Food is consistently delicious, large portions, good prices, excellent service, and it's very clean. Usually a noodle bowl--it's my favorite. But because everything is tasty I've tried dishes I've never had before and always been pleased. I would come here every day if I could.
Located across from the statehouse, pho-natic, will make you a pho-fan. The two workers worked quickly to seat and serve diners. I had a beef pho and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The iced coffee was bold and flavorful, and portioned perfectly. Since Vietnamese iced coffee is so strong, I understand why the portion was substantially smaller than other drinks but I was surprised that it was priced about the same or higher than others. The regular pho bowl was a good portion -- enough to satisfy someone with moderate hunger. The beef portions within the soup were also plentiful - they did not skimp! While the broth itself was good, it wasn't my favorite (a little heavy on the fish sauce, and yet very light in color). Overall, I'd come back and would tell others to give pho-natic a chance if you're in town. It's pho-tastic!
Very good pho here! Walking in, I was instantly hit with the wonderful aroma of pho broth. I got the Pho dac biet, so it included all the meats! I genuinely appreciate how they offer the small size for the pho dac biet, which isn't available in a lot of pho restaurants. Pho was soooo tasty! All the meats were tender. For a small bowl, even a regular size bowl, there was a good amount of meats and noodles. My favorite part about this place is the chili sauce! It's pretty much the sauce that is in bun bo hue. Fantastic taste and perfect amount of spice. The server was nice and quick. A lot of seating.
What a comforting and inviting shop right across the street from the Capitol Building. Perfect place to go on a cold day. The bowl of pho warms you right up. They are very generous on the portion size. Lots of noodles, soup, and beef. They definitely did not skimp. That bowl is worth every dollar you pay for it. The broth is deep and flavorful and warms you to your soul. Service is friendly and fast as well. Keep up the good work :)
I came here as part of a big group with a reservation. They seated us immediately and served us very efficiently. The food was good, tofu was cooked nicely. I'd definitely come back and try the pho, I was afraid to try to eat it around coworkers :).
I love this pho restaurant. Their soup is less sweet than the average, quenching my need for a savory broth. The service is good considering there are only a few people working here each shift. I always crave their food. This time, we got the bun tho hue, the spicy beef noodle soup. The noodles are thicker than the pho. The soup is good and flavorful but you don't get the different types of meat this dish usually comes with... but its a great spicy version of a nice noodle dish. I'd eat it again. Sustainability tip: They serve their boba in a glass if you're dining in! It feels much classier and stays cold longer if you have the time. If you want to be extra, being your own straw!
This is our second time to this restaurant and again did not disappoint. The vegetarian pho with tofu is spectacular and full of flavor. The vegetarian tofu spring rolls are fresh, delicious, and the sauce is spectacular. The service is also very attentive and friendly. A must try when in the downtown Denver area. It has a beautiful view of the capital building. We will return again.
Grabbed lunch at Pho-natic the other day, and honestly it was an excellent experience. Clean, cozy and cool space (the latter was important given it was a hot walk to get there and I still wanted to slurp some hot pho). Service was absolutely impeccable too. We had the spring rolls to start with, which were generously filled. The pho comes in three sizes, and I got the small which was perfect for my lunchtime appetite, and it still had plenty of meat and accoutrement. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also perfection, and I got to watch it steep tableside. Truly a great spot. I only wish it was a shorter walk from the office!
It's good but not the best pho or thai iced tea I've had (I've had many, so my standard is higher). The broth is tasty but isn't clear. Noodle texture was correct. Good amount of beef in the noodle soup. I wish cilantro was served on the side and not in the soup. Thai iced tea flavor is a little off, maybe more artificial? Staff is friendly, attentive, and courteous. Decor is a little outdated.. Floor has a few cracks. Probably wouldn't visit again.
I have had my share of pho broth...and this place is up there. Run by a mom and her son ( I think). Fantastic crispy pork rolls. Medium bowls of pho will fill you up with great flavor. Seriously it cleared up my laryngitis. Get the lemon grass into your broth. I am coming back for sure.

I think I just found my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Denver. This small cozy place immediately gives you good vibes upon arrival. Service was very quick and attentive and all of the food was made fresh. I ordered the grilled pork spring rolls and the combination noodle bowl, both of which I devoured. The meat was well seasoned and juicy and had a nice char from the grill. I think my favorite was the juicy pork on top of the fresh noodles. I do wish that I had a little more vegetables to balance out the meat portion but that's the only "complaint" I have if you want to call that a complaint. Parking is a bit tragic as this place is directly across from the Capitol so if you're trying to go I recommend parking a block or two away and parking.

