First off, this place is decorated nicer than most pho places I go to, so I give it extra credit for that. We tried two similar pho bowls, and they came out quickly. Broth is quite good, noodles weren't overcooked (which can happens sometimes), and the toppings generous. Ordering a L or XL bowl and sharing is a much better than deal than ordering separately. Service is fast and efficient. Note, they only take cash/debit only. Overall, I was happy with our meal. Good pho, and reasonable prices when you share bowls with family.

The freshness of the herbs and vegetables added the perfect balance, and the side of fried tofu with chili dipping sauce was a delightful extra. The crispy texture of the tofu, paired with the refreshing salad and dipping sauce, was a great complement to the pho. The service was friendly and prompt, and the ambiance was cozy yet bustling, making it a great spot for a casual meal. If you're craving delicious Vietnamese comfort food, this place won't disappoint!

I highly recommend the vermicelli bowls as they give a very generous amount of meat. The Bo La Lop was delicious and sizing oh so generous. It's been a good run at this local staple…read more Pho Metro is one of the more well-known pho spot in Vaughan with tasty flavors, fast service and large portions. Ever since I discovered the spicy Curry Brisket Pho ($20.95), it has always been my go-to dish here all year-round. As creamy and thick as the broth appears, the intense Thai coconut curry flavours are perfect to slurp down in this modern fusion dish. We always order Pho Nam (XL $21.50) as well and both come loaded with a heaping portion of brisket slices in the piping hot noodle soup. From time-to-time, we also add the Banh Xeo savoury egg pancake which arrives on a huge plate even larger than the noodle bowls. Presented with a heap of greens & herbs, the crispy golden crepe is light and filled with bits of shrimp, pork, onions & bean sprouts. This is wrapped with the lettuce leaf for crunchy and refreshing bites. The menu prices have slowly but steadily increased over the past couple of years. There is still cash discount available. Not much has changed with the decor over the years in this spacious but dated restaurant interior. Service is always kind, fast and kid-friendly which is nice for young families. Skip it or hit it? I admit we don't visit as often as we used to all factors considered but boy that Curry Brisket Pho is something I crave.

The Mangonada was refreshing, tangy, and had a bit of heat, while the tamarind candy straw added a chewy surprise between sips. The Halo Halo was topped with creamy ube ice cream, which melted nicely into the drink as you mixed it in. It was a little tricky to mix at first since it was filled to the brim, but the combination of textures, sweetness, and nuttiness was fantastic without ever feeling overwhelming. Having the option to enjoy Bambū's unique drinks makes this location stand out. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and didn't leave a single crumb behind!

It has all the classic ingredients, but it doesn't seem like the authentic Vietnamese dessert. However, it still tasted good and I enjoyed it. I'd say the biggest con was the price, it's pretty expensive. I've never paid this much for Che Ba Mau - coming from a viet person. Service was okay. There's seating and it's decorated nicely. 3.5/5

The flavors were superb and the amount of fresh herbs such as dill were unseen at other places. The broth was perfect and wildly fragrant. Even then, it took us a while to get there, only 9km away. Traffic was brutal! The food, however, was excellent! I had their Bánh Mì Dip, while Mary had their Rare Beef and Beef Balls Pho. She also had something to drink, which she said was very good. I found the dipping broth a bit salty at first, but well balanced when had with the bánh mi. Mary's pho was missing the beef balls but that was soon corrected and she enjoyed it all. Although tiny (cozy), the dining room is very inviting, plus they have a little patio with umbrellas just outside the entrance. We chose to sit inside, avoiding the summer heat and bright sunlight. We enjoyed our meal while the traffic subsided.

I have been wishing to try this place for a long time. Recently I saw IG post showing their Bánh…read moreCanh Cua's generous crab portion.... so I could not wait and here I was today. Unfortunately, server told me that they just ran out of crab so no Bánh Canh Cua that I was looking for, which was understandable as this is apparently a popular item. But I could not believe what the server said next. "So, we use imitation crab instead. Is it ok for you?" Of course not. So I ordered something else. But then, I thought, do they really think that real crab is replaceable by imitation crab? Do they think it is okay? If it is ok for them, to me, it is a huge problem. We ordered: - Vietnamese Beef Carpaccio - Charred Beef Rib (Phở Sườn Bò) - Bún Riêu Beef Carpaccio seems to be another popular item here, but I was disappointed. When I order Carpaccio, I expect ultra-fresh raw beef. Here, they use fully cooked sliced beef. If it is named as "sliced beef salad," then I would have felt this dish to be decently tasty. However, because it is named "Carpaccio", I was disappointed, even felt deceived. Charred Beef Rib's presentation was dramatic, hot soup was poured in to the bowl in front of me. However, I was sad to see that all the rare beef turned fully cooked hard before my very eyes. I should have ordered rare beef on the side. Soup lacked depth, rib meat was hard to separate from the bone, and a bit dry. Holding the hot bone trying hard to bite to separate the meat was very difficult. I also felt odd to see that on the accompanying dish (for fresh veggies toppings) had lemon wedges, not lime. That's another disappointment. Bun Rieu. I stopped eating this halfway. First, I did not feel Crab flavor. There are only 2 small pork meatball with no Crab flavor, just hard pork meatball with excessive black pepper. No piece or trace of Crab. Sausage slices had wrong texture (not smooth). Bone in pork was hard and chewy. It is supposed to be fall-off-the-bone tender. So there was not much to enjoy. I am not sure why this place is so popular and highly rated. May be they are skilled in advertising in social media. Or may be I was just super unlucky :(. Probably I am not returning.
