The Pho is usually good here. I ordered a two piece egg roll and while biting into one something snapped my mouth. It was this green rubber band inside the egg roll. When I called to speak to the manager, he said sorry sometimes that happens. No I'm sorry that is not to happen sometimes. That should never happen. Please don't act like this is normal. It is not normal. You need to be more careful.

After getting my car washed at Norco Hills Hand Car Wash, I suddenly craved Pho. I'm not familiar with the area, so I checked Yelp and discovered "Pho Rex", a hidden gem along Hidden Valley Pkwy. I ordered the Pho Tai, which featured tender and juicy filet mignon that melted in my mouth. The clear broth was clean, rich, and aromatic, with a subtle beef flavor. The service was attentive, making me feel welcome. I'll definitely be back!

Came here for the grilled pork banh mi and I was not disappointed. The bread was crisp, not chewy. The pork was flavorful. The veggies (carrot, daikon, cucumber and cilantro) were fresh. Also had the shrimp and pork spring rolls, they were delicious. Great service.

I enjoyed the food here so much! As soon as I entered the restaurant I regretted not just eating my food here but unfortunately someone at home was waiting for theirs. The staff was very friendly and they gave me some recommendations as it was my first time. When it's colder I'll have to try their Pho but for now I tried their BBQ short ribs and their spicy chicken plate which came with rice. I loved both dishes! I could tell the ingredients were fresh and they both dishes were flavorful. I do feel like they could've given a little more meat compared to the rice but maybe that's a takeout thing? If you have a large party I would probably call in advance because the space is limited and it was PACKED when I got there. I'm hoping someone will review their Cajun food/crab boil because I want to try that as well.

This is a pretty solid pho spot. My party ordered two large phos, and they came out fast. The broth had a strong, flavorful taste, the noodle portion was generous. The meat portion was a bit small, but everything still hit the spot. I also liked that they had a variety of chili sauces available at the table. Overall, the food was good and worth trying if you haven't checked out Pho Rex yet. I'd come back again just for the broth!

Best pho spot I've had in Corona/Norco! I would definitely recommend the Number 2. It's cheaper than the other pho spots around, and it has a very welcoming environment. The food is always delicious, and the portions are great for the price!

I've had lots of Pho in the area that is really good, but Pho Rex on Hidden Valley in Norco is by far the best! Always fresh and super tasty. My favorite is the #1 Special with all the meats, with TONS of chili oil to give it a nice kick. One thing I want to add...their egg rolls are TO DIE FOR!!! I sometimes just order a couple of orders to-go because I crave them all the time!

This spot right off hidden Valley Parkway is sure to satisfy your cravings for Vietnamese food. My personal favorite is the grilled chicken with white rice dish. It comes with a small side of sweet and spicy sauce that I absolutely just love. The Banh mi is also on point. If you haven't had a Banh mi yet, please be sure to order it. Banh Mi is a fusion French style baguettes and Vietnamese grilling perfection. It usually comes with a whole slew of veggies and Mayo. My favorite part is when I take a bite and includes a crispy jalapeño slice with just the right amount of spice. Additionally, their shrimp- spring rolls dipped in peanut sauce are a must have. They provide a refreshing lightweight snack that makes you feel healthy while eating something delicious. I love the service here. There was a miscommunication in my order, but the staff was happy to resolve it and take care of me. The dining experience is also pleasant. If you're looking for a cute little set up for casual dining, this is your spot. I haven't tried the pho yet, but I'm eager to return.

First I want to say. I love to support my local businesses but this place I have been trying to give them so many chances but they have failed me. As you can see in my picture pho special and missing a few toppings. Also The price increase and the meat is less. Rather drive a little bit further out and better foods.

    Good!

Best pho broth I've ever had. The broth is very golden brown but clear without any oil or fat. Beef spring rolls are very good.

Not bad but not the best pho, I wouldn't recommend getting the spring rolls. Egg rolls aren't bad.