Listen here. If you enjoy pho, you'll know it's all about the broth. Some people love to dress theirs with fish sauce while others spice up the broth with sriracha and hot chilis. Every pho spot I check out, the first order of business is to sip the broth pure and clean and unadulterated. The first taste of the pho at pho-natic was magical. Yes motherfucker, magical. I enjoyed so much of the broth naturally, before making it spicy like I like it. The noodles were great. The portion of rare steak was massive considering I ordered a small bowl. The restaurant was pretty busy and the staff was turning covers pretty quick. I get that this joint is in a slightly sketchy part of town, but ignore the bullshit and mundane appearance of the exterior. And be pleasantly surprised when the pho blows your mind. Thank me later. Stopped here for dinner during a visit to Denver. Our party of three came in 30 min before closing, but were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. We ordered two bowls of pho, and a pork bun noodle bowl. The broth was very flavorful and the toppings were fresh. We requested more bean sprouts and they were brought out free of charge. My friend is allergic to peanuts and we requested no nuts on the pork bowl a little too late. But the restaurant was accommodating and re-made her bowl regardless. I would recommend this spot as a fast casual dining experience and those in need of a warm bowl of pho. read more
Got a combo noodle bowl and a Thai tea at around 11 for an early lunch. Not too crowded at that time but by 12 there was a wait. The Combo Noodle bowl lacked flavor in the meats. The chicken was the worst. Dyed pink but tasted like plain, unseasoned, steamed chicken slices. The beef had occasional grilly flavor but was also on the less flavorful side and rather chewy. Pork had no real grilly flavor either. Shrimp was quite tender actually but I'm not a strong shrimp fan and I took one bite and set it aside. Someone else might have enjoyed it. I liked that the carrots in the bowl were pickled. But even the fish sauce on the side was kind of bland and watery tasting from what I'm accustomed to. Very little veggies in the bottom of my bowl and mostly noodles. I prefer it to be equal or even more of the salad ingredients present. Lastly... The bowl portion was kind of on the smaller side, especially for $12. The egg roll in my bowl was really greasy and didn't look quite like those in most pictures so maybe they had an off day for egg rolls. The filling was pretty good, on the larger side for what I often am served. I was disappointed because people were raving about them on Yelp. Customer service was polite and fast for the most part. Thai tea was bad. Tasted a lot like powdered milk which I hate and it also had random floating white chunks in it. I got boba in it and they were "okay", really soft and gooey but I like them a little chewier. Also the menu said $4 but I was charged $5? I wondered if it was from the boba but they didn't mention it when the order was placed. I will probably not return or recommend this particular Vietnamese restaurant even though I deeply wanted to like it since it's around the corner from my husband's office. I visit Vietnamese places when I'm in the mood for some punchy and vibrant Asian flavor but this one just didn't deliver. read more

To be fair, this restaurant is actually 3.5 stars. It was the closest Pho restaurant (with good Yelp reviews) to my hotel (Hyatt Regency on 15th). Out of all the pho restaurants I've visited during my trip to Denver, this one had the best customer service by far. Just service alone, they would get 4 stars from me. They definitely set the bar on customer service here. Too bad I have to account for my overall experience including the taste of their food when reviewing a restaurant. I ordered their Combination Pho or Dac Biet Pho (#23 on menu). The bowl that came out was huge! Mostly soup and noodles though. It lacked meat in the bowl but they did have a decent portion of the rare steak on the side. The veggies also lacked when it came out with the pho. I was disappointed with the pho here. The soup was decent but was not very flavorful. Noodles were stuck together and chewy. Nice pho spot with excellent customer service. read more

Stopped in for a milk tea. I ordered the Royal Milk Tea (which the hostess recommended) with boba. It was delicious! I was so happy with the quick and easy service. The hostess was so nice and helpful! I will definitely come back here when I'm in Denver again! Thank you so much! read more
Found this Pho place nearby the hotel, several blocks away. A perfect way to end a rainy + cold day, some hot Pho!! It's a small place but they do have ample seating. It's wide open here so not a lot of privacy either. There's a hostess waiting to seat you when you walk in - very nice and attentive. They have a good selection of spring rolls, more than usual, so we try out a couple. One w/ meat, one with pork and shrimp. All of them are pretty good, the peanut sauce is a bit runny here but it's still tasty, and they even ask us if we want more (yes!). I get the Chicken Pho, which usually comes in beef broth. Since that doesn't seem to be a good combo I ask what other broths they offer - - vegetarian and seafood. I ask for the vegetarian broth (which I assume is lighter) and she says she'll have to confirm (yes - no problem). I was delighted w/ the options and their flexibility. Food comes out quick, the Pho looks awesome. The vegetarian broth was a great choice: it's is lighter in color, yet a bit on the salty side - - although nothing I can't handle as it still tastes great. Overall the Pho here is very good and I would definitely go back here again. Service was very attentive and nice as well. read more

