The place is in a super seedy block of town not the worst but pretty nasty. The food is anything but! Its the best pho ive ever had and ive had it all up and down federal blvd.! Tasty, ok prices. Super friendly staff. Family run. And really central but seedy location. Although it is in front of the Capital Building. read more

This reminds my of my mother in laws (who grew up in Vietnam) cooking. Yes there is a little old asain lady making your food. It is beyond delish. The customer service is great. After our first visit the male server remembered my family, and what we got. He also took a few seconds to play with my 2 year old, even tho it is always busy. Haven't tried a single thing on this menu that I didn't love. read more

Ordered carry out and the transaction was smooth and fast. Staff were friendly and greeted me. The food is 9/10 because nothing is better then home cooked meals. Just kidding I would say it's a 10/10. The pho was wonderful! Very light and delicious. would come again! read more

Great Food, Great Service, We ate Egg Rolls, WonTons, Soup, meal fit for a king!

This is the best spot I've been to compared to other places! Nothing beats this place! Great service every time!

This is just the place in Capital Hill if you want a quick good Bun of Pho. The service is fast and the food is good. Only problem is the interior smells a bit like stale cigarettes. But it is a very hood place to get your Pho on. read more

This place is wonderful. I have definitely become a Pho-natic fanatic. My husband and I average dinner here about once per week and have been coming here for over a year now. I can't personally comment on the meat varieties of pho but have eaten there with friends who have tried the rare steak, the meatball, and the chicken, and all seemed to really enjoy it. Being a vegetarian I always order the tofu pho, which is absolutely divine. We also love their veggie spring roll. Everything is fresh and the peanut dipping sauce is delicious. I also love their boba - it is perfect. Just the right amount of sweet and chewy. I have tried it in several smoothies as well as the royal milk tea. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious. Apparently lunches can get very busy so be prepared for that if you do lunch there. Dinners vary; some nights there is a crowd and other nights it is quieter. What a wonderful addition to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. I look forward to many more bowls of pho at Pho-natic. read more

Pho-natic - Tofu Pho at Pho-natic - Vietnamese Near Me - Denver, Colorado

The 1st time I was here, it was sometime in 2010 with my 2 lady friends. We all enjoyed our meal and said we couldn't wait to come back. Well somehow, they fulfilled their pledge and I did not. Did it really take 3 years before my 2nd visit ? If I had to rate myself on Yelp, I deserve a 1. So I redeemed myself today and had the Egg Roll Bowl (Cha gio). It was just a nice blend of everything. Rice noodles, vegetables, and of course, nicely fried egg rolls (how many times am I using the word, nice). My friend ordered the Thit nurong (grilled pork noodle bowl) and he said it was good. The greeter and the servers were all friendly and polite. BTW, the servings were generous so be prepared to be stuffed. And don't make the mistake I did and wait 3 years in-between visits. read more

Good Pho, best in Denver east of Federal, totally affordable. I always buy a big bowl and take home half of it - two meals for the price of one! For people who love vegetables: Only the tofu bowl comes with veggies, unless you ask. My least favorite thing about this place is that they bring you ice water when it's snowing outside. I mean, really. read more

Great bun! Tofu was well spiced and the fish sauce that seemed house made was really good over top. Friendly, helpful (for a novice like me), and responsive service. Sleek, modern and casual atmosphere, good light and right across from capitol. I'd come back for sure. read more

A-MAZING.. stumbled in here while in the area on business, my client.was in the mood for Pho... this place is crazy friendly and really good food! Great portions, flavor, warmth and generous bowls full of ahhhh! The employees seemed happy and kind... generous with smiles and warmth. I grew up in an Asian influenced part of our country and this seemed remarkable, boasting geninuity in care for the customer. Yum, yummy! Thanks for the great food and I am excited to try it again! Much appreciate you all. Cheers. Wish you continued success. read more

This restaurant is absolutely worth 5 stars! Pho is very authentic, I love their slide beef and broth. nice atmosphere, nice, fast, and professional services. read more

First time going there after reading these reviews. The host there was very nice and explained all the dishes to me. They even told me how to prepare at home so it tastes the same as restaurant. I was very impressed The soup and roll that I got, and thought it was great. I will definitely be back read more

