My friends recommended Pho 98, and now I finally wrote a review. I got the Pho with beef round eye and tendons. Beef was tender and very thinly sliced. Tendons were not tough, but soft and tender. Broth was very flavorful and authentic. Everything was on point. Why did I only give 3 stars? One of our appetizer plate was dirty, like very dirty with curry stains on it. I also found a hair in my soup. Not cool. So many Asian restaurants have the same issue with cleanliness, and absolutely not acceptable in any way. I doubt that I will return here again. read more

I go here almost once a week with my boyfriend. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I always order the veggie and tofu pho with pineapple boba smoothie, I'm addicted. The prices are more than reasonable and we ALWAYS have so much extra that we bring home. read more

It was ok... I didn't care for the pho here as much as pho so 1 down the street. I ordered there large pho with the works and their spring rolls. The spring rolls were fresh and I liked that they cut it in half to make the bite better. The pho was just ok. The meat didn't taste fresh and the broth didn't taste as good as the other one. It wasn't as clean and clear and was a bit bland honestly. I do love that it seems like the staff here knows their regulars and greets them accordingly. But for me, my go to pho place will be the other one. read more

Had this for takeout recently and it was delicious. The avocado shake was amazing! Will definitely order from again.

The food was good but the service and the health measures required to make guest feel safe were not properly taken. A member of the staff was walking around without a mask cleaning tables and the host was also walking around the restaurant without a mask. They allowed a group to come in and wonder around without any masks and they sat them within 2 ft of multiple people. The worst part is that there were empty tables that were 6ft where they could have been seated. read more

This is probably my most favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town. I live about 10 mins away. I love the food the most, for example, shrimp sugarcane sticks and mi vit tiem are my favorite. In addition, I was so impressed about service. Servers was friendly, attentive, and amazing, especially is Hao. I love to come back anytime and strongly recommend to any friend are looking for traditional Vietnamese food. Keep it up!!! read more

Solid Vietnamese restaurant. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I was here with a group of associates for the business Chamber meeting and many of them had never been to a pho restaurant. The owner patiently explain the menu to the group, and giving recommendations to each attendee. Thumbs up for stellar service. The restaurant is nice and clean. Onto the food, I had the Bun ga, vermicelli with grilled chicken. The chicken was well marinated, came in a huge bowl with plenty of salad fixings in it. The portion was very generous, I had to take some home with me for pre-workout meal, which was wonderful. The other people in my group ordered a variety of other items including pho, clay pot rice, and stir fry. Everyone complimented their food and really enjoy it. Decided to stop in for a quick lunch today as it was my first time in. I was greeted by Suzanne who was very nice and attentive. I ordered my usual when going to any Vietnamese restaurant; spring rolls and beef Pho. I have to say that the food was very tasty, extremely fresh and just as I would expect. The beef eye round was also exceptionally lean as some places I've found it can be very fatty as it shouldn't be. Looking to head back and expand my menu selections. read more

I happened to be in the Randolph area for work today, and was looking for a change from the norm as far as lunch choices. I FOUND it !!!! Pho Little Saigon On north main st in Randolph, Ma. Susan and the staff were more than helpful in selecting a light yet hardy lunch for me, as I did not have any previous experience eating or ordering Vietnamese food. Boy was I impressed! They suggested I go with the Nha Trang Spring Rolls, and Pho Tai Gau. The spring rolls were out of this world, soft rice paper outside and a delicious crunchy freshness on the inside, and the dipping sauce was the perfect complement. The Pho Tai Gau was a beef noodle soup that was amazing also. Tender pieces of sliced beef and brisket cooked to perfection. Really. Wow! Definitely need to come back next time I'm in Randolph for lunch. Well worth it. Prices are very reasonable also. read more

Water / Bread service: Just got hot tea which was fine. Drink pour: We didn't have cocktails as it was lunch and my wife and I don't usually roll like that or we would be napping by 4:00 Food quality: As I mentioned we went there specifically for the Pho noodles. They do an excellent job it's worth the extra 10 minutes travel time because my wife and I usually go to pho countryside which is closer to where we live. It's all about the broth! And Little Saigon got some damn good broth. Now I know you have to go to a place several times to judge consistency. Even at our usual place the broth quality can vary quite a bit. It still is always generally very good but at our last visit we had to ask for salt which is very rare. So we will have to visit Little Saigon several more times so we can have a feel of the consistency. Service: Super friendly woman took care of us. She was funny and had a great sense of humor. Value: Great value pretty consistent with other places I've gone to that were similar. These Pho noodle places are generally a great value with cheap eats and lots of great flavor Bathrooms: Very clean Would I return? Excellent service. We go there regularly now and the waitresses know our orders. We routinely order the Pho. The beef is fresh, they use the best cuts of the bone to make it flavorful, and the vegetables and herbs on the side are always fresh. They encouraged us to try a few different items off the menu so we tried the avocado smoothie and pork spring rolls. Both were great. I have brought my extended family and friends here, some who were skeptical to try ethnic foods, and they were pleasantly pleased as well. One time we went there, the chef was trying out different versions of their Pad Thai so they asked us if we would do a taste test for them. Wound up here one night in search of Vietnamese food. We were up sold on a few items (we're a rather easygoing group) - no regrets! The owner knows her stuff and her suggestions are great. She was super friendly and happy to suggest items. We all ordered drinks and she advised adding boba. We agreed and boy, we didn't regret it. I grew up with bubble tea, and these were some of the best boba I've ever had - just chewy enough, and FLAVORFUL! Flavorful is the key word here. The broth is perfect - no too salty, not too bland. The noodles were al dente, which is so key for pho. Lastly, they take a while to prepare the food, which is a nice departure from the super fast pho in Chinatown. Once you taste the food, you know they've been working hard in the kitchen to make sure everything's on point. read more

