    Everything was Yum.

I was worried that the food would be flat and buffet-ish. But it was fresh! Yummy and also a fun experience! Great for a group--you'll eat more than you think you will.

This was my first time here, and I loved it!! The hot pots were such a fun and unique experience, and all of the food was delicious! I enjoyed the wagyu, ramen noodles, and all the veggies! Eating it with the tonkatsu broth was great, but I also loved dipping it in the sesame and teriyaki sauce. So many different ways to experience it! The cream cheese wontons were also a hit. The appetizers are included in the all you can eat price, so try them! The big downside to Mr. Shabu is that it's so expensive. I would come back all the time if it weren't for the price. You have to do "all-you-can-eat" for the hot pots, and it costs over $30 per person. Because of that, I probably won't return anytime soon and it makes me very sad.

We'd been to the SLC location once before and decided to come here for my husband's birthday lunch. We loved it! Even my picky dad was happy. The meat was good quality, the buffet area was clean and well-stocked, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend the galbi broth, that was the most delicious broth I've had at a shabu spot in a while. I was also impressed with their sauces. The Korean style sauce was quite delicious.

My husband and I wanted to try a restaurant we had never been to before and we decided on this place. I loved it! It was all you can eat. We got unlimited appetizers too. My favorite was the cream cheese wontons. We ended up getting 2 orders of those because they were so delicious. We also got the gyoza which was good. Our toddler was with us and she loved the Rosemary fries! The ramen was delicious! You can choose your broth, noodles, meat and veggies for your ramen! Such a fun and delicious place!

Best sushi in town, I had an amazing dining experience at Mr. Shabu Sushi! The quality of the food was top-notch, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The all-you-can-eat setup is perfect for trying a variety of dishes, and every bite was delicious. The sushi was fresh and expertly rolled, and the hot pot options were plentiful and satisfying. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and welcoming. It is great for a date night or a group outing. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family. Worth every penny!

Amazing Experience at Mr Shabu! Incredible fresh meats, rich broths, and endless veggies make this the best shabu-shabu spot around. The all-you-can-eat setup never sacrifices quality, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Javi is one of the best servers there! Sushi is amazing as well!

Mr. Shabu is absolutely delicious and a must try! The service was outstanding. Our waiter was attentive and had great recommendations on how to choose a broth, meats, veggies, and other foods. The appetizers were a little cold unfortunately but still tasty. Just wish they were hot/warm. The broths were all delicious and super flavorful. I loved how many options for veggies, noodles, seafood, sauces, toppings, etc. they had. It was well stocked and clean. The best meat was the brisket and the wagyu. All were so tender. Loved dipping the meat into the miso or sesame sauces too. I cannot wait to come back. It was delicious and I was so impressed.

Mr. Shabu is the BEST! A lot of places that offer multiple "all-you-can-eat" menus have a policy that the ENTIRE table needs to have the same menu (for example: if one person wants all-you-can-eat hotpot, the entire party can only have the hot pot menu) My husband prefers hot pot and I prefer sushi so I LOVE that if your party is doing the "all-you-can-eat" each person at your table can choose if they want the hotpot menu OR the sushi menu, so everyone is happy! There are negative reviews on Yelp about the sushi/fish quality which is unfortunate! I'm Pacific Islander and my husband is Japanese, we were both pleasantly surprised that the overall food quality was delicious! I loved the Lemon Salmon Nigiri, Salmon Sashimi Carpaccio, and Sunset Signature Roll. The menu selections have a great variety, meat/sushi quality is delicious, facility is clean, staff are attentive.. Mr. Shabu is definitely that best restaurant in Orem!

Is Mr.shabu good at seating for one? I would love to dine-in the hotpot for my birthday but don't want to be strangely sat alone at a large table.

There are several smaller tables there as well, so you should be fine.

What we ordered: Beef & pork bulgogi, shrimp, kimchi, vegetable pancake, noodles, gochujang, cucumber kimchi, potato dish, vegetables and tteokbokki. As we are very familiar with Korean food, the dumbed down-Americanized menu was a bit confusing. For example; japchae is just listed as "noodles" where some of the dishes were listed with Korean names. It would be helpful to list both. There also should be an indication for spice levels, like adding a chili pepper next to tteokbokki. We really enjoyed the food we ordered. Our favorite was the tteokbokki. Our least favorite was their version of japchae (it wasn't sweet and only came with onions.)

So far we've come twice and the second time we got there a little late (came from slc) and they let us stay and cook and eat even after closing and we were so grateful. Service can be a bit slow but she one server is sooo nice. I think it's only one server/hostess and one cook. It's definitely worth it. We love the japchae, the kimchi, the potatoes and ofc the meats. I'm picky about how sweet meat marinades can get but their short ribs are probably one of my favorites I've ever had. The other time we came it was on a weekday and it was us and one other family so I hope that this place gets as busy and popular as some other overhyped ones in the area

When my roommate suggested we go here for dinner though it sounded so good! The food is comforting, the vibes are relaxed and quiet, and that was exactly what I needed after a long week. Even both dining experiences were a year apart - they have been consistent. I got the beef teriyaki and shrimp tempura which came with rice, miso soup, and a salad. Plenty of food. We also got an appetizer of fried gyoza which was maybe my favorite part of the meal. The service is fast and had good pacing with the several different dishes we got. They're hung low so if you don't watch where you're walking you might bump into them with your head.
