Service. Food taste. Cleanliness. I keep coming back here because the broth is still the richest and tastiest Pho broth around. You can taste the difference slow cooked (10hrs) broth makes! You know the headache symptoms you get when you eat food filled with MSG? I don't get that here, but I get it at many other Pho places. I will keep coming back for the large Pho, a Banh Mi/Main and an appetizer. Pho Real.

Pho with raw beef and beef brisket
Jessica L.

Pho broth is pretty flavourful. Good quantity of meat but they are very lean so it's a bit tough. We also ordered the vermicelli with spring roll and grilled pork. The spring roll was a bit over fried, and the pork was a piece of thin pork chop cut up. A little dry, but flavour was there. Overall 3.5 stars for the food, but I would add 0.5 as the place was very clean, modern, and service was pretty good.

Delicious shrimp pho - yum yum

The shrimp pho was delicious. It was seriously good. The broth was delicious while the noodles were perfectly cooked. I can't wait to go back for more.

Owners are good , humble conversation but Pho taste could be better ! Frozen grapes were hit to cleanup the after taste of pho. The Pho stock needs more seasoning and flavour . Good luck guys will try back soon !

Pork belly sandwich

Comparing to other pho place, this place is quiet expensive so my first impression wasn't good when I looked at the menu. Menu is very simple, no photos at all. Mango salad- it's so good! They pan fried onion and mix with fish sauce, then mix with the mango. Also come with shrimps too. It's a good beginning Vermicelli- portion is similar to other restaurant. BUT! The beef is different! They actually use tenderloin and it taste good. I can tell why the price here is more expensive. The cost is more expensive, the quality is high Pho- I would say it's over priced because the portion is small, enough for a lady for sure but not for a big man. Could be an L or XL with the same price from another Pho place THE BEST Pork Belly sandwich!! After trying different dishes, I would give it 4/5, but when I had mu first bite of this....I was amazed! The pork belly has skin so it's chewy, with the fat melting in your mouth, and the sandwich is crispy...this is wonderful. I would definitely give it 5/5 for sure and will come back. Must try guys! This sandwich is unbelievable

Seeing the high ratings we decided to try this place Must admit this is one of the most expensive pho's available in GTA Orderd 2 beef brisket pho's Quite steep and tasted average The broth missed the flavours and thought there was less salt in the broth The owner of the restaurant was very polite and hospitable Super excellent service The decor was interesting and loved the Corona with a twist of lime and salt Overall a great experience

Pretty good bowl of pho! Really liked the quality of the beef, very tender and a decent amount can be found in each bowl. Generous amount of broth as well. With that said, price is definitely on the high side as I have not seen a small pho priced at 12$ anywhere else!

Like others have mentioned, this isn't your average pho place which might not be a good thing. It's cleaner and nicer, but the food doesn't match and it's more expensive than your typical pho spot. I had: - Beef Pho: good but lacks the pungent, flavour-packed broth of a place like Pho Tien Tranh - Chicken Fried Rice w/ Salad: the rice was great, but not worth $14. Also, the "green" salad wasn't very green...it came with fruits and I'm not a big fan of sweet and savoury. - Tamarind Chicken Wings: a definite pass. The wings were overcooked and dry.

Khao Soi

Nice little place, with cute decorations and interior design. The staff are very friendly, and patient. When we came there a was a few other people and as we ate dinner, more and more people showed up. I guess we were early. The menu had a wide selection of dishes including clay pots, which I would like to try next time. Didn't try the pho but got the Khao soi and it was not bad. They had the crunchy noodles on top and several toppings including cilantro (generous amounts, which I love), and carrots. The soup was not quite spicy, but did have the coconut flavor. I came in with no expectations, so I wasn't disappointed. Overall 7/10 would recommend if you're in the area and are craving Vietnamese food.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Restaurant was more than half full and I noticed patrons were mostly non-asians. Also noticed the restaurant decor was very nice (more upscale feel) and the place was very clean so maybe that's their niche ? A nice clean "western" appealing pho restaurant. I ordered a large pho and was pleasantly surprised to find its taste was just as good as any other pho restaurant. In comparison to other pho places portion size is smaller and price bit more expensive but the pho is good. If you want to be a bit bougee-r and take your date to a "nicer" pho restaurant with good food, this would be a good pick.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pho restaurant which I just quickly found on Yelp while in the area. The plaza it's in is not the nicest, so I didn't have high expectations. However, the interior was actually quite clean and spacious. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. I had just a regular beef pho and enjoyed it. The broth has a coconut flavour to it which was different. The portion was also good as I got a generous amount of beef. The meal ends with complimentary frozen grapes which was nice and refreshing.

Mango Salad with Sautéed Shrimp
Dario S.

I have been to many Pho restaurants in Vaughan but must say this is one of my favourites in the area. Food was great and staff was very friendly. For appetizer I had the mango salad with sautéed shrimp. It was a decent size portion that is shareable. For my main I had the sautéed beef tenderloin over white rice. The tenderloin had a nice seasoning to it and was excellent. The menu had many options with many interesting combinations that I would be interested in trying. I will definitely go back.

A bit pricey but their foods are fresh and extremely delicious. Love their clay pot dishes, Spicy soup (Bun bo hue) and Banh dap thit nuong.

