Curry broth, for chicken curry noodle soup
    Zinat M.

Rich and flavorful, is what I think of when reminiscing about this food. As someone who is not very familiar with this cuisine, I wanted to try it out and I was not disappointed. The baked curry beef was why I decided to order from Yipoh, as I'd never seen a dish like this. It was very flavorful, the meat was tender. The cheese added a creamy savoriness moment to the dish. As noted from previous reviews, the meat is more on the dry side than liquidy, so there's not much gravy in this dish. But, I didn't miss that or notice that at all because the rice had its own flavor with a kiss of beef oil drip. Very balanced dish in my opinion, not over or under seasoned considering there's beef, cheese and seasoned rice altogether. The chicken curry was also tasty. The broth was a bit watery for my preference, however the flavor was on point and I ate it with the beefy rice. I also had alot of curry left over which I kept in the freezer for another meal! Great portion sizes, definitely can feed 2 maybe 3 people depending on appetites. All in all, I can't wait to try again. Bonus points- I ordered them delivery, and the food came hot and fresh.

Foodwise - came for the wat dan hot, did not disappoint. Flavors and textures on point. Char kway teow on the other hand was lacking in wok hei and flavor. Chicken skewers and roti were also done well (both curry and peanut sauce). Hainanese chicken was just ok. Slight hygiene issues with the food, which was a bit unfortunate, hopefully just a one off.

My friends and I were craving Malaysian and decided to give this spot a try. We got family style and all of us liked it. The hainese chicken was juicy and I consider it one of the best in nyc. Extra star cause the manager was kind enough to give us a shaved ice cream. Id def come back.

This is a great Malaysian spot! The curry laksa hit the spot and was the perfect level of spicy with great fried tofu! We also got the curry chicken baked rice and was super cheesy and delicious! It seems like the base is fried rice as well. The green curry chicken over rice was also super delicious. The chicken was soft and the curry was coconutty with some spice. The interior is brightly lit and clean, with around 8 tables to dine at. We came on a weeknight when they recently grand opened and the food took some time to come out but was understandable. There were a lot of takeout orders while we were dining, so interested to see the portion size for takeout. Overall, the portion size was good and the food was delicious.

Saw this restaurant recently opened in the neighborhood and always saw customers inside so I decided to try them out. Both dishes I got were delicious and lots of meat. They accept cash and credit cards which is nice. Would come back again even though it is pricier than other Chinese places nearby.

    Yellow wine chicken noodle soup

Haven't been in a few months and it's suddenly very good because their original location doesn't taste as good. The menu changed but I haven't studied whether prices increased. The menu across both locations have always been slightly different but it's more apparent now (unless they changed it there too in the past week). There's dedicated sections for the popular items letting you have more customizations. I don't mind them simplifying the menu if it'll help streamline their operations. I got my usual clam noodle soup. The clams aren't big but I like how fresh and juicy they are. The soup base isn't as flavorful as it used to be when they first opened. It's still alright. My mom got the wat dan hor with clams. It's a new version with clams for only $1.50 more which is a good deal. Overall their menu added a lot of options with clams. Clams make this place unique. My dad tried the yellow wine chicken noodle soup. We saw it on the off menu sign since they first opened but it wasn't actually available back then. It's a good item for cold wintry days. The egg was a surprise and there are many additional toppings. The broth comes out a bit oily perhaps from the chicken. The chicken isn't the most tender but tolerable. I think it comes down to whether you like the yellow wine taste. I'm not a fan. I'm going to give it 5* even if it's not perfect because we enjoyed the meal. Also comparing to similarly priced noodles such as Ten Seconds, this tastes much better. Also update they are closed on Wednesdays now.

Half the menu was crossed out. Hainan chicken sold out at 6:30pm. Limited seating to 7 tables, 8 at most. Flavors of dishes we ordered were decent. That is all.

