Ordered the seafood pho n it was so bland it tasted just like hot water also ordered egg rolls n they were under cooked. Never again!

Took a stroll during lunch rush to find Pho Queen quiet and empty with just one table of customers. Waited around for a couple of minutes before the staff showed up to greet us and let us know we can choose any table. Ordered a regular of the pho noodle soup #10 with spring rolls. The spring rolls consisted of shrimp and pork. It tasted like what you'll find at any Viet restaurant. I would prefer to have my spring rolls with only shrimp though. The peanut/hoisin dipping sauce was lacking peanut butter taste. The pho was decent. We were slightly taken aback by the sheer fact that the herbs plate didn't accompany our pho. We had to request for it. My husband wasn't satisfied with the pho. There were a couple pieces of tendon that tasted somewhat overdue. My bowl was okay. Just wish the noodles didn't come in a big glob like it was sitting around waiting to be brought out upon a customer's order. Service was quick and friendly and it was nice and quiet. Would I go back? Probably not. There's better options within a 5-mi radius. But to each their own. read more

Great pho in Pleasanton. I didn't realize how hard it would be to find decent pho. We got a regular size chicken pho and a large pho with rare steak, tendon, and tripe. The size difference between regular and large was surprising. The regular looks smaller than other pho places but it's jam packed with noodles and chicken so I'm glad I didn't go one size up. The flavors were good and well seasoned. The place itself was empty when we went in but quickly filled up with a few more tables. Service was great. We'll be coming back again soon. read more

Came back again for some pho and egg rolls and I was a bit disappointed. Service was very slow and they forgot about our crispy egg rolls. We were almost finished with the pho noodles and had to wave them down to check on our egg rolls. I noticed the table behind us had the same issue...they didn't get their egg rolls until the end. The rare steak in our pho was really tough and overcooked. But they give a pretty good amount of portion. There wasn't really any service provided besides taking our order. There were only two waiters working but they were mainly focused on a larger party that came in. We noticed on the website that they had a 10% coupon if you sign up. We ordered the shrimp vermicelli, veg egg roll, veg pho, chicken pho and the beef pho (# 1 on their menu). Every dish was tasty and the broths flavorful. Was craving some Pho on a dark rainy night, and this place popped up as near where I was. Their direct online ordering for pick up was a little confusing, so found them on Doordash for in-store pickup. The menu there was clearer and easier for me to select items so I did it there instead. The portions were good sized and they provided plenty of fresh veg condiments for the Pho. We were happy with our choice, we'll be back. I had the best pho I have had in two years! I moved back from new york and I have been craving good pho. Service was great and I got my spring rolls and pho quickly during lunch time. The portions were very large and there was plenty of rare steak in my large pho. The spring rolls and other produce was also very fresh. When I was ready to leave they packed up everything for me and even made an extra effort to keep my spring rolls fresh by rolling them in cling wrap. It worked because this morning the rice paper on my spring rolls was still soft! I saw some reviews stating the prices were a little higher but sometimes in life we get what we pay for. Some of the tastiest pho I've ever had. The broth is extremely flavorful without any additions.

Went here for their grand opening (they'd been open for more than a week already) and they ran out of a lot of food items, including grilled pork banh mi, combination cold cuts banh mi, and beef ribs in the combination pho. The waiter had odd humor, as he was stereotyping people I dined with based on their race. I won't go too much into detail but he was laughing and making jokes and we just played it off as we didn't want to cause a scene with many people there. The pho was supposed to come with beef rib but the waiter said they ran out and compensated by putting more meat in the soup. It didn't look like more meat than what I usually get at other pho places. The broth was sweet and tasted like instant broth seasoning was used. I enjoyed the spring rolls the most. I also had the grilled chicken banh mi to go and ate it the next day and it was still good.
