I have been eating here since i moved down for college. The Pho had the most authentic taste I've found in all of Utah County. Portions are good sized and it usually comes out really quick. The Rice bowls and Noodles dishes are also really good and offer something with low sodium and with a little more vegetables. They offer vegetarian options as well and you can sub fried or non fried tofu for any of the meats. read more

"Best pho in Utah Valley." Yeah. Okay, that's an understatement. I've lived all over the US, in more than a few very large cities, and I can tell you that Pho Plus ranks among some of the best I've had. Seriously, right here in Orem, Utah. The broth, the main part of the soup, the main reason you get Vietnamese, is perfect. The flavor of anise is superb; everything is fresh, and tastes fresh. As customary for pho, they bring a tray out of vegetables; I've been in some places wherein the bean sprouts looked as if they'd been sitting in the sun all day long, and I'd sooner throw them away than put them in my mouth. Everything here looked and tasted great. While I'm on the subject of the vegetable tray, I would like to voice a minor complaint: when two people order pho, don't bring out one tray for the both of us to share. That's not too cool, as we've both rightfully paid for our own tray (not that I'm overly concerned about the price, I just like having all of the vegetables to myself). I believe the issue of having been brought a single vegetable tray to my table is honestly my only complaint about the restaurant, and it could very well have been a slip-of-mind from the server. It happens. The service was friendly and fast. We waited no more than a few minutes for our pho. Soup's a fast food to make, and they do not drag their feet. Not to be slanderous, but the Saigon Cafe, one of the other "Vietnamese" restaurants in the area, has very terrible service, and they can take anywhere up to 40 minutes to get a bowl of mediocre pho to you. This place is friendly and fast. I even liked the decor. It's just modern, clean, and tasteful. Very simple, but it's not brimming with tacky Asian decor, or anything that would make you think "eww." I've been in more than a few Asian restaurants that. . . well, sort of overdid their decorating. The result? An Asian nightmare. Statues and rugs everywhere; Asian music pumping through the speakers, everything. While I'm fine with experiencing culture, the bombardment of everything that is Asian is a little much. Pho Plus has no faults in this regard. It's also quite clean. Smells clean, looks clean, and the food is fresh, and extremely tasty. If you've never had pho, go to this place. But don't pronounce it "Foe." Because this would make you look like a dumbass. read more

Best Pho in Utah county. I always get the #1 steak, extra meat, no onions, extra cilantro. And end my bowl of pho with a Taro boba with extra taro flavor, hits the spot every time. after only being introduced to pho this summer while living in seattle (it was everywhere--let me tell you), my family and i are huge fans. i've been wanting to try this place for a while, but i wasn't sure i wanted to venture there without some proper feedback (and some experience). i was pleasantly surprised with the interior of the place, as the outside looks nothing like a restaurant. however, interior/exterior has never stopped me before when it comes to good food. we only got the pho and edamame when we went, as that's what we were in the mood for on a cold night. the menu is not large, but it does have a variety of asian dishes--not just vietnamese. i was hoping for the pho to be as delicious as what i had had in seattle with all the "real" vietnamese restaurants i went to, and i was pleasantly surprised with what i was given. everything looked and tasted just about as authentic as you can get for this particular dish. i was hoping for my basil, but i am assuming it must be hard to come by in these parts. i know i have not seen it in large batches at any of the asian or regular markets. i should have just asked for other people's plates of sprouts and basil, because no one else was using theirs. wth?! such a waste. i guess i cannot fault them, since 75% of the patrons that night seemed to have never had pho until that night. i heard a lot of requests for forks and "omg--what is this? what do i do?" stinkin' meat and potatoes crowd. anyway...my pho was excellent. i got steak and flank. my husband got steak and meatballs. i got regular sized, he got large. trust me, regular is perfect size for one person and a kid if your kid is like mine and adores pho. if you're chicken, get the large and you can share it with your significant other. if you don't like it, your taste buds must be broken. go to the doctor. as mentioned before, they do have boba. not a lot of choices, and they all seem to be the slushie kind. some guy reviewed that the boba comes in a plastic cup that is sealed. uh...duh. real boba always comes like that. and if you've never had it, please do not spend 5 minutes trying to peel the top off. you're s'posed to lance it. oh, and service was kind of slow. the waiter was actually quite fast on her feet, and she was busy with the whole restaurant. it was just that it took forever for our food to come out. i guess i am so used to my pho coming out in minutes, not a half hour. i also hope they consider putting banh mi on the menu one day. if not, i will just have to wait until i move somewhere that actually has a restaurant that serves it. one thing i am curious about is: how in the world do they do shabu shabu? there are no tables that have heating elements in them...? read more

