So here's the thing, I feel lucky that I have a place to get bahn mi in Provo, as well as boba smoothies, but there are a few shortcuts that this establishment is taking that I just don't appreciate. They are easy fixes, however! So if you own this business, take note. First, the bahn mi has mostly good ingredients, but the bread is of noticeably low quality, that the sandwich could not reach its full potential. Please find a bread that is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside (like a real French baguette) and it will make a world of difference. The meat and fillings were great in my honey glazed pork sandwich. Next, simply take the time to blend the smoothies a bit more. There were huge chunks of ice in mine, and while I'm okay chewing on boba, I should not be chewing anything else. My taro smoothie was otherwise delicious. I'd eat here all the time if I knew that every measure was taken to provide the most quality in the food. But at this point I am not really willing to return to a restaurant that takes my money and provides not much in return. Pho plus you can do better! read more

This is my family's go-to Pho spot. Love the steak pho. The menus are a little confusing--some "meals" are numbered and some aren't, and the staff refers to them in Numbers. If you ask for extra limes or basil, though, be prepared to keep asking for extra because they often bring you just one extra lime or one extra sprig of basil. I guess all of this probably warrants 3 stars, but the pho is SO good that it ups my review to 4 stars. read more

I have unusually high expectations for noodles. For Utah, I'm sure this place is deservedly 4+ stars however I am a snobby californian foodie, and well this place just wasn't cuttin' it. The first indication that I wasn't going to like the pho here was the fact that the menu had a smorgasboard of non-vietnamese options (ramen, korean bbq, stir-fry etc.) The second had to do with the limited number of options for my pho.. I think there were 5-7 options. And then I just tasted the stuff and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't very good either. Bleh....meh I came here with low expectation since it's a Korean owned pho place and even my expectation was not met. The Pho: It's not horrible but I wouldn't say it's good. Average amount of noodles that was cooked to the right chewiness but the broth was not right....it's a bit too salty and it lacked complexity. Also, did they forget to add the rest of the meat or does their large pho really comes with 2 or 3 tiny meat pieces? Their veggie plate: They only give you lime, sprouts, and basil, in very stingy amounts. When will restaurants realize that the quality of the pho depends largely on a huge amount of fresh sprouts, basil, culantro (most pho places here don't even give you this), cilantro, and green onion. Skip this place and drive yourself to Asia Palace in West Valley for your share of pho. They serve up heavenly broth and their pho always comes with plenty of fresh veggies. But if you are shy from the 35 minute drive, hit up Pho Tam on Orem Center Street, it's a new restaurant and is somewhat hidden, but don't let that fool you, they know what they are doing and their pho is excellent. read more

Yum, yum, yum!! Cold day, warm pho...perfect lunch. Walked in at noon and the place was packed, it emptied out over the next hour and half while I slurped deliciousness. The noodles had great texture, I had the brisket soup which was flavored just right. Apparently they are opening another more upscale spot down the road in Provo. First off. Fairly decent pho... They skipped the cilantro on my dish, but overall good. A misconception I had was that this was a Vietnamese restaurant, and it's not. It's a noodle house (it says it right there in the restaurant name). There is an odd assortment of different noodle dishes including Japanese dishes (not raamen unfortunately). Took my family to eat Pho for the first time and I was very impressed! Tasted a lot like the Pho I had back in Denver and they had Boba drinks! Their menu had all the choices you would expect at a great Pho location. Tripe, tendon and other various meat parts that add to the texture and taste of the soup ;) A little pricer than other Pho places I've been, but well worth it. Only had two bowl size choices, as opposed to the normal three from what I recall. Everything was fresh, the broth was well done and I would for sure go back! I have been eating at Pho Plus for about a year. The very best thing they serve there is the number 8. Which includes beef, flank and something else. I love adding in the veggies and a little bit at a time so I can layer the flavors. Seriously it is amazing! They also now have popping boba and it makes my heart happy any flavor is good I always ask my server which one they like. Pho is even good in the summer and seriously is always the pick me up I need after a long day. Thanks for always having good customer service! read more

