that time, it was relatively new spot and I tried their sandwich and pho and it was pretty good! Since then, I've had their food several times and it's always on point. Decided to eat-in once at their Fort Hamilton location (they have another on 18th Ave in Bensonhurst), got the house special pho and it came in a huge bowl. It had a lot toppings: beef brisket, beef balls, tripe, and tendon. I couldn't finish it, so I took the rest to go. Their menu doesn't have a lot of items compared to a typical Vietnamese restaurant, but whenever I'm craving pho and in the neighborhood, I will always think of them.

4-stars- I tried them for the first time as I was looking for a new Chinese take out restaurant…read moresince Grand Szechuan closed, which was on 5 Ave near 87 street. The menu and Yelp reviews looked good so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls, Kung Pao Shrimp, General Tao's Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai. I was told it would take 45 minutes to be delivered and it came in a few minutes under the time. All the dishes were good, portions were fair and there were good flavors of each dish. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because there was an issue with one of the dishes. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp and we received Chicken instead. It would not have been a big deal but we already had two chicken dishes and wanted to have a shrimp dish. When we called they asked me if I wanted the $1 difference back. I said, no I wanted the shrimp dish. I told them I took out some of the food and put it on my plate not realizing it was not shrimp. I said that if this happened in a restaurant, they would just give us a new dish. My expectation was that they would apologize, send me the shrimp dish as quickly as possible as we were already eating. Instead, they had to check with the chef and the manager before agreeing to send me the shrimp dish. They asked me to give them back the chicken dish wish surprised me. What are they going to do the chicken dish?? They did send me the shrimp dish within about 30 minutes at no charge. Mistakes happen, and I was understanding. I wanted to help them improve their customer relations as most customers would not be back if they had to plead to get the dish replaced. I would still order from them and recommend them. I just hope they learn from their mistakes as I would like them to succeed. The food is very good and I would like to see them succeed. I will give them another try on the future and I hope everything is on point.

Definitely get the lychee if you are unsure as that is what the worker recommended when i asked. The dumplings were small but yummy with their homemade sauce. I wish they were bigger but no other complaints. The bahn mi's were delicious i got the prok and the flavoring were juicy with their homemade sauce pickled carrots and cucumbers slices balancing it out. The bread was so crispy i throughly enjoyed. There were 10 of us, so we ordered a variety of Chinese dishes. Overall the food wasn't bad, but nothing amazing. We got about 7 dishes and a soup, and the bill came out to around $413. It's in a quieter area of Boro Park surrounded by residences and commercial warehouses and auto shops. Yet I wanted to try it for months. So we did try it especially as they have a lunch special everyday from 11am to 3pm which offers a starter of their house soup with all the fixings - spare rib, fresh chicken, mushrooms, a abalone as well. While not like most other restaurants which their house soup is left over bones and odds/ends with a heap loud of msg. Then 3 main dishes of your choice from their lunch special menu which has over 20 dishes for you. Plus a bowl of their white rice for each person. Even a simple bowl of white rice was amazing - it's a mix of different rices which presents very nicely - each grain stays individual, long, fluffy, and great texture. The main dishes do not disappoint- fresh, flavorful, well balanced, and with wok hay. We've now eaten there a handful of times for lunch and even with other friends/family - everyone agrees the food and preparation is excellent. Everyone says they would come back. Then if you take into account the lunch special deal for $30 this is an amazing meal that feeds your taste buds and stomach yet your wallet praises you. I have read some reviews giving 1 star with comments about long wait for dim sum, dim sum being average at best, and bad manager/servers etc. I have these observations to share - Dak Sing Palace has a small dim sum menu maybe a dozen or less items and they are not a dim sum restaurant so they likely don't produce dim sum fresh daily. Likely their dim sum is frozen and reheated. Thus the wait time and average dim sum. Bad manager/servers - this is not uncommon at Chinese restaurants it is almost expected to have to deal with this to some extent. My own experiences here every server does do their job maybe some without a smile but we have had excellent servers with a smile and small talk also. If you have any reservations about trying Dak Sing Palace due to how the appearance may seem, or reviews on the service, or dim sum then I say Just Go! And try using their lunch special for $30! You won't be disappointed.

The restaurant is not overly expensive -- the $65.00 lunch bill below suggests a high-end selection and/or apps. I had a pineapple mint lemonade, sea bass on saffron risotto, a lovely salad topped with potato gnocchi, and cake dessert for $85 inclusive of 20% tip and tax. Nearly everything tasted fresh and homemade. Worth it. If this were served in Restaurant Row, the bill would be $40 more and the food not nearly as good. Because Beets & Carrots offers something rare and startlingly somehow in decline: food that tastes like food the body happily accepts as such. They serve meals that stand out simply because they taste like food. It was nice to dine outside the home feeling confident no digestive issues, lethargy, brain fog, bloating, etc were around the corner. You can tell that someone health conscious who cares about how ingredients show up in the meal is in the kitchen, someone who thinks food is both very fun and very serious. Least favorite: The lemonade. Mostly personal preference here, as I prefer a much tarter, less watery lemonade with higher lemon:water volume ratio. But I think most people would like it; I would get it again. Favorite: Both the entree and salad (which surprised me with a deliciously simple horseradish dressing) were great, but the bass wins in my book. Skin crisped to perfection...very flavorful fish and a great cut...creamy, perfect risotto. I appreciated that the risotto wasn't too salty as well.
