She was very sweet though and I was happy. The food was delicious and the menu looked fantastic. The fried squid was just above average and not as good as sone other places in town. The home made Ma dumplings were recommended and were great. The soup was pretty good too. I certainly will be returning to try many more items. Definitely a hidden gem. read more

Reminds me of the old Fuji (except better). The drinks are good, I had a lychee martini and my server is a really nice woman. We ordered the chef boat for two and also a dragon roll. Good sushi except some of the sashimi had veins which was bleh. If there was no veins it would be superb sushi. I liked the booth we had. It's a pretty big restaurant with a big bar. Families started coming in when we did which was after 6pm on a Sunday. The miso soup had lots of seaweed and good tofu - very fresh tofu. There is Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. GPS did forget to tell us to turn so we drove right by the restaurant. I would definitely come back here when I'm in Quincy!!! (just hope they will get better fish without the veins though....it was all very fresh, but don't get the squid sushi, it's very chewy.) read more

This review is geared towards the Chinese takeout side of their offerings. Haven't had the Japanese yet. First time ordering was a lunch for one. Second was a feast supposedly fit for eight, but for a family of three. I've tried multiple offerings, and still struggle to provide a bulleted list of my thoughts per-item. What wasn't fried was bland, and was significantly weighted down by a bland sauce that made the food as drab as the cardboard smoothie you made yourself in an attempt to keep your new year's resolution. My first time around I had Crab Rangoons and General Gau's chicken. Rangoons were a little on the softer side, and the filling was lacking when it came to crabbiness. The chicken was pretty standard as far as Gau's chicken goes... except for spiciness. Though ordered hot and spicy, and there were red pepper floating in the sauce, there was no heat. Even chewing through the pepper did nothing, as if they had spent do long boiling in the sauce all the spice was lost. In my second order, I also got Rangoons, but this time got chicken wings, mushroom beef, and chop suey, beef fried rice, and Pan-fried noodles. I also asked for no shrimp with the order. The rangoons this time around spent a little too much time in the fryer. Plus, the filling took on a sour taste (without any more crabbiness). Similarly, the chickens wings had also spent a little too long in the fryer. Mushroom beef was a standard Americanized-Chinese flat strip of meat that was doing laps with mushrooms in the aforementioned brown sauce. All it took was a little black pepper to add some flavor. Beef fried rice included the same strips of beef, sans-brown sauce. Otherwise, rice was uninspired and unremarkable. Then again, without lobster sauce, this style of rice rarely is. Pan-fried noodles were a disgrace. Rather than being together with proteins and vegetables, a container contained a circle of noodles that could be eaten like a potato chip! Yes, really, it was that naked and overdone. There were also several containers of large chunks of veggies (one of which also contained chop suey towards the bottom). All of these also were downed in a sauce that took the life out of them. All it took was a little salt and pepper to add some life to them. (Also, wasn't one of these supposed to be in tandem with the potato ch...sorry I mean the pan-fried noodles? I will give their Japanese offerings a chance, but for Chinese in Quincy, the search continues. read more

Not a bad spot! Has a huge variety of cuisines on their menu so it's a good place to go if you're not sure what you're craving. Convenient location with a parking lot, street parking and plenty of space inside the restaurant. Pad Thai noodles are good but the shrimp was kinda bland. Udon was tasty, lots of flavor in there and the beef was cooked well and wasn't too chewy. Sushi had a good ratio to it. Overall, average food. Been here a few times and ordered takeout from here multiple times already. Food is fairly decent and the lunch specials are very reasonably priced. If you eat in and order their Chinese lunch specials you also get a free bowl of hot & sour, egg drop, or miso soup with your order. Last time I came here I got the Maki Tray (spicy salmon & eel avocado) just to switch things up a bit. Their sushi is definitely fresh and they are not cheap on fillings and ingredients. Overall very good sushi. Their salad dressing though, needs a ton of work. It's pretty thick and goopy and not very pleasant in texture or flavor. Why the 3 stars? Their wait staff, specifically these 2 waiters needs to work on their service. I asked for an iced water twice only to never receive it and instead got a hot water. At this point, I was thirsty enough to not even bother anymore. Another person at our table asked for hot mustard and they never came back with it. Our waters were never refilled until the bill came and when we asked for more water. I also saw that the waiters messed up the orders at another table nearby. Service could definitely be improved as it appears that the waiters really doesnt give a damn about their customers. I ordered takeout today because I'm home sick and Miso soup sounded so delicious. My boyfriend picked up the order, and when it arrived I had accidentally been given Egg Drop Soup instead of the Miso. Though the Egg Drop was tasty, it didn't hit the spot I was hoping for with the Miso. I called and the gentleman I spoke with was so kind and apologetic, and said he would check if the delivery driver could drop off my soup. Within 20 minutes it was on my doorstep, hot, and it was everything I needed it to be. 5 stars for the gentleman I spoke to on the phone, and for the delivery driver. We order an assortment of appetizers and my personal favorite are the mama dumplings and the thick wrap Peking ravioli are also great.