I was around the area and decided to stop in for lunch. I ordered spring rolls and a small combination pho. The server was very nice. They have good customer service, however the broth of the pho was so salty, I couldn't finish everything because I was so quenched. I don't know if their broth is always like this though. The spring rolls were good, but also very small. I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I normally steer clear of Pho restaurants with catchy names but I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to check this place out. It's clean and comfortable and the pho was excellent. I'm so glad I came here because it's just a few blocks from my apartment so it's an easy walk whenever I want some delicious pho. read more

Nommm the pho here is spot on! Friendly staff, efficient service, reasonable prices - and being across from the Capitol it's full of young political who-dids! I feel like I am on West Wing or VEEP surrounded by such strategic minds. :) The bit of Colfax it's on is deceptively grungy: inside it's very clean! It's all very reminiscent of places I found in D.C. (again, I think being across from the Capitol helps) but I come here first and foremost for the food, and the pho and Vietnamese coffee is delicious. They don't skimp on the sides and have tons of options - it's my go-to pho spot in Denver! :) read more

I was craving pho and saw that on Yelp that Pho-natic had pretty good reviews, which is why I went there. First of all, cute name for a pho restaurant. Honestly, I give this place a 4.5. The service was good. Food arrived quickly, and the food was just like the pho I am used to at home. Also, the prices were very reasonable. I ordered summer rolls with the peanut sauce, which was a little on the sweet side. I prefer the peanut sauce with summer rolls to not be so sweet. I also ordered a small pho tai (rare steak). The meat portions were quite generous for a small, and the portion was just right for me. The only thing is that I think the soup could've been a little hotter. My steak didn't cook all the way through. Maybe the basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño, and lime cooled the soup down? The veggie portions to put in the soup were generous, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat all the bean sprouts. :( read more

Went here with a group and we were all served promptly and pleasantly by professional staff. I was surprised at how quiet and clean this place is considering its location. Prices are very reasonable and the food is quite excellent and vegetables are very fresh. I had a pork noodle bowl and it was quite good, and their servings are large. I took a container of leftovers home. The only snafu I noted which is something other restaurants do is that the servers tend to mistake Sprite for water and come around pour water into your Sprite. Hint: If it's bubbly, it's not water. Other than that, great place. Casual dress, too. read more

The food here was absolutely delicious and the menu options were fairly broad. Not only that, but the staff was very friendly as well as attentive and the food came out right away. Highly recommend! read more

Best pho in town. My seven year old foodie son says it's the best food he's ever had. Very affordable and fantastic food.

This is really close to the office in downtown Denver makes it very convenient for me to meet a friend and catch up. Also take out service is very fast. read more

The pho was delicious and nurturing. It arrived quickly and our server was friendly and attentive when needed. Fun location with great views of downtown area! read more

I know you're probably hungry, but get the small pho. Pho, real their portions are huge! I ordered the regular sized brisket and tendon and I could easily swim in it if I wanted to. I don't really know why I ordered the tendon, that type of meat usually grosses me out but the rest of the pho was pho-nomenal. We also ordered egg rolls, which came with this sweet and spicy sauce - so good. I would definitely be back, the service was great, our waiter was attentive and friendly so no complaints here! read more

As i had no time ro have lunch in the restaurant so i ordered take away and i have to say the food was fantastic! The portion was enough, tasty and a good price! read more

I am so happy I can walk here anytime! I come here very often and the food is never disappointing. I have not tried a lot but what I DO love is the marinated steak spring rolls and obviously the pho. I love the light broth and appreciate that it is not sweet. That is just my preference. I also love the assortment of veggies in the veggie pho. The service varies but as a somewhat regular they seem to act like they have never seen me in my life every single time. Staff could be friendlier I guess but its not horrible by any means. I also don't like how they rush everyone out of there before 8pm. They close QUITE early in my opinion and I wish they were open on Sundays. read more

If you re a fan of good pho, this is not the place. There are no veggies in the pho not even a little carrot, just blend broth (i happen to be vegetarian so i cant speak for the meat broth) tofu, noodles ok, and the usual garnish (sprouts n Thai basil). I asked the waitress why there were no veggies and she said it was to keep inventory low. Basically they dont care about providing a good product just making easy money. I will never come back. read more