Went to eat here, it was closed, so we tried a place nearby. It was fine, but by the time we were done eating at that other place, we realized that pho plus would now be open. So we went there and ate second dinner. Actually, only my husband did. He weighs 165 pounds. All I'm saying is Pho Plus is really good, and we like it enough to have it be second dinner. read more

I've been to a lot of pho restaurants and this is by far my favorite. The best thing is that out of all places, it's right in Orem! The staff was really kind and the food was phenomenal. The food quality was excellent and the price made me come out without that guilty feeling you get after spending a lot of money in OTHER restaurants. Really love the atmosphere of this place! Honestly it needs more attention, if they advertised more I think more people would show up. Pho was delicious, I always like to get the beef broth with all the meats. Only complaint would be it took a little longer to get the check out (20 minutes when the place was empty). Went to Pho Plus after reading the promising reviews and it exceeded my expectations. The pho was great, however their steak does not come out raw which is a pity. They also have Shabu-Shabu and I believe they also had some soba and pad thai, so it's a mix of little of everything for asian noodle dishes. It's inexpensive food. Just $6.95 for a regular size. It's a pity that they didn't have any milk tea boba available and it took a bit of time to prepare it, but they did have boba with a variety of fruit & berry flavours (lychee & taro too!) and the food was served pretty quickly, as well as the tempura ice-cream that we ordered. The interior was prettier than I expected it to be (considering there was some minor construction on the side of the parking and the building looked almost a bit run down). Service was good. There was only one guy waitering 4-5 other tables when we were there, but he stayed polite and kind while being attentive. Overally, this was a very pleasant dining experience. read more

It's ok. I mean, it's the only pho in orem. I've had good experiences and not so good experiences. I work in that neighborhood in west valley where there is a pho restaurant every 100 yards or so, and i would never, ever go to pho plus if it were in that neighborhood. But they're not. At their best the broth is not as flavorful as it should be. At their worst it's as though they just decided to use canned beef broth that day. read more

This place was FANTASTIC! Some of the best Phó I have ever had! We had the chicken Phó, I got the regular size, and my husband got the large. The regular is HUGE! There's easily enough for two people. I ate until I was stuffed, and still took half of it home! We also ordered the spring rolls, which were pretty average, and the chicken rice bowl, which was amazing and loaded with veggies and favors! The only draw back is the service is SLOW. We went at 5:30pm on a Saturday and there was only one waiter, no host or cashier. The place quickly filled up and the waiter was helping 7 tables, while bussing, doing cash register and serving. It took about 30-40 mins to get our food, but it was worth the wait and the price! The regular phó is $7.99 and the large is $8.99 read more

When we first arrived we asked the owner if the soup had any wheat in it, as someone in the group has an allergy. He said he didn't know, so we asked if there was soy sauce in it, which is usually the source of wheat in Asian food. He freaked out and told us he felt like he was being interrogated. He told us he believed there was no wheat so we sat down. You figure since it his his restaurant he would know the ingredients to his own food, but that was not the case. Someone in our group got extremely sick because of his negligence. Customer service was very poor and the owner was rude. Wait was extremely long for an uncrowned restaurant. The food was good, but far from great. It was more expensive than the usually pho restaurant, but the sizes are generous. Not a lot of meat or additional toppings to add to your soup. read more

This is our favorite pho place. We live in logan so we don't have a pho place up there and we make sure we always come here when we are in town. We always get the Pho. I always get the tofu with veggies added in and my husband gets a large brisket. The taro boba is incredible too! 5 stars for Pho Plus!! read more

I substituted some meats to make sure I got all the standard meats I wanted (I think the only things I didn't get were tendon and tripe, but I did get meatballs). First time eating Pho and I was thoroughly impressed. I went in expecting to hate it and I finished the whole bowl (which was huge by the way) I got the regular steak Pho and it was loaded with noodles, steak, cilantro and veggies. Came with a tray of other veggies, limes and jalepenos and yummy sauces. Service was non-existent but whatever. I just would have liked my water filled. I absolutely love this place! There are not too many onions in their pho and their meat is never weird. And even when it's slammed they always manage to take care of me in a timely manner, which I really appreciate. Anytime I'm in Provo I hit up pho plus. This was the first time I have had pho. The broth was delicious and there were tons of noodles. I used all of the bean sprouts they gave me, and loved the spice from the jalapeños. I like lots of fresh herbs like cilantro and basil in pho. Pho Plus doesn't meet expectations with the herbs, in fact they are borderline 2 star on herbs. But if this was better they could be a 4 star pho. The soup base is good but not excellent. Beef selection was good and quality of meat was better than average.
