So I came here based off the reviews and I'm pretty disappointed. I ordered the half spring rolls and they were decent. The peanut sauce was good. then I ordered chicken pho small. It said it was white meat only. Nope. It was mixed and there was hardly any chicken in the pho. The next big disappointment was that it came with beef broth as opposed to chicken. I think they need to simply take this item off the menu since it's apparent they focus on beef pho only. The basil also had brown spots all over it so you could tell it wasn't fresh. So basically it was beef broth with noodles. Last but not least service. So so so so so terrible. The waitress took my order, someone else brought it out, and then I never saw her again. She didn't ask how my food was, if I needed anything else to drink, or anything. So if you are looking for terrible service and beef broth with noodles, then this is your place to come to. Otherwise, there's a pho place just up north from here by target that is much much much better! read more

Stopped by to give the pho a try since you might be able to find a gem in a shady plaza. The pho here for $11-13bucks is just ehhh, broth seemed to be watered down a bit but they do give a good amount of meat. Overall, no wow factor and I probably won't comeback for Pho. We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant since it opened a few years ago. The food has always been really good. Very nice atmosphere and nice clean surroundings. Current owners are terrific always making us feel welcome. They offer good service, great food, and a personal friendly experience. We come to the restaurant often because the food is very well prepared, the servers are quick and very polite, and the quality never disappoints. If you'd like a nice casual experience with great dishes to choose from then this restaurant should be first on your list. Glad there are still places where the customer always comes first. So finally there's an authentic Vietnamese restaurant here that isn't bad! I was a little weirded out by the name but craving some Vietnamese food. I came here with my mother and brother and ordered the following: Spring rolls Pork banh mi sandwich Bo luc lac Mien ga Viet iced coffee Thai tea with tapioca Spring rolls we're good. Very simple and typical spring rolls that you'd get anywhere. Can't really go wrong. It came with pork slices and shrimp. 5/5 Banh mi had lots of flavor. The bread is good. Good amount of veggies. It was in line with th other banh mi I've had before. There's nothing special, but if in craving a sandwich, I'd go here. 4/5 Bo luc lac AKA Shaking beef is good. It came with fried rice and a salt, pepper, like saucer to dip your meat in. Not that tender, but decent dish. 4/5 Mien ga is equivalent to chicken noodle soup with clear thin noodles. It's very clean and fresh tasting. The broth was very flavorful. Noodles were a bit over cooked in my opinion. 4/5 Coffee is 4/5 Thai tea was a 1/5. Tastes super artificial and it was not good. I would never recommend anyone to get this. Overall, nice people but I would like it if they cleared off the table after finishing. It would've given us more space. read more

This is a decent Vietnamese restaurant. There's lots of Vietnamese restaurants in this area popping up, I'd say that this one is comparable to the rest of them. I did order to go and it was a bit of a struggle to place the order with them because of language barrier, but I will also contribute that to the fact that they newly opened and might not have settled down with taking to go orders. I got the #30 and #45. Noodles were a bit harder consistency than I would have wanted for my dish and the shrimp cake was a lot smaller than I was expecting from other photos. It's a very thin layer akin to the size of a slice of bread (maybe a little smaller) and a bit greasy. I also got their avocado smoothie because they were out of the #76 drink I wanted to try. It was a good creamy consistency without being overly sweet. Service is 100% very great and nice people. One thing that might deter people is the $8 minimum for credit card. I didn't have that problem though, a lot of the stuff on their menu will be over $8 unless you only get appetizers. read more

I am so disappointed with this place. Today I ordered a vermicelli bowl (noodles) with chicken, through uber eats. When the food arrived they had my order all wrong and instead gave me rice with chicken. My husband thought he could call to get them rectify the situation, but instead Dan the guy who answered the phone asked if I had ate any. I said no, then he tells me the rice taste the same as the noodles! What?? Are you serious? So my husband tells him that I didn't want rice and that if it's ok, I will pick up a fresh one the following day since it's so late (hence the reason we ordered in) but he says that instead of giving me what I ordered that he would just give me more chicken the next time I order food!!! What kind of solution is that? To top it off he kept asking if I had eaten anything and he told me to bring the untouched food to his manager the following day?!? I was so done! Thankfully Uber just refunded my money, when I sent them pictures of what they gave me! I recommend this to phô lovers! This is a great local phô spot. The broth is hot, savory and the meat is super quality. I randomly tried this place. The bhan mi was very delicious. Bread was nice and soft and nicely warmed and not too toasted. And the grilled chicken was very well cooked and very delightful too eat. So after our regular pho restaurant closed we had to find a new one to replace it, after driving around for a few minutes I found this place on Yelp I said let's give this place a try. Once we talk in to the restaurant it's the type you choose where you want to sit. Me and my wife were both feeling under the weather so we ordered the large pho with extra beef along with a order of Vietnamese egg rolls. The off rolls were crispy and delicious and packed with flavor but before we finished our egg rolls the pho was already on our table within 10 minutes. The pho here is very good and the broth came out piping hot but that's how I like it. All kidding aside, my meal at Pho Q Long (say that 3 or 4 times in a row... yeah... ) was about average. It was good, but not any better than the other 700 pho places I've been to in Houston and Southern Cali. I tried the pho bo kho and the broth was not as red as what I am used to. It was good and the meat was tender, but could have used a bit more seasoning. The cafe sua da was good;same as any other. The customer service was quiet nice! They all seem to understand the foley of the restaurant's name and were fast and polite. If I am ever near this area and someone wants to come here I'd be down to check it out again, but there are so many pho places at the same level or higher in Houston so I would not go out of my way. read more

Ordered and delivered via uber eats and no meatballs. Called the restaurant, and they said they can't do anything. Basically said "pho q." Terrible customer service. Pho wasn't worth it. Even paid extra to order larges, and the amount of meat/noodles was less than some regular sized pho bowls in Houston. Never again. This was my second time coming to this establishment. I did not like it. The spoons were dirty and then when we got our Vietnamese egg rolls there was a piece of hair stuck to the plate. Wow! Went in for lunch today during the grand opening and it was pho-kin' delicious. So good it needed the played out pun because so, so true. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and chicken pho. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the rice paper wasn't dry or too thick. Pho tasted perfect with the flavorful broth and chicken was tender. I'm glad I found a place near my house so I can avoid the lines and drivers in Bellaire! Will definitely be back soon :) read more
