Fried Chicken Wings appetizer
Rod V.

Would give a 3.5 if I could. Stopped by this place on the way home to Seattle. Nice variety of options on their menu. Friend a I both ordered the beef pho (beef based broth for all their pho), and split the fresh rolls and crab Rangoon appetizers. I also ordered the chicken wing appetizer to go. Food was probably closer to a 3, but good, prompt, friendly service, hence my thoughts about giving 3.5 stars if I could. Not bad at all, but probably not a place I'd go out of my way to go back to either.

Come on it

I really like this place. It's kind of hidden and out of the way. Once you find it you will be like I have to remember this place and come back. I got the chicken chow mein spicy with salad rolls. The salad rolls automatically come with pork and shrimp where most places charge you to have either. They were delicious. The peanut sauce was not as good as other places and a little runny tho. However, the chow mein was delicious. It even came with mushrooms, celery, carrots, etc. When I need my noodle fix again I will come here. Plus, I came in and ordered at 11:30am on Tuesday and it took about 10 mins total.

Family owned restaurant with decent food for fairly high prices. Seemed like many people come here for a quick bite or carry out. Service is quick.

Eye round steak pho

Been going here for years I get the eye round steak pho with salad rolls every time and it never fails. This is one of the few places that serve their salad rolls with warm peanut sauce, and warm peanut sauce makes it 10x better than cold. Never had to wait a long time for my food to come out. This places deserves more recognition than it gets.

I ordered the chicken pho takeout. Generous portions of noodles and broth. Chicken broth was pretty bland. Overall not bad but not good.

I've been coming here for 16 years and it never disappoints! The food is always fresh and favorable, and the staff are always kind and prompt.

BEST PHO IN VANCOUVER! Hands down! This place is a hole in the wall off 4th plain and it's a hidden gem. They shred the chicken, add spices and make authentic bone broth that is super good. I drive all the way from the other side of town just to get this pho! The egg rolls are also super good. If you're a pho lover like me you won't be disappointed! The guys who work here are also really nice as well. Super friendly people, good service and amazing pho.

1. Fresh Salad Rolls

Flavorless food, I ordered lemon grass chicken and couldn't tell if the meat was chicken, even after tasting! Salad rolls were terrible, lettuce was brown and the rice paper + tofu were very dry. Very disappointed for a place that had such good reviews!

The bag got wet, but they left a sweet little note :)

Went here roughly 3 weeks ago and I have to say that the customer service was great and they even left me this nice little note on my bag. My mom was very pleased with the food I brought her. My dad recommended this place and we'll definitely be back

Noodles & lettuce mostly.

Great pho and friendly staff. A hole-in-the-wall place that hits the spot if you're craving pho.

My husband and I stopped by Pho Zone in Vancouver, WA this weekend and I can honestly say it was…read moresome of the best pho I've had in a long time. The broth was absolutely phenomenal! It was rich, flavorful and clearly simmered with care. You can taste the depth and balance in every spoonful. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the portions were generous, and the fresh herbs and toppings really elevated the whole bowl. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even without snapping a photo (I dove in too fast!), this is one of those meals you remember. If you're in Vancouver and craving authentic, comforting pho, Pho Zone is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

I'm going to be honest, this location under its different names has not done well in my opinion…read more It was previously under a different name (Pho 777) and had similar issues. Today my partner and I went in for lunch. There was a table ahead of of of four people who had not ordered or gotten drinks yet, and a table in the middle of eating, and us. It took 17 minutes before he took our order. To his credit, he was the only person working up front, but he seemed more focused on the kitchen and doing to go orders, which is okay, but still, not great. I've tried three times in the past 4-5 months to go in for a raw beef salad dish they have. EVERY time they tell me there is SOME reason they can't make it "this time" but that they "normally have it." Every time. So today yet again, I was told they "normally have it" but it "takes a while to make" and wouldn't have any today. Okay, bummer (btw, it doesn't take a significant amount of time to make, it's literally raw beef and veggies/herbs in a lime vinaigrette which "cooks" the beef. You can eat beef raw, so it's not like it has to cure for a number of hours like a ceviche, but okay, remove it from your menu if you can't reliably have it. We order our food. My partner orders a dish he has had at this location numerous times before. It is a dish of stir fried veggies and chicken on a bed of crunchy noodles (looks like a birds nest). He orders egg rolls as well. I order salad rolls and the P1 pho. My salad rolls come out first, maybe 10 minutes later. No worries, they were tasty and well made. And we wait. Another 15 minutes and both our entrees come out, and his egg rolls. His dish is on a bed of stir fried soft noodles, and they give me a refrigerated, plastic wrapped dish with a lemon, two slivers of jalapeno, bean sprouts, and Vietnamese coriander (rau răm). No basil. So I ask him for some basil since that is STANDARD with pho. He goes "Oh okay" and comes back HOLDING two sprigs of basil, and tells me how the flooding in Hawaii a few weeks back makes them unable to get thai basil, so all they have is Italian basil. Okay, interesting...but why wouldn't you tell someone, at a Pho place, that not only do you not have limes but you don't have basil. The pho with the basil we got was good. Good broth, nice amount of meat. But my partners egg rolls had some weird HARD thing in them that he spit out and we left on the plate, which the guy serving us had no idea. He said he'd check with who supplies them. All in all, it was disappointing. Given their menu consistently advertises things they don't really carry regularly, and they seem to just be fine swapping things out without even letting you know when you order, I don't think we will be back. We gave them a lot of chances, from when it was Pho 777 and even here, and given how much it costs to go out to eat, its not worth it. To the servers credit, he did comp my partners food but I insisted on paying for mine since I actually ate mine. My partner decided to eat elsewhere given how much he disliked his. I gave it a two stars instead of one because my pho was good and they did comp my partner, but I think this was our last time.

Honestly such a great find for pho in this area. Definitely one of my faves to come to when I'm…read morecraving it. PARKING: There's plenty of space to park in the surrounding lot. No need to street park here. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is on the smaller side with only a few tables. Each time we've come, there has been open seating for us to get seated quickly. There's a giant mural of how to eat pho like a pro. SERVICE: Never had an issue. The ladies are always quick to seat us and often refill our waters. They bring the food out hot and fresh and we've honestly never waited more than 10 minutes for our food. She was quick to come to the table to take our orders and are always courteous to us when we come in. FOOD: I always get the brisket pho. They have two sizes, small and large. They are pretty decent portions and I always leave full. They serve pho with limes, bean sprouts, and all the fixings. They have hoison sauce and Sriracha on hand as well. Now the brisket and noodles are always good but the star is the broth. I'm so picky with my pho broths and this one always has that deep, rich flavour that I look for in pho. It's a darker broth and doesn't taste watered down like some of the other places I've had in Portland. I've also had their egg rolls and I love them. Always served piping hot and crispy. OVERALL: Been here several times and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend.