Heard of this location in 20th Ave. We were looking for lunch, so this new closer location fitted our bill. We got the Bake Curry Beef Shank and Rice ($12.95) after seeing a review. My boyfriend enjoyed it more than me. The curry flavor was very strong, and they give tons of HUGE beef shanks that actually aren't tough to chew! The Ipoh Seafood Wat Dan Hor ($11.50) was top on their menu, so we picked that too, not knowing what it was. It turned out to be like an egg drop noodle over chow fun. The sauce was very creamy and soft, making the veggies and seafood also soft and sweet. The chow fun underneath was also pan fried and well flavored on its own, but I personally didn't think that matched over the creamy sauce to really complement the sauce. Service was attentive and chill. YiPoh is a great simple option if you're looking for a quick bite. I wish their menu had photos so we could choose better!

Food: ordered fried pearl noodles and Tom yum beef soup It was so good!! I really liked the food combo my friend and I got. Since I'm Chinese I normally prefer to get other types of cuisine but I would 10/10 come back here. Fair price too, it is a small business! Service: very friendly, we met the owner and he gave us some Thai iced tea surprised how good the drink was, the tea flavor is strong which I loved. My fave spot for Thai ice tea now (I bought three more afterwards for my family to try!) Ambiance: homey, casual, great place to catch up with friends :)

Their yellow wine chicken noodle soup is a must try, a little side of sweet as they added goji. Makes your body warm with the yellow wine, great for blood circulation just like the ones from "sitting month".

The food taste good, and the price is reasonable,I went 2 times, will definitely come back next time.

The menu and Yelp reviews looked good so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls, Kung Pao Shrimp, General Tao's Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai. I was told it would take 45 minutes to be delivered and it came in a few minutes under the time. All the dishes were good, portions were fair and there were good flavors of each dish. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because there was an issue with one of the dishes. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp and we received Chicken instead. It would not have been a big deal but we already had two chicken dishes and wanted to have a shrimp dish. When we called they asked me if I wanted the $1 difference back. I said, no I wanted the shrimp dish. I told them I took out some of the food and put it on my plate not realizing it was not shrimp. I said that if this happened in a restaurant, they would just give us a new dish. My expectation was that they would apologize, send me the shrimp dish as quickly as possible as we were already eating. Instead, they had to check with the chef and the manager before agreeing to send me the shrimp dish. They asked me to give them back the chicken dish wish surprised me. What are they going to do the chicken dish?? They did send me the shrimp dish within about 30 minutes at no charge. Mistakes happen, and I was understanding. I wanted to help them improve their customer relations as most customers would not be back if they had to plead to get the dish replaced. I would still order from them and recommend them. I just hope they learn from their mistakes as I would like them to succeed. The food is very good and I would like to see them succeed. I will give them another try on the future and I hope everything is on point.

It's in a quieter area of Boro Park surrounded by residences and commercial warehouses and auto shops. Yet I wanted to try it for months. So we did try it especially as they have a lunch special everyday from 11am to 3pm which offers a starter of their house soup with all the fixings - spare rib, fresh chicken, mushrooms, a abalone as well. While not like most other restaurants which their house soup is left over bones and odds/ends with a heap loud of msg. Then 3 main dishes of your choice from their lunch special menu which has over 20 dishes for you. Plus a bowl of their white rice for each person. Even a simple bowl of white rice was amazing - it's a mix of different rices which presents very nicely - each grain stays individual, long, fluffy, and great texture. The main dishes do not disappoint- fresh, flavorful, well balanced, and with wok hay. We've now eaten there a handful of times for lunch and even with other friends/family - everyone agrees the food and preparation is excellent. Everyone says they would come back. Then if you take into account the lunch special deal for $30 this is an amazing meal that feeds your taste buds and stomach yet your wallet praises you. I have read some reviews giving 1 star with comments about long wait for dim sum, dim sum being average at best, and bad manager/servers etc. I have these observations to share - Dak Sing Palace has a small dim sum menu maybe a dozen or less items and they are not a dim sum restaurant so they likely don't produce dim sum fresh daily. Likely their dim sum is frozen and reheated. Thus the wait time and average dim sum. Bad manager/servers - this is not uncommon at Chinese restaurants it is almost expected to have to deal with this to some extent. My own experiences here every server does do their job maybe some without a smile but we have had excellent servers with a smile and small talk also. If you have any reservations about trying Dak Sing Palace due to how the appearance may seem, or reviews on the service, or dim sum then I say Just Go! And try using their lunch special for $30! You won't be disappointed.