Formerly Pho Little Saigon now under new ownership. Some of the good things about this restaurant remain the same: nice clean space, good service, full bar, and varied selection of Vietnamese dishes. However, there has been a significant decline in the food itself. The meats for the Pho are too chewy and the broth no longer has as much of the fragrance associated with pho flavor. The Pad Thai is mediocre and unidimensional, oily and overwhelmed with fish sauce. The restaurant now has an unpleasant chemical smell that may be from a poorly chosen air freshener. The bathrooms have a different unpleasant chemical smell that emanates from the plug in air freshener. There are quite a few competitors in the area for Vietnamese food and Pho 98 needs to step up its game if they are to succeed. read more

I have been here 3-4 times in the past year. It's not the only Vietnamese restaurant in the area but stands out for warm, efficient service and a cozy atmosphere. Huge menu, my favorites are pho ga (chicken noodle soup), bun (cool vermicelli noodles topped with choices of grilled shrimp, chicken, pork and/or egg rolls), and the goi cuan (salad rolls - sort of a cold mini-burrito with lettuce, mint, shrimp and pork inside a soft rice noodle wrapper and a wicked good sweet peanut sauce to dip in). They have many very authentic dishes (will I ever get to try the goat hot pot? Maybe one day) and very fresh fish and seafood. read more

Ordered take out and they messed up my order. I ordered two noodle stir fry dishes: 1 pork/1 tofu. Both were tofu. The food was good, but not great. We still prefer Pho So 1 in Randolph but we are willing to give Plum Bistro another chance. Restaurant is very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly but seemed overwhelmed even though there were only 3 tables being served. I was told that there were "a lot of take out orders." My fiancée and I were trying to find somewhere to try pho for the first time and when searching through Yelp found Pho 98. Based on the reviews, we went for lunch one afternoon. First and foremost, the exterior is unassuming, however inside, the interior is wonderfully decorated! It was very clean as well. We both ordered #30 and we shared an appetizer of #6. Both were excellent. The size of the pho bowl was unbelievable! There's easily 3 meals in 1 bowl and only for $8.95! The spring rolls were so fresh, I personally wasn't a huge fan of the pork patty in it, but my fiancée liked it. The service was phenomenal as well. The waitresses were very attentive and helpful, and we even got confused for regulars because of the way we ordered! Overall, an excellent experience and we will definitely be back again soon. read more

Delicious food! The broth is reason enough for me to make the 15-20 mins trek from our home in Canton. We have ordered many dishes - from the fresh spring rolls to the Korean bbq rice plate, but the pho is our number 1 go-to for days when we are in need of comfort feed (the #29 is our fave!). The Thai tea with boba is always cold and just the right amount of sweet. Just really great place with amazing food and service. The staff is efficient and timely. They always seat us right away! New cooks? Good question. The pho broth has changed. It had definitely gotten sweeter. I'm not liking the change. Bun bo Huey has changed too. The pork feet pieces are cooked until soft and tender anymore. Taste funky now. The beef tendon was not cooked tender either. Again, not sure what happened. But in the 3+ Times that I have been there since my last review, it is changed. The chicken, beef, and bun bo Huey are not as good now. read more

This place is great and serves up my favorite bowl of pho. I'm a big fan of the chicken skewers for an appetizer. They have a nice char on them, are tender and have that perfect texture and juiciness that a chicken skewer should have. And of course for the main course, a big, wholesome bowl of pho with thinly sliced steak, brisket and meatballs. I like to get experimental and put lime, basil, bean sprouts, hoisin sauce, sriracha and chili oil into my bowl, which gives the broth an added freshness, some sweetness and a nice spicy kick. This place gets your food to you quick as possible, the staff here is very friendly and the soup warms you right up during the fall and winter, would certainly recommend checking this place out! read more
