This place is god awful! I'm usually a fair person and will not write a bad review for mediocre food. But this place is just beyond bad. Seriously, the 4/5 star people? Do you even have taste buds??? Ordered the charbroiled beef, shrimp, egg roll vermicelli and pho. Everything tasted like it was only marinated in fish sauce - no lemongrass, no garlic, no nothing! The fish sauce dressing that came with it only tasted like fish sauce - gross. The pho soup had no flavor either. It was so bland. The nerve of this owner to think they can feed people crappy ass food and think we can't tell if you're giving us the real deal or not. I threw everything in the trash. read more

Ordered Chicken Pad Thai. The chicken was extremely dry and tough. The dish had everything Pad Thai called for except the taste. It was just a sweet soy sauce flavor, far from any Pad Thai I've ever had. I love Pad Thai, sadly this was very disappointing. Food and service are okay. The place looks clean just feel uncomfortable by the way they spray spic n span to clean the table. The chemical fume can get into people's food or toxicate the environment. I've mentioned the concerns to them before and they still use it. I had the worst experience ever in a restaurant Saturday around 4:30pm . we sat down but there were two workers in there and no one came to us so I had to get the menu myself, and on top of that, they didn't even look at us. The guy server just went to a customer who came later than us. I thought the worst part ended, but I was wrong. The girl worker takes order from this couple and we were right there next to them but she decides to pass by and not looking. Gosh I felt like I was invisible. This pho restaurant is pretty good. The egg rolls are crispy. I like the pho chicken and my family likes the pho tai (beef). The soup comes out hot and tasty every time. The food is pretty consistently good. They have a couple of locations, but I've only been to this one. We gave them a second try and are still leaving disappointed. The first time we never got the main meal and had to take it to go. And, the doorbell was super loud and kept ringing the whole time. This time we got seated right away but after she took our order and got our drinks the waitress asked us if we could move to the booth because they needed our table for a larger party! I've eaten there once before but never ordered to go, I guess the quality doesn't matter when they send it home with you and I was completely disappointed. I ordered online with a total of $38.61. When I picked it up the girl told em $43. I pulled up app and told how it said $38.61, but she insisted $43. I paid it anyways she gave no reason for $5 increase. The food was not good. The chicken and rice was way over cooked and dry; with no sauce included. The noodles were very dry and that chicken was overcooked and dry as well. Even the spring rolls had to be drenched in sauce because the pork was so overcooked. We ended up not eating most of the order. Been wanting to try this spot but didn't know where it was. Finally tried it today. Price: Excellent. $6.95 for a regular size bowl Quantity: Good. Bowl was filled with noodles and plenty of meat Quality: Decent for Cypress. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best. The noodles were good but the meat had a weird taste. It wasn't a bad taste but just not something I was familiar with. Meat quality was good though. Not over cooked and pretty tender. I would come back but only because I work down the street. I would not seek this place out. The taste satisfied the cravings. Overall, this place was average. The price and quantity gave this place average rating. The taste is probably a 2 stars or 1.5 (cuz I was extremely hungry so it might have influenced my taste) I would come back here but only when I have a craving for Asian food that's not sushi or panda ex. I use to live local to this place, It is located in a semi quiet area.. Now I've eaten pho for many many years now, us Mexicans call it the Vietnamese hangover cure substitute to menudo. One one way you can always tell about some good pho is the flavor of the broth. I've eaten at over 20 different pho restaurants and this place made my top 5 no problem! I don't know how their pho tastes (I didn't order it when we went) but the #40 (vermicelli noodles with beef tri-tip) is BOMB! I ordered that and I was instantly hooked.. I'm thinking bout coming back tomorrow LOL! But honestly, all the dishes we ordered were sooooo good.. We ordered some chicken wings and fried egg rolls (along with my husband's pho and my noodles dish), and it was sooooo yummy. Very flavorful (I always love the "fish sauce" that comes with the egg rolls, and it also came with the #40 dish so I was stoked). For all four it cost us about $38 (that's without drinks; had water) so it wasn't bad at all.. or at least, we didn't think so. Server didn't check on us at all, but we didn't care lol Not busy, so that was nice.. Raise a hand for some water or something and I'm sure they'll take care of you. I had a Vermicelli bowl, number 39, that was pretty good. If the food was the only thing to consider, I'd come back. However, the service was horrid. Not once, in over an hour that I was there with my friends, did a single waiter/waitress stop by our table to check in, or even get us a water. Additionally, they are beyond stubborn -- refusing to provide separate checks. I have never in my entire life been to an establishment that was incapable of separating checks, so I found their resistance ridiculous. After fussing, they did it, and it took a whopping two seconds of their time. I had a good chuckle after the fact. read more

The last time I came here (about a month ago) there was a dead fly in my lettuce. I asked them to take it away and they never did. I asked for new/more lettuce. The new lettuce looked dirty. we asked for more lemon for our soup and we got 2 lemon wedges!! There were three of us asking for lemon. Food is good. Customer service is average. So if you want good pho but don't mind the average customer service then this place would suffice. This is my go to pho restaurant when I'm too lazy to drive to Westminster or garden grove area. Just avoid the rush hour during dinner then you'll have average customer service. Probably the cleanest place for Pho. Broth in pho is genuine and all dishes are reasonably priced. Ice coffee isn't overwhelmingly sweet, but just right. Pleasant place to have a little getaway for Asian lunch. read more

This is my favorite Pho house near Cerritos. Normally I would travel to Little Saigon, Westminster but this is as close as you can get to authentic Pho. I've tried the tofu spring rolls and love their peanut sauce. read more
