Yes! I agree with all the other reviews. Yesterday I ate the pho and the broth was flavorful and delicious. Server was very nice and tentative. I wasn't ignored or bothered the whole time. Whatever I wanted, the server was available. I hope they keep up the great food and service! read more

First time visiting to this new Pho place today after seeing all the many great reviews. I got quite disappointed with the expectations. The Chicken Pho base didn't have any chicken taste and the spring roll was tasteless as well. I understand there's no msg but I didn't find anything special compared to other Pho noodle places. Initially I saw a picture of the chicken in whole pieces which drew me to this place. The soup base should have some chicken taste. Maybe good for low-salt tasteless dining. The chicken pho extra large was slicked very thing sizes and it's half the size compared to other Pho noodle places nearby. I have to admit that they gave lots of noodles but for $20 that's just isn't what I was expecting. Service was reasonable but they never asked how's the food till payment time. The environment is the old Korean restaurant location with a quiet atmosphere. I think I'll go try another Pho place instead. I'm not recommending this place. read more

This place sure is the queen of pho! We dined in and the pho was delicious!!! The broth isn't watered down or full of msg leaving you thirsty AF. Every bite was so delicious. I killed my large and probably could have eaten an XL. Yes I am one hungry gal. We ordered 3 Pho bowls and one chicken pho. I would skip the chicken pho and go for the regular ones or their signature pho. The meat was fall off the bone tender. The restaurant is clean and staff are friendly. Give this place a try! We called ahead for our order and for some reason it wasn't there when we got there. Basically had to wait a standard time for it to come out (makes us think they forgot it). But somehow the soup base wasn't very hot at all so we had to reheat it. Outside of that the food itself was great. They add in these ribs for the combination pho which was a welcome addition. It was our second time at Pho Queen in Pleasanton. The first time was the soft opening when they were just getting settled in. The food was very good, but the service was lacking. Stacking up plates in front of me and I had to pass them around to our other guests at the table. When the food arrived it was just put in the middle and we had to pass it around to the appropriate person. Again... food was very tasty! We just returned in hopes of better service. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. I said I did not need utensils and that chop sticks are fine . He asked me that several times. I continued to refuse , yet he brought me a fork. No problem, but please listen to the customer. Warm tea again, plates stacked up in front of me, again... having to pass the around. The other staff ( a woman) was so kind and thoughtful, making sure our meal was good. Again, food was delicious. Best pho around. This was a hidden gem. I stumbled upon this place by, Yelp, you guessed it. ;) anyways. Decided to save a trip from driving out to San Jose where I know most of their Pho places are good. But to drive 30 minutes and fight for parking, let's give this local place a try. Customer service was friendly. Food was brought out in a timely manner after placing order. Place was clean. I ordered the small bowl of pho dac biet (combination). It did not disappoint. Check it out. They served it with a beef rib in its own broth!!! Clean and new Vietnamese place in Pleasanton. The food is fresh and they do try to make it great but it falls short. The vermicelli in the shrimp and chicken plate and spring roll plate we got was extremely overcooked. The shrimp was flat and lacking in flavor and had a lot of grill residue still on it. In the Bay Area, it is hard to find fantastic and authentic vietnamese food unless you're in San Jose. This is the first place that is so top notch in pho to me, it's super close to what my mother makes. The sandwiches are also real and great, with the pate, and they actually use headcheese, which you rarely see! Yay! read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time and feel very underwhelmed. We attempt to have Pho once a week and have lived in the area for 17 years. The service was friendly and prompt, the atmostphere very calm and quiet, but the food and cost was the main dissappointment. We felt the broth lacked depth and was overly salty, the meat did't seem to be quality, and the egg rolls seemed chewy and old. The cost was a bit excessive as we pay 25% less at other Pho places in the Tri-Valley. read more

Hallelujah, we have a newish pho restaurant in the tri-valley! We came by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how good Pho Queen was. The restaurant itself is roomy and clean with minimal decor. They have lots of tables to accommodate 4-6 people, and can easily combine tables to make room for more. Their menu is quite simple with pho as their main specialty along with banh mi sandwiches, vermicelli, and rice dishes. I'm a bún bò huế type of gal and since they don't have that on their menu, I ordered #4 which has rare steak and fatty brisket. My boyfriend ordered the #1 house special with the beef rib. The beef broth was extremely flavorful with the portion size hard to beat. The noodles was cooked to perfection and not mushy at all. My only complaint was the food did took a bit of time to come out, but it was a busy lunch for them and they did apologize for the delay. Also, their Vietnamese coffee ranges from how strong you want your coffee! I went with the signature coffee and it was quite strong as it is. I can't imagine how the bac siu is (maybe I'll try it before I head to the outlets and fight the holiday crowd). Friendly service with good value. Ate here for the first time when I returned to my hometown and noticed a new restaurant. Friends and I often visit pho restaurants , and thought we would take a chance on this one. So happy that we did! Five of us agreed it was probably the best pho we've ever had. No need to leave town for pho anymore! Great service, the owner even came out and chatted with us when she stopped by the table to make sure everything was pleasing. I have been waiting for a decent pho place in Pleasanton for a long time. When Pho Queen opened I was really excited. The food was excellent, especially the #1 Special Pho. My gripe with this place is obvious not the food but the service. They are woefully short-handed to the point that a simple bowl of Pho took over 40 minutes. There were so many tables waiting to order that the server couldn't keep track who sat down first. One thing that really irritated me was when a table that came after us got served before us. I would've given this place 4 or 5 stars if the service were better. I don't think we will return for a while. read more

A must try restaurant! Just to set the table, we came in with a party of seven, four of our party being toddlers! We were being ambitious, we were quickly seated with high chairs and all.