It was my husband and i's first time getting pho today. We both went with the #8 (steak, brisket and flank) and we got the shrimp wontons to start. I was extremely disappointed in the shrimp wontons. 4 out of the 5 were cooked all the way through. 1 of them was still frozen :/, there also was one little shrimp per wonton wrapper. The dipping sauce was great. But the wontons themselves were NOT worth $6.95! The pho was delicious, we both got the large so we would have done to take home for leftovers (no regrets there! For only $1.60 more it's worth it in my opinion) My only complaint about the pho was the meat. It was pretty dry and my husband had a ton of fatty pieces. The broth and the noodles were delicious!!! Seriously considering next time doing straight noodles and broth over meat! Last but not least, the customer service was not the greatest, we came in and waited for several minutes before being seated then when someone was finally ready to seat us a couple had come in quite a bit after us and the waitress literally skipped over us and went straight to them. Thankfully the couple said we were in front of them and were super great about it. The waitress then took us to our table, didn't give us a chance to ask for a high chair or offer us a high chair (we have a 2 year old) before she took off. She came back, gave us waters and asked if we were ready to order. We had literally just sat down after getting a high chair ourselves. They never once stopped and asked how everything was or if we wanted desserts or anything. The waitress instantly gave us our check and I had to request to go containers for the rest of our foods, which kind of came off as we were inconveniencing her. Over all. The food is worth it. We will be getting the pho again but probably as a to go order instead. read more

I came here b/c of the four-star rating on Yelp and I was definitely disappointed. We had pho and BBQ Chicken over rice. The soup was very salty with no flavor and the BBQ chicken tasted like it was cooked yesterday, very dry and chewy. The waitress never came to ask how the food was. My wife and I were in the area and wanted a quick grub and accidentally found Pho Plus. The place smells good and you'll start to salivate the moment you enter and smell the fragrance of their soup base flavors. We ordered summer roll for starter and I thought it's totally different from the once we've eaten before. I actually not a fan simply because it had more vegetable leaves and less of the shrimp plus the fact that I was looking for the chewiness of the noodles that I normally had from other fresh spring rolls. However, my wife loves them and she thinks it's one of the best she had. We never really ordered anything other than their Pho. I ordered their mixed meats and my wife had their seafood. My Pho tastes good while my wife's a little bland. Maybe it's because it's seafood and it had different flavor vs meat. I recommend sticking with the meat Pho. Unfortunately, we have a Pho in near our place that has become one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Pho Plus will definitely be one of the place we'll consider if ever we'll be in Orem. read more

My wife was craving some noodles so after much yelp reasearch we decided to load the little one into the car and head up to Orem for some Pho. To start off we had a little problem finding the place it's sign was not well lighted and it seems to be hiding when approaching from the south. Even with turn by turn directions we managed to overshoot it and ended up in the pioneer books parking lot. Once we did figure out where we were going we were pleasantly surprised. The owners have managed to make the little place very inviting and we thought the atmosphere was great. The waiter/host was also very friendly and helped us feel right at home. Neither my wife nor I are expert Pho eaters, this was my 3rd experience and her first. She ordered the seafood, and I ordered the large combo beef (steak, tendon, tripe). The waiter gave us some tips on what to add and explained the sauces and we were off. The food was above average, but the portions were HUGE, when we will be sure not to order the large. The prices were also very reasonable, coming in under $25 after tip. Overall this was a great meal for a great price, and we certainly be back soon. read more

This place has the best spring rolls I have ever had! Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. I've never had Vietnamese food before but if it's like what I had, then I'm a fan. I liked my wife's meal (spicy orange chicken) a little better than mine (BBQ pork, shrimp and egg roll on noodles). I wasn't a huge fan of the sprouts on my dish (a bit bitter, but I've never liked sprouts). Next time I will order my BBQ pork and shrimp on rice instead of the noodles. It was really busy when we got there and they did not have a hostess so we stood there awkwardly until deciding to sit at the bar to wait which is when someone finally paid attention to us and brought us some drinks. The pho here is awesome! As expected from a restaurant called Pho Plus. The meat is tender, the broth savory, and the noodles soft. The typical complimentary basil, bean sprouts, and jalapenos are fresh and crispy. The portions are at the standard of most pho restaurants. However, I should note that this business does put the controversial food additive, MSG, into its pho. Although I, personally, do not have a problem with it. I understand that there are some who are allergic to it. I do appreciate the honesty of the business owners, and, likewise, the service is wonderful. read more

My sister and I were visiting Provo for the evening and decided to grab some takeout from here. I got the chicken pho and my sister got steak and tofu pho. The service was very quick and friendly (we called to place our order and arrived about 3 minutes later. We only had to wait an additional 5 minutes for our food). The portion size for the regular is quite large. The add-ins come on the side so you can add what you like. My chicken was pretty dry, even after sitting in the broth for quite some time. I really like Pho Plus. They have really delicious broth. I would like to see a little more meat in their Pho. Sometimes they don't bring out enough of the add ins and we have to ask for more. I would've given more stars because the pho is actually really delicious. However the dining room is cold and the tables are dirty at least every other time I visit this place. I've been to this place about 6 times so far and the dining room is always needing attention. This last visit there were only 2 customers in the dining room and NO clean tables. I asked to have a table cleaned so he cleaned the table near the kitchen door. When I asked to sit somewhere else he argued with me.