Ever since I discovered the spicy Curry Brisket Pho ($20.95), it has always been my go-to dish here all year-round. As creamy and thick as the broth appears, the intense Thai coconut curry flavours are perfect to slurp down in this modern fusion dish. We always order Pho Nam (XL $21.50) as well and both come loaded with a heaping portion of brisket slices in the piping hot noodle soup. From time-to-time, we also add the Banh Xeo savoury egg pancake which arrives on a huge plate even larger than the noodle bowls. Presented with a heap of greens & herbs, the crispy golden crepe is light and filled with bits of shrimp, pork, onions & bean sprouts. This is wrapped with the lettuce leaf for crunchy and refreshing bites. The menu prices have slowly but steadily increased over the past couple of years. There is still cash discount available. Not much has changed with the decor over the years in this spacious but dated restaurant interior. Service is always kind, fast and kid-friendly which is nice for young families. Skip it or hit it? I admit we don't visit as often as we used to all factors considered but boy that Curry Brisket Pho is something I crave.

Tips: - This place has weekly specials…read more - When staff messes up your order, they completely own up to it and make sure things get fixed. - This place accepts credit and debit cards, and cash (10% discount on your order). My friend, Chris, suggested that we visit Vietnoms after a Yelp experience that made us crave something more. Luckily, it wasn't too far away. However, it was during rush hour on a Wednesday. We got here separately. This eatery is in a plaza that has a FreshCo anchoring it. The plaza has plenty of parking. I pulled into a spot and met up with Chris. This place has limited spots for dining inside. We had no problem grabbing a table. There is bar seating at the front. This place has a patio. However, it was too hot to sit outside, even with a large patio umbrella at each table. We were greeted and seated promptly. We got menus. This place has its regular menu and off-menu specials. Wow! I remember Crosstown BBQ had a collaboration with Vietnoms. Sadly, I missed it. Chris got these items: - Water - Banh mi dip My order consisted of these items: - Cold tea - Matcha lemonade - Rare beef and beef ball pho (small) I asked how large the large bowl of pho was. He pointed at a man's bowl. It was large, so I went small. The cold tea was refreshing. It came in a teapot. I loved it so much that I poured the remaining tea in my empty cup that once had my matcha lemonade. The drinks here are solid. I loved my matcha lemonade. There was no matcha powder grit in my drink. It was perfectly blended. The lemonade part had lemon preserve, which made it super yummy. I'd get this drink again in a heartbeat. My pho order was messed up. I spent a while trying to find beef balls. I realized that I had rare beef and beef brisket. It was also a large. Chris was the first to point out to our server that I didn't have any beef balls. I fished out the two types of proteins that were in my pho. He was apologetic and wanted to make things right. I frankly wasn't offended by this mistake. The proteins were yummy. The pho was excellent. Although it was a large, I was able to down it. The broth was delicious. Our server came over with a bowl of six beef balls and a lot of green onions in the broth. He apologized again. It was great that this place wanted to make everything right. For someone who wanted a small pho, I ended up with a massive meal. Thank goodness I didn't order an appetizer! I am a beef ball person. The beef balls hit the spot. The extra green onions made me so happy. I loved them. Chris enjoyed his banh mi dip. At first, he felt that the dip part was too salty. However, when we dipped his banh mi halves into it, the broth was fine. I need to get what he got next time. It looked incredible, especially the brisket in the baguette. I used the washroom before I left. It was compact and clean. No issues. We paid at the front counter. I paid with a credit card for both of us, as Chris had cash. I now have a running tab to pay him back. This place was awesome and a great suggestion. I suspect that dining here on a weekend would be difficult because it's such a small indoor dining area with limited seating. We came on a weeknight at nearly 6 pm and it was perfect. I'd return to get more good eats. It's an awesome addition to this plaza. (342)

Vietnoms is a restaurant I've had bookmarked for a while because of its high ratings. It's located…read morein a relatively small plaza, but there's plenty of free parking available. The restaurant itself is fairly small. There's a takeout section at the front, followed by bar-style seating along the kitchen and another dining area that can fit around 15 to 25 people. I came here as a group of 2. We arrived around 8 PM, so it wasn't too busy. They provide two menus, a regular menu and an off-menu menu. They also have a decent selection of caffeinated drinks. Water is provided, and you can request tea, similar to what you'd find at other Vietnamese restaurants. Pho came with thai basil, beansprouts and lemons rather than lime. We tried the Crab Deep-Fried Spring Rolls ($9), which were $1 more than the regular spring rolls. They came in a different shape than usual, more like pockets cut in half into four triangular pieces. They were fried very well, crispy, and tasty but neither of us really tasted any crab. I ordered the Charred Beef Rib Pho ($24.50), which was about $5 more than a large regular menu pho. The broth was okay, but it was on the sweeter side. The beef rib itself was quite small with not much meat, and it wasn't fall off the bone tender either, which was disappointing. Flavors were mediocre. The other beef slices were average, so overall, nothing particularly stood out about the pho. Service was mediocre throughout our visit because of missed menu notes and we noticed it happened at another table too. The spring rolls were good, but the pho was underwhelming, especially considering the price. Overall, I'm glad I gave it a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Cash has a 5% discount.