It's also kind of funny that there's literally a jacuzzi in the middle of the floor, so definitely watch where you step As soon as we walked in, the food smelled SO good. You can tell they're working really hard, and I was honestly impressed by how big the menu is for a restaurant being run out of someone's home. We got the fire brisket and the pork skewers, and both were really good! The pork skewers were definitely my favorite. You could tell they were freshly charred, and they tasted amazing with the sauce. For drinks, we got the Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea. The Vietnamese coffee was a little bitter and super strong, which is usually how Vietnamese coffee is, but still good! The Thai tea was really good too. I even watered mine down a little as I drank it so I could get more out of it, which I swear I do every time I get Thai tea at a Vietnamese restaurant The portions were pretty generous too. Some people might think the prices are a little high, but considering it's a small at-home restaurant and we brought home enough leftovers to basically have another meal, I thought it was pretty worth it. They also have such a beautiful view overlooking the Corona hills, which makes the whole backyard dining experience even better. Definitely check their hours before making the drive because they're only open on certain days and for a limited amount of time. We got lucky and there was no line when we went! Also, make sure you have Zelle, Venmo, or cash ready for payment. Such a cute hidden spot and a really unique experience. I'd definitely come back, especially during the winter when I feel like the backyard setting and a hot bowl of pho would be even cozier!

Once again, I stand by claim that this is the most delicious sandwich there is! Specifically at this location, they have it down right. I tried this sandwich at a different Carrot and Daikon and it just didn't hit the way it does at this Corona location. Maybe I'm crazy, but if you have never tried this spot, try the Pork Belly here. The pork belly crunch followed by the fat that melts in your mouth, complimented with a slightly sweet and mostly savory sauce. Of course the carrot, Daikon, jalapeno and cilantro with the fresh banh mi make this top notch!! Wowza!

Full disclosure: I'm always suspicious of places that straddle the "fusion" food fence. I find…read more"fusion" usually translates to smothering something in an off-the-shelf international aisle sauce or wrapping it in a tortilla. Now, let me be clear, this restaurant does NOT mention the term fusion - at all. However, their menu whispers, "Hey there..." Crispy pork belly, lomo saltado, spam and egg. And, oh, brothers and sisters, they have gotten as close to paying the proper homage to all fusion cultures as I've seen. SPAM AND EGG: I'm chubby so SPAM is like my kryptonite. I had to have it. This sandwich threw me for a look. I'm used to other places overcooking the spam. NOT so at C&D. The spam was juicy. The fried egg was fluffy. The spicy sauce was genuinly spicy. I loved it so much that I've had it twice in three days. CRISPY PORK: I love the Chinese/Filipino Crispy Pork. The pork was nice and juicy. The skin was crunchy. Really great flavor. The only drawback was my own fault...of eating it cold because I had to eat the Spam and Egg sandwich first. LOMO SALTADO: I've got this sandwich sitting on my counter calling to me, in the queue while I finish my 2nd Spam and Egg Sandwich. I will come back to this review later today to fill in this blank. UPDATE: It was good! The meat was soft and juicy. Not quite the lomo saltado meat or flavor I'm used to or would expect, so the sandwich's name is a little misleading, but the flavor is good nonetheless. VIETNAMESE COFFEE (Large): I liked it. Yep. Not as overly sweet as I'm used to at Mr. Bagguette in LA, and that's a great thing. The only drawback is that it has a caffeine KICK. I felt the caffeine flowing through my veins 10 minutes after I took my first sip. Bread: In banh mi, the bread is the make-or-break. Here, the bread is not your typical medium to hard crunchy exterior and soft interior. The bread is on the softer side on the outside. It is a great change in pace for me because I haven't cut the top palette of my mouth like I usually do with harder bread. AND...that means that the sandwich doesn't lose it's character when I ate the sandwich cold later. STAFF: Very friendly! They are there to serve the customer. I've been greeted with a smile and genuine happiness. Great work C&D. You have a customer!