This Pho place has a great spot off Colfax and Grant, right across from the Capitol building. During the week it is packed at lunch. The Saturday we hit it up, it was pretty quiet. Nice big dining area and friendly servers. The prices are good and only a tiny bit higher than other Pho places, but based on location it seems acceptable. I liked this place, I didn't love it. I thought the broth was very simple, almost clear, not much flavor. I always get the Pho Bien (meatballs) and it the meatballs were flavorful and cooked well. The herbs and sprouts were very fresh. I think for me it was just too simple. I would go back, but it didn't wow me. read more
I expected more based on the Yelp reviews I read. Ordered the traditional pho with filet/brisket (my usual) and it was decent but nothing special. Broth was too sweet, not meaty enough and disappointing - especially since this is the most important aspect. Theres too many pho places in Denver to come back to one that you didnt enjoy so much! read more

Friendly staff. Lots of windows so it's a relaxing place for lunch. I thought the pho broth was great, but the shrimp did not taste fresh. I guess Colorado is landlocked so I should have known. They just had a funny taste. Asked for extra cilantro and that helped the broth have some more flavor. read more

Wow. The rudest manager I've ever met. We had a birthday party of 8. Sat at a table for 6 but moved over a two top (very small). Red head guy Waiter said they couldn't do that so we all happily moved over to another section for 8. (We quietly moved everything back where we got it). The Manager then awkwardly came over and said angrily "If you don't like it you can leave." This was like 2 mins after we moved... We were so stunned by his reaction. Mouths just dropped. Birthday girl is very upset. Like we just walked in and where did the anger come from? Who is that angry about tables in a restaurant industry? Now I will say the lady waiter that took over for the red head guy was super nice. Very polite. I feel so bad that they have to work for such a mean person. Food was good. Had soft crab which was pretty good. Rare steak pho which was ok but I've had better. If you want to support a small business that deserves your money, I personally don't think the manager deserves your business. Better to go to a different pho cafe. read more
I'm a Pho-natic! I was craving some hot noodles on a chilly, gloomy, and rainy day in June. This is my only experience with pho in Colorado, so I can't say that it's the best in Colorado, but it's definitely Phon-tastic! Comparison to many pho spots in LA, Pho-natic has: 1) lighter broth 2) Similar broth flavor 2) higher $$$ 3) Better quality tender meat. Service: The server was very attentive. I was pleasantly surprised he actually checked up on me. Traditionally, I've had absentee servers who I had to flag down to get anything. read more

I love pho, but we had only ordered delivery until I started going here with my new co-workers who are obsessed! The pho is amazing! The meat is plentiful and tender, and the broth is some of the best I've had! The service is awesome, and even though they get busy during lunch, they also make sure you know you have not been forgotten. They have a good drink list, and the rice plates are also a nice change if you're not feeling the pho! The one thing that would make it even better was if you could get beer or wine with your meal!!!! read more

This is a very popular spot near the capital, so if you come at lunch time, expect a short wait... The service is fast and friendly, the restaurant generally clean. All in all, a decent spot. I tried the Vietnamese vermicelli bowl, and it was A-OK. read more
I have been frequenting Pho-natic for probably 5 years now- mostly for takeout. When I am craving a hot bowl of pho and don't feel like venturing over to Federal, this is a great option. My order is always promptly ready when I get there (I live two blocks away so it is a very convenient spot for me). They package to-go orders very nicely making it easy to heat up the broth on the stove when you get home- this isn't necessary but I prefer my pho to be piping hot. The egg rolls and spring rolls here are also delicious! When the pho craving hits hard, this is a place I never pho-get about. read more

Best pho in Denver. Hands down. It might be on my top 3 from around the country, and boy do I eat a lot of pho. Only reason I've even tried others in Denver is due to Pho-natic not being opened on Sundays. Broth is exceptional and the meat is always fresh. The size of the rice noodles is also perfect. Owner is very friendly. read more
