I love Asian fusion restaurants…read more Highly recommend the crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks!!! 9/10 They're crispy and unique. Kinda heavy on the cream cheese and not sure how much crab they actually put in there but was bussin nonetheless. Their drinks are also so good and I LOVE Asian fusion drinks! Their henny mango drink was good. 10/10 And Thai tea martini was good!! 10/10 Love the creativity and execution, strong, flavorful and unique. Their portions are big enough so don't over order like we did lol We also got the chicken wing special and the picture looked better than the actual dish it was p much sweet and sour chicken wings. Not bad but I would skip 7.5/10 Beef broccoli was good but salty wish it came with rice and it lowkey came out cold, if it was hot I think it would've been v good. 8/10 Short rib tbh was just a baby back rib I was hoping for more Asian flavor over bbq. was still good but nothing revolutionary 8/10 Soft shell crab also came a little cold, I've had soft shell crab at a Michelin place in Vietnam so my standards were pretty high for this one. It was ok! Small amount of crab and had a slight bitter taste some bites. 6/10 Duck bao, pretty average. 7/10 My piece had a big piece of fat and I wish the skin was crispy, was ok. Ordered way too much cause the menu is GIGANTIC. we couldn't choose. So big back = big bill lol. Service is standard, our waiter was nice but the restaurant had made a mistake on our order and still charged us for it, they made the correction but the manager should've just took the mistake off the bill completely as it was the lesser priced items out of our big bill.

The restaurant is very clean and put together well, you can tell they pride themselves on staying clean! To start, we got some spicy edamame (be warned it does actually have a little kick!) For dinner, my colleague and I split a few things: Salmon nigiri Yellowtail nigiri Unagi maki roll Spicy salmon maki roll Spicy tuna maki roll Each roll was very tasty, offering unique flavors in each. Overall, the meal was very filling, delicious, with great service and a fair price. I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you're nearby!

Amazing dining experience! We came here with another couple to celebrate my birthday…read more We were not disappointed! From the start of the meal to end it was perfection. The ambience and decor was modern and inviting with beautiful det Our server, Andy was attentive, and provided great food recommendations. He brought us 4 glasses of champagne on the house at the start of the meal for my birthday which was a very nice touch. We were also excited to learn about the "hidden" traditional menu, and ordered some items from both to all share tapas style. The rosé sangria and lychee martini were so good. The Viet crawfish noodles, corn dip with shrimp chips, lobster roll, egg roll, spring rolls, and pho were some of the most umami and delicious flavors I've had in a long time. We ordered everything at the same time and the service between items was timed out perfectly by the staff. We will definitely be back here! It was an amazing flavor experience.

I brought a friend who pretty much only eats authentic Việt food and is normally VERY critical of Việt food lol. I told him to come with an open mind and appreciate Việt fusion for its balance of flavors, creativity, and freshness. We absolutely loved it -- and he literally fought with me for that tần ô salad and Cajun noodles. From the Cajun crawfish noodles, lemongrass crispy lobster roll, tần ô Caesar salad, roasted eggplant, bún riêu empanadas, to the refreshing cold tomato noodles... just big, fresh flavor bombs. Being a Việt chef myself, this is a 10/10 on execution across the board. Service was excellent too. And please tell the guy who made that sinh tố bơ sầu riêng -- that was perfection! We'll definitely be back for more.

The service was good, our waiter just seemed a bit rushed since he pretty much was the only person servicing the section of the restaurant where we were. This restaurant is pretty big, and has a parking lot. If you are interested in trying the all you can eat hot pot experience you have to make sure that everyone in your party is there the service is timed at 90 mins. We spent $200 (with tip) for 3 people which also included cocktails.... Also please note that in this service, there are sushi options available as part of the all you can eat..... if you do not finish your sushi, they will charge you $1 per sushi... we ended up having to pay an additional $6 for the sushi we didn't eat however my friend was able to take it home with her.

Space is small but homey - a little drafty by the door though so if you come during the winter, try to sit away! The menu has a great selection of dishes from appetizers to sharables to entrees. I highly recommend the full fish - fried and delicious. The hot pot soup is also super flavorful and great to split with a friend. Their papaya salad is also EXTREMELY spicy, be warned! Overall, I happily will return to this spot whenever craving Thai food. Good portions, friendly staff, and tasty food!

