Casual, tasty Vietnamese spot with a great combo plate…read more Dan Da was one of my first times having Vietnamese cuisine, or at least the first time I can recall, and it was tasty. The inside is very casual, and the menu is great. My fiancée and I split the chilled spring rolls with shrimp. Two come in an order, and they were a good size. They're a classic spring roll served with peanut dipping sauce on the side. We also shared the combination rice plate, which was a great way to sample several items from the menu. It comes with chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp. My favorites, in order, were the chicken, the shrimp, the beef, and lastly the pork chop. I was surprised the chicken ended up on top, but it was very tasty. It also comes with an egg roll cut into several pieces, which makes it a great dish to share. One person in our group ordered the shaken beef signature dish, and the beef was very yummy. Would highly recommend this place. I'm looking forward to coming back.

They have a happy hour but the HH menu is very limited for food and the drinks we don't partake. Cute atmosphere, the bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I've seen for a baby changing station I've seen in a while so thank you for that. Plus they had disco balls in the ceiling! I would recommend about all that I've tried, the pig ears and the egg, roe over rice.

It's Vietnamese fusion cuisine where every dish reimagines staple southeast Asian dishes in such a savory manner. My top 5 rated restaurant in Beli. The portion was generous, with plenty of vermicelli, cubed deep fried tofu, broccoli, carrot, tons of cilantro and green onions, and served with a side of basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeno. The broth was amply salty and wonderfully flavourful. I asked for a side of chili oil, and they said that would be $2 (very unusual and a rip off for what you get); luckily, the chili oil was wonderfully flavourful and pants-shittingly spicy -- you only need a tiny bit (a teaspoon maybe), and your pho becomes red hot, which I was down with. Other than charging for chili oil (and needing only a tiny bit of it), the experience was phenomenal. Very tasty, good service, fast, and good value. Highly recommended.

The food, portions, flavors, and overall experience are absolutely outstanding. First - you cannot leave without trying the homemade ginger ale. I have no idea what magic they put into it, but it is truly out of this world. It's unique, refreshing, and easily one of the most memorable drinks I've had at a restaurant. The pho is consistently delicious - packed with incredible flavor. The sesame chicken is another standout, but honestly, the curries are where this place really shines. My friend said the lamb curry was one of the best things he has ever eaten, and I completely understand why. The curries come out piping hot and overflowing- literally. The atmosphere is just as special as the food. The inside has such a great vibe - cozy, welcoming, and full of character. They also have the cutest little patio that feels like a hidden oasis with all the greenery and homey touches. The management and staff are phenomenal. They are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience. They constantly check in and somehow always seem to surprise you with something extra. You can tell this place is run by people who truly love what they do. We've done both takeout and dine-in, and the quality never changes. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. They also have great vegan options, so there really is something for everyone. They are connected with the same ownership/management as Golden Bánh Mì next door, which is also incredible - clearly there is a passion for creating amazing food and experiences.

However, the staff was extremely accommodating and did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. Even though the restaurant was busy and our group was much larger than the average party, they still provided great service and were very patient with us. I really appreciated how much effort they put into making the experience enjoyable for everyone. The food was also very tasty. I ordered the sesame chicken, and it had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming, and the chicken had a really good crunch to it. It was exactly what I was hoping for and definitely one of the highlights of my meal. Everything else that I tried was enjoyable as well, and overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food. My biggest complaint was more about the layout of the restaurant than the food or service. Because we had such a large group, there really weren't many spaces available that could accommodate everyone together. We ended up having to sit at five separate tables, which was a little inconvenient when we were trying to celebrate a birthday as a group. I completely understand that the staff was working with the space they had, and I really appreciate that they did everything they could to accommodate us. It just would have been nice if there were a larger seating area where big parties could sit together. I think a remodel or some type of redesign of the dining area could really benefit the restaurant, especially if they frequently have larger parties. Creating a designated space for bigger groups would make the experience much more convenient and would allow families and large groups to actually sit together and enjoy their meals. Overall, though, we had a great experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, and they did a great job handling our large group despite how busy they were. The seating situation was definitely the only downside, and I think that could be improved with a little more space or a remodel. I would still come back, especially for the food and the excellent service!

After looking at two I still didn't know how much hot sake was or the sizes offered and if they had other kinds -- absolutely no transparency on price when it's not on a menu anywhere. They have Lucky Buddha bottles all over the place but no idea how much those were, either. Mixers? I see bottles but no prices cause nothin is listed in any drink menus. So weird. The pho is very good and other meals have always been. I think it's on the pricier side here for everything. It gets so expensive to go out when a modest meal/drink set ya back $50. It's just pho! And a basic adult drink like super cheap house sake or tap beer. But anywho, this is our world now. Just going out less & less than I used to! They don't have any deals like happy hour. Multiple people asked when I was there so I hope they offer one someday. The sides for pho are pretty skimpy but there was no hesitation when I asked for more lime & basil. Service was and has always been really good!

I love that their menu has your run of the mill options but they have a specials page with harder to find Vietnamese options, like banh xeo or banh canh cua. They do NOT have banh cuon though, just fyi. I read other reviews saying the banh canh cua and bun bo hue are really good here, and lemme tell you. The yelpers did not disappoint! Everything in the canh cua is hella good, especially the broth. All I added was lime, veggies, and a little chili oil. Perfection! I couldn't finish the bowl since we ordered a bunch of other stuff but canh cua keeps well so even heated up the next day, the noodles and everything were intact and yummy. It does come with blood cubes but if you aren't a fan, like myself, you can ask them to take it out. They have several BBH meat options but my BF went with the King bowl which has everything in it. We didn't realize that it comes with a giant beef bone on the side. Considering we ordered two of these for our 4 person table, our table was packed AF lol The BBH has a good flavor and depth, not that spicy, and if you like a lot of meat variety, this is the one for you. We also ordered spring rolls, eggrolls, banh it ram, and banh beo for the table. The banh it ram and banh beo were sooooooo freakin good. They stuff the chewy part of the banh it ram with a yummy pork filling, and the crunch on the bottom was such a good contrast to the chewiness of the mochi like top. I've had this dish a few times before but I have to say, O Lien does it best. You really have to dunk these things in the nuoc mam (sweet fish) otherwise it will taste a little plain. The banh beo were some of the best I've had. They really load these babies up with toppings, which I appreciate because some places are so stingy with the chicharrones and shrimp dust - thats the orange stuff on top. These were also a highlight for me, I love the sweet savory flavor, and the chewiness of the banh beo. This is another thing you kinda have to drown in nuoc ma for flavor and they're pretty big so kudos to you if you can one bite this. For me, I found it a little more appetizing to cut in half and scoop up with my spoon. The egg rolls were good, nothing crazy. Just a nice solid egg roll. I didn't try the spring rolls but my cousin said the sauce it came with didn't have a peanutty taste. It said it tasted more like soy sauce than anything.. so for him, he would pass. We popped in on a Sunday night at 7, and they had a whole waitlist with people waiting inside and outside. We were lucky and only had to wait about 15 minutes. They claim they close at 8 but they def had people seated past that. They're super busy and for good reason. The food is bomb! They're in a small plaza with a tiny lot, so you might catch a spot if you're lucky otherwise you'll have to find street parking, which shouldn't be too bad. The inside is fairly spacious, so they do get people moving in and our fairly quickly.
