The place it's self is easy to access and it's clean. I ordered the lemon chicken lunch. This was my second time, wanted to give this place a chance. The egg drop was ok, the crunchies tasted rancid and chewy. The rice that came with the food was not good, it tasted like old oil, the lemon chicken and sauce was a no go. First time here, my brother brags about this place, so time to try. I liked that there wasn't a line, good amount of space. Clean, open, cute. Service was fast, no wait at all. Prices were decent. Pho NB is A Solid Choice for Bahn Mi in New Braunfels. I've been to Pho NB for their bahn mi, and I have to say, their grilled chicken is excellent. It's a definite standout for me. While their beef options aren't my personal favorite, I appreciate having a spot in New Braunfels where I can find a great chicken bahn mi. I've also noticed that a lot of people order from their Chinese menu whenever I visit, and the dishes always smell delicious. Best Singapore noodles ever! This restaurant was rated highly but on my first visit I only had appetizers- my bad. I just wasn't very hungry. This visit I brought my normal appetite. This dish included pork, shrimp and chicken along with egg. The curry spice had a fair bite to it but it was perfect for me. Not only was the spice level right but the curry flavor was also to my liking. My wife who ordered only a soup and an appetizer, could not stop pinching my Singapore noodles. The food is consistently good here if you know what to get. My husband loves their sesame and general joes chicken. The other sweet chicken dishes here aren't as good as the two mentioned. Pho NB is our go to for pho in New Braunfels! It is everything you expect for a Vietnamese restaurant - the service is super fast, the broth is hot, and they will take your order very quickly. Whether you are dining in or ordering take out, the quality is good and you know what you will be getting. The broth is not too sweet, not too salty, and not too heavy cinnamon flavor. The spring rolls and egg rolls are classic and delicious. The chicken fried rice is good too. The Com Suon Nuong (Charcoal Broiled Pork Chops rice plate) is also pretty good but the pork chop pieces are more rectangular chunks that the flank style I was expecting. The Bahn Mis are pretty decent as well. Pho NB would get the classic Asian restaurant 3.5 stars (meaning they are the real deal) but Yelp doesn't give half stars. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in town. I have otherwise struggled to find good Asian food in New braunfels, it is one of the biggest downfalls of living here. Luckily, this restaurant lives up to all my high expectations. Primarily, I eat their pho, but there's many other great dishes - lemongrass beef is Wonderful. They give you huge servings of the fresh veggies along with the meals like basil, cucumber or shredded lettuce, and bean sprouts. The most authentic Vietnamese place in the area that I've found so far. We've been here about five times and even my Vietnamese mother approved of this place. Their egg rolls are super yummy and crispy. Also a great price and their veggies are always fresh. Their pho is good. Recently tried their bun thit nuong and the meat was very tasty. My husband got the rice plate with egg, pork and shredded pork and said his plate was really good. The chicken banh mi was good but could be better. It didn't have pate in it and I want to say it didn't have the Vietnamese mayo. I think the sandwich is Americanized so not super authentic but meat was good. Also their combination fried rice was okay. Again, more like Americanized fried rice. I'm conflicted I used to come here so much, my go to order is Pho Nam and over the years I have tasted a change:( recently I have been having to add so much soy sauce and chili oil to my broth to try and give it some flavor until I realized that's not how it's supposed to be. First time visiting this place. We walked in and were seated right away. There were probably about 8 other people seated when we got here. They got pretty packed pretty quick!
