Only suggestion I'd add is that the food tasted like it's been left out for the day and the ingredients tasted a week or two old. I'm really not sure what to think of this place by both the food and the building. I left confused more than anything. The location makes it nice. Ample parking, accessible and not difficult to find. The interior was a little puzzling. It's very minimalist with a bunch of Japanese artwork on the wall. Why? I have no clue. I guess every Asian is Japanese in Utah. My first look at the menu was a little disheartening. Coming from an area of unlimited Vietnamese food places and varieties of dishes within the scope of Vietnamese culture, my choices were almost non existent. I was taught by both my ch and ban gai that only white people eat pho at a Vietnamese restaurant. This place was exactly that. The number of Vietnamese dishes were easily counted on both hands, one hand if you group the pho together. They had Thai and Chinese dishes, I'm confused. I thought this was a Vietnamese place? As for the pho I ordered, I got the seafood bowl just to test the waters. I was expecting fish cakes or a fish ball but ended up with only octopus chunks, oysters and a sprinkling of shrimp. I'll overlook this due to being in Utah. The broth was pretty good. Not the most flavourful I've had but then again white people hate fish sauce and Utah is nothing but that. The service was another interesting thing here. They started dinner with one person working the front. One person tending shop, staying true to Viet culture haha. Good intentions on the servers part but service was stretched way too thin because of this. By the time we finished our food they had another staff member helping. Maybe I'm too cynical or have to high expectations but I'm not sure if I'd eat here on a regular. I wandered in with no expectations, and boy was I surprised! The place was packed, save just enough room for me and my party. There was one server, but she was working like Paul Bunyan hacking though Oregon. We quizzed her on what the stuff was other people were eating, and she got all the answers right! I ordered Yakisoba (Japanese), and my friends Pho (Vietnamese), Singapore Noodles (Singapore and curry), and a Korean BBQ (Korea). Where in Asia Major are we? Despite the geographical confusion, best noodles in Utah County. The overworked server was quick, attentive, and friendly in a frazzled sort of way. (They have one of those fancy mini-waterfall faucets in the bathroom and the Sriracha comes in an unlabeled, red bottle.) I ordered a large pho with steak, $9.64 with tax. This was authentic pho: huge bowl; good, thin meat; sides of bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil, and lime; and nothing weird like carrots which you get some places. They had heavy, plastic chopsticks, not the cheap, disposable, wooden ones. This isn't the best pho I've had, but it was good. Service was excellent -- very fast both taking my order and bringing the food. Friendly and engaged. And I was able to pay table-side with Square. We had barely walked through the door when one of the waitresses had us at a table with menus in our hand. The pho (brisket and meatballs, #7) was out fast, and was so delicious. Pretty good Pho. I was surprised that Provo had a place like this. When we first were seated we felt like we were getting the authentic experience. No one came back to take our order for almost ten minutes. Their were only two other tables there. I was starting to get pretty upset and then some one came over and took our order. After that the food was out in about 3 minutes. So my initial complaint was remedied by how fast they got the food out. The large Pho bowl is quite big (and good tasting too). Although I did manage to eat the whole thing, I think I would have been fine with the regular size. As far as the actual taste of the food, it was good. We went on a Friday night so we figured it would be busy, but not "wait for your water for 20 minutes" busy. They had two servers on the floor and our server kept apologizing and we were understanding, but after what seemed the 50th "sorry" I was getting annoyed. (I'm not as nice as my husband). When our food finally came after what seemed an hour we were satisfied. Just satisfied. I would come again for lunch or on a day where I'm really craving a bowl of pho. We (group of 4) were able to get a sit by the front door pretty quickly, but it took us almost 15 minutes to waive down staff. I had to go grab our own menus. Finally able to get another staff member to take our order, who estimated food would be about in 20-25 minutes. 30 minutes later - we asked for an update and they quoted us another 20 minutes. We came to Pho Plus wanting some pho on a rainy day. And the pho did not disappoint. Maybe more impressive than the Pho though was the Vermicelli noodles with pork and grated carrots, cucumber, and a sweet sauce. Definitely would recommend giving that a shot. Growing up in Orange County, which has a large Vietnamese population, I ate many bowls of pho, both at restaurants and at my Vietnamese friends' homes. To me, it's the ultimate comfort food. And Pho Plus makes the best I've had in Utah. It's rich and flavorful, the meat in it is good and thinly sliced, and it's served with big portions of all the authentic condiments. As soon as you open the door, a delicious -- but not overwhelming -- aroma of ginger and cardamom invites you in. The decor is sleek and modern, and everything is well maintained and clean. (The bathrooms are gorgeous. They even have those fancy mini-waterfall faucets.) It's usually pretty quiet, even when there are a lot of people eating there, which gives a sense of privacy. This place is great for a nice lunch or a dinner date. I think they're closed from 2:30-5:30, so you can't get a late lunch or early dinner. There's usually only one person working at a time, and the food tends to take awhile to arrive after ordering. But I've never had a problem with waiting and chatting. Last time we were there, I mentioned that we were in a hurry, and my pho came out within 5 minutes! So you may want to consider trying that if you don't want to wait. A huge ("regular size") bowl of pho with steak is $7-8. I'm never able to finish the whole thing. All things considered, the price is pretty great. read more

The bowls are GIGANTIC. Seriously. If a large doesn't fill you up... You got issues... It's pretty standard boba. If you're serious about boba I would recommend a boba house. The ambience and dining room are definitely nicer than other Vietnamese places in the valley, a good place if you have a date. The serving sizes are outstanding and the flavor was really nice, what I didn't like was the noodles weren't cooked by the time they got to me so I had to wait before I could enjoy.
