    Braised pork ribs rice

This is located in 8th Ave Sunset Park. Staffs were friendly. Ordered braised pork ribs with rice. It came with spared ribs, bok choy, and fried egg. This was very filling. You paid up at the cashier when you leave. Drinks: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5

Great flavor. Fast service. Noodles came out before lamb skewers. Noodles were nice and chewy. Broth is clean and light. Will definitely come back when craving beef noodle soup.

Food: The food is excellent and tasty here! I tried the wood ear mushrooms, zhajiang noodles, big pan chicken over rice, and the mala noodles. Everything was very well made and delicious. I would recommend the big pan chicken. The portions of noodles aren't large so getting a side dish or appetizer is a good idea. For the noodle dishes, you're able to choose the type and thickness of the noodle you want. They also offer a combo meal for $15 which includes a noodle soup, soda and an appetizer. Service: Service was good. Staff are attentive and friendly. Ambiance: The restaurant is spacious and seating is comfortable. They are able to accommodate small and large groups. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

Top tier. I'm so glad I found a spot relatively near, where I can get my noodles and a spicy cumin lamb burger fix whenever the crave hits. I took a shot based on Yelp reviews and they did not steer me wrong. I ordered from a few blocks away and it was ready by the time I arrived. I was initially worried about the noodles, since they clumped together in one big block by the time I brought them home. But as soon as were placed in the warm broth of the beef braised noodle soup, they dispersed immediately. They remained toothy in texture, and did not just disintegrate. I thought it might be a mushy mess, but it was not! The beef was tender, with bok choy giving that needed crunch and green-ness. The burger was fantastic, the bread similar to Indian paratha bread. The lamb was delicious and tender, as were the skewers. The entire meal was inexpensive, always a plus. They have a dining area, seems spacious enough and nice for an evening out. The location is a busy one, 60th street being a bustling thruway so be careful. The parking situation is... what parking? Good Luck, IYKYK. I double parked and ran in and out... when in Brooklyn.

Fast service. Food was alright. The crispy chicken was the best of all the food we ordered. The lamb screwers did not have lamb flavors so that was the down side... it tasted more like duck meat. The noodles were alright.

Came for lunch on Monday and was seated without wait. We ordered the signature Lanzhou beef noodles one spicy and one non spicy version. Food was served quickly. I had the spicy version and the soup was not spicy at all. It was a good touch of spice and overall tasted good. The noodles are nice but seemed to clump together. I noticed a few small clumps that weren't cooked properly. Other than that, the noodles and flavors are good. Would come back to try the beef burger / sandwich and the cold noodles.

Overall: 4.5/5 If you're craving cheap eats and good comfort food, this is the place! They have a combo deal that includes the signature noodles, Soda and a burger for around $13. I think it's super worth it. The only thing I would say is that the lamb burger isn't made like a typical 肉夹馍. The burger itself isn't flaky which was a letdown but still very good. The noodles itself was super flavorful. You can choose your spice level and of course I went with no spicy haha. Food is served very quickly and the service/ambiance was very nice. I am definitely coming back to try other items on the menu!

3.5/5: Surprisingly enjoyed the appetizers more than their noodle soup! Chicken Salad: not really a salad because this is Kou Shui Ji, which is chicken in chili oil. The chicken is near perfection for me: soft and thinly cut, perfect for the sauce. Good portion Mung Bean Noodles: I did think these would be a lot thicker but really enjoyable as well! Texture is good. I ate it together with the cold chicken dish, which you should totally do as well as it's a great combination per bite! Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup: here's where I was a bit let down. The noodles itself are good, but everything else is just on the plain side for me. If you're looking for a cleaner tasting noodle soup, this is probably it, but I was expecting a little bit more spice, a little bit more flavor, just a little bit more overall. Spicy Cumin Lamb Burger: the lamb is decent, but the burger (bun) part is a no

Starting off, they barely greeted us in the entrance. They never brought water over until we specifically asked for water. Usually water is brought without asking. Their whole attitude was nonchalant and uncaring. Took forever to bring us a spoon despite us being the closest to the kitchen. The food represent the workers' attitude. Seeing the reviews, I expected it to be more flavorful but the taste greatly disappointed. While the environment was nice and looked clean.

Loved everything here from the service to the food. I came here on a weekday afternoon and the restaurant was almost completely empty. I ordered their recommended noodle dish and it was absolutely delicious. I also ordered the mala potatoes as an appetizer but it was way too heavy for one person. I would definitely come back here with the bigger group and explore more of the menu.

The hand pulled noodles are freshly made here and is probably my fav dish here. I personally think their best stuff is spicy so if you cant handle spicy I wouldn't like it here. The classic spicy beef noodles and good and the spicy burgers as well. Their chili oil is good so don't forget to add more if you like your dishes extra spicy!

If you're looking for a quick dinner spot in 8th Ave, Dun Huang fits the bill! Emphasis on the quick. Not even 3 minutes in, our food came. You can customize the noodle type, but I got the regular lol. Regardless of the dish being labeled spicy, you can ask the workers to lower the spiciness which I appreciate. Some stores are hard set on their spice level. My Braised Beef Sirloin Noodle ($9.50) was not shabby at all! I didn't know how much I missed Lanzhou style noodles until I had this. The spice was right at my tolerance, and the broth was so flavorful! The noodles were also rightly soft and had good pull. The meat was sort of dry, but not a deal breaker. The Stewed Pork Burger ($4.25) was sadly small, but tasted great! The smell reminded me of soup from home, but the actual taste was not as pungent. The meat wedged between bao really warms the heart, although I do wish there was just a tad more flavor. You know a spot is authentically Chinese when they have C-pop hits playing. They didn't check up on us to refill our water, but they sure knew when to drop the bill. Nonetheless, they seem to be very clean, and still give out disposable utensils. With the attention to cleanliness, comfortable ambiance and great food, I'd totally come back whenever I am craving some noodles!

Good Chinese music, delicious food, fast service - what else more could you ask for? I got the Signature Lanzhou beef noodles with EXTRA WIDE noodles while my friend got the Braised Beef Noodle with regular noodles. I was feeling adventurous but stick with the regular, it's much better. The extra-wide noodles stuck together and just didn't hit the same. As for the broth, wow that was some amazing stuff! I don't usually drink noodle broths but I nearly cleaned the bowl this time. It was delicate but DEEP in flavor. The beef slices were a bit dry though. My friend's broth was rich and delicious in a different way. Really appreciate the staff taking orders seriously cause I requested mine to be only A LITTLE BIT spicy cause I can't handle spice well and that raindrop of chili was solid proof. There are jars of chili and vinegar on the table if you want to tailor your food. We also each got a strewed pork burger though we thought we ordered 1 to share. Luckily(?) that did not happen cause they were much smaller than expected. It was hot and flavorful with the bits of fatty pork inside. Wish there was some kind of sauce glazed on top though. Overall, really enjoyed my dinner here and 10/10 would go again!