Fighting Fish Thai Cuisine is a small restaurant located in an industrial area near Encore Resort…read more Despite its modest size, the restaurant is cozy and air-conditioned, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal even on a hot day. We started with the pork jowls appetizer. They were flavorful on their own, but the accompanying dipping sauce added an extra layer of bold flavor for those who want it. For our main dishes, we ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup with chicken and the Pad See Ew at a medium spice level. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly seasoned. A word of caution: their spice levels are definitely on an authentic Thai or Asian scale. If you're accustomed to typical American spice levels, medium here may feel quite hot. I love spicy food, so the medium level provided a great balance of heat and chili flavor. My husband, however, found it too spicy. The Tum Yum noodle soup featured a rich, savory broth with just the right amount of sourness. While I really enjoyed the dish, I noticed that many of the noodles were broken into shorter strands. We also shared the Thai Chili Fish, which came with two large deep-fried fish fillets and a generous bowl of sweet and savory chili sauce. The sauce reminded me of sweet-and-sour sauce but with a stronger chili kick. The flavors were fantastic, although the presentation could have been better. The host/servers consisted of just two people, but both were friendly and welcoming. The woman serving us was especially funny and entertaining, which added to the overall experience. Overall, I had a great meal and would definitely return whenever I'm in Boston. There are several other dishes on the menu that I'm eager to try.

Too Hot is the sister restaurant of Noah's Kitchen in Brookline, which is one of our favorites!…read moreWe've been eyeing this place to try for a while but they were closed for more than half the year due to a water pipe issue and renovations, so we're happy that they finally were able to open back up in September. They're located in Harvard Sq., right by the Gyu-kaku. We did walk-in around 6pm, which was perfect because we got a table for 2 immediately without reservations. Definitely recommend making a reservation though because on our way out, there was a whole line waiting for tables that went almost out of the door haha. We took a while to figure out what we wanted to try but ended up ordering the following dishes: - dry tossed handmade wontons (8) - signature "strange-flavor" bang bang chicken (basically cold chili oil chicken) - Yunnan-style spicy chicken - Kung pao lava tofu - must-try twice cooked pork belly with crispy rice - 2 rice - 2 Diet Coke Bang bang chicken was not what we thought it would be. It was pretty much cold chili oil chicken dish. It was okay. I'm pretty sure they also have this at Noah's. Kung pao tofu is one of our favorites to order whenever we eat at Noah's Kitchen & this was exactly the same dish. Highly recommend if you like tofu!! It's really delicious. Dry tossed wontons were just okay. Seems like the filling is all minced and like eating a meatball. Not the same as Cantonese wontons. Not spicy. I wished the Yunnan style spicy chicken was spicier. It was very mild to me. I ended up crushing all the peppers in the dish with the spoon to try to make it taste spicier but didn't really help. I did like the chicken though! It was cooked perfectly & not dry at all. I was just expecting it to be spicy & it wasn't for me. The twice cooked pork belly with crispy rice was nice. I liked the thinly sliced potatoes... really addictive to eat. Great flavor. I just wished that the pork belly wasn't so fatty and they gave some leaner pieces. Overall, our dining experience at Too Hot was very similar to Noah's Kitchen. I felt like it was the same type of food & they had many similar dishes on their menu, just named slightly different. I recognized many of the staff members! Food is solid & really great if you're looking for Chinese food in the area. I'm still struggling to find Chinese food in Boston that is actually spicy but that could just be my spice tolerance! They do flavors well though at both Too Hot & Noah's Kitchen, so will for sure be back. Parking: can be a pain but there's 2 hr meter parking (pay until 8pm) on Mount Auburn St.

It was our first time here, and the first thing that stood out was the price. We thought Seattle was expensive, but this was on another level. The food came out hot and at a reasonable pace, but unfortunately, the taste just wasn't there for us. The fried pork was especially disappointing because it was very chewy. The one highlight was the fried mushrooms, which we really enjoyed. Overall, for the price and the food quality, it just didn't feel worth it. Probably won't be back.