Not a bad experience but the pho is rather flavorless, the broth definitely doesn't have much of any flavor. It's a nice clean restaurant, and the staff are great. It's near my home so even though it's not the best pho I've had, I do visit here often. read more

The Pho is so flavorful! I would indeed be back if I lived in downtown. My girlfriend got the combination noodle bowl. Meat was not very flavorful, but the shrimp was very tasty. Overall I would suggest sticking with the Pho only. I've had better egg rolls, but still not bad. You will not be disappointed by the pho though. read more

This place was absolutely amazing. I eat pho at least once a week so I've got a pretty good idea for what good pho is. The meat was great quality on there dishes. I also had their spring rolls which was pretty good to. The service was actually better than any other pho place I've been to. I'm on vacation and I really wish they had one near me. Overall great experience with great food. I highly recommend! read more

Just moved to town. Food was delicious and came out quick! Our server was Nan and he was charming as heck!

Pho-natic consistently serves excellent pho. The menu is long and traditional, with twenty-three types of pho, in addiiton to noodle bowls and rice plates. Their vegetarian pho has long strips of lightly fried tofu, which adds great flavor and texture - delish. The veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce are also light and delicious and the bbq spring rolls are also tasty. Service is always quick and pleasent. Sadly, it's closed on Sundays. read more

I had the good fortune to discover Pho-natic during a business trip to Denver. Wow, a terrific bowl of noodles. I live in NYC where I lunch on pho frequently and have visited Vietnam several times. Great prices, wonderful friendly service and authentic pho. I honestly can't imagine you could find better pho in Denver...try it!! read more

Good pho, great ice coffee

Go-to for pho close to home. Medium pho with extra chicken is the way to go, for me. Always plentiful servings and takeout is always speedy (always 10-15 minutes). Takeout order service leaves a little to be desired but that and parking would be my only true hang-ups with this place. read more

We've been anxiously waiting for Pho-natic to open in the space formerly occupied by an Indian restaurant and then a Belgian candy store. The new owners obviously invested money to renovate the interior which is clean and modern without being overly designed. I liked the fresh flower arrangements instead of the usual fake blooms you see at so many Asian places. K and I ate there tonight which was the very first day of business. Pho-natic uses the pharse "Vietnames street food" to define the menu. I was thinking there would be really cool things I've never seen on the menu but this was not the case. The most unusual item I could find was the soft shell crab appetizer. Regardless, it's good to have a Vietnames place in the hood. We started with the cold spring rolls which were decent. The rice paper was perfectly moistened and there was a nice ratio of shrimp/tofu, romaine lettuce and vermicelli. The order of two rolls was $4 and came with a warm hoisin-based dipping sauce with peanuts which I prefer to the straight out peanut butter sauce that is sometimes served with this type of spring roll. I had the grilled chicken rice bowl which was slightly disappointing. I love and prefer dark meat so I was happy to see a boneless grilled chicken thigh on the square plate. However, the chicken was very dry which is usually hard to achieve when working with dark meat. The fish sauce was excellent with a nice spicy bite without overwhelming this gringo. The daikon and carrot salad looked good with a scalloped edge, but I like my pickled vegetables steeped in vinegar a bit longer. Pouring the fish sauce over the daikon solved the issue for the most part. Very standard veggies came with my grilled chicken rice dish - a piece of lettuce, two slices of cucumber and 1 1/2 slices of under-ripened tomatoes. K ordered the large chicken pho. He loved his dish. The chicken broth was tasty but K overseasoned it with sriccha so it got to spicy hot for me to enjoy outside of my first bite. One app, two dinners and one soft drink came to about $23. Not bad for a casual dinner during the week. I've definitely had better ethnic cuisine from Vietnam. Even L'Asie Fusion which doesn't solely focus on one Asian style serves better grilled meat with their Vietnamese dishes. Overall, I'm willing to give this place another try to see if other dishes are better. Despite my dry chicken, all the flavors were good so hopefully it was just an overgrilled piece of meat tonight. read more
