The food, efficient service and environment was amazing. I actually rolled into this restaurant a few years ago randomly on a rainy day. The pho, vermicelli, spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee were phenomenal! Many places these days do not add a lot of meat, but this place does not skimp out and that's even with an extra small or small size! Whenever I get the chance to stop by the south shore I absolutely come down here.
If you love noodle soups, you'll love Pho So 1! LOCATION: Located in a strip mall, there is a lot of parking available! The space is fairly big but it does get filled up pretty quickly. FOOD: Get the Bún Riêu and Nem Cuốn! One of the best crab and tomato soups I've ever had! It's packed with a lot of flavors and most importantly, the crab! There's only one size so be prepared to eat a lot! The pork spring roll was delicious at all and highly recommend. SERVICE: The staff was so nice and food came out pretty quickly!
In my opinion, this spot has the best phở that has had my family coming back consistently for as long as I'ved lived‼ Their Phở Đặc Biệt broth has the deepest flavor that no where else in the Northeast has been able to replicate in addition to having high quality meats (rare beef flank, brisket, tendon, meat balls), vegetables, and great portion sizes at an affordable cost! Bún Bò Huế, a spicy beef and pork noodle soup, is another dish I highly recommend here because they also don't hold back on their toppings of beef slices, pork, and fresh vegetables on top As for appetizers, my family loves their eggrolls and their fried chicken wings And you can't miss ordering their thai milk tea, sinh tố bơ (avocado smoothie), nước dừa (coconut drink), and of course their cà phê sữa đá (vietnamese iced coffee) Must try: Phở Đặc Biệt (variety beef phở soup) Bún Bò Huế (spicy beef & pork noodle soup) Cánh Gà (fried chicken wings) Chả Giò (fried egg rolls) Thai milk tea w/boba Nước Dừa (coconut water drink) Sinh Tố Bơ (avocado smoothie) Cà Phê Sữa Đá (vietnamese iced coffee)
My go to order is Bun Tom Tau Hu Ky (rice vermicelli with grilled shrimp and fried shrimp paste inside of tofu skin). Their grilled shrimp is always so juicy and has the greatest char on it. They are pretty generous with the filling of the Tau Hu Ky, most places put a paper thin amount of shrimp paste but theirs is quite thick. I always order a drink along with my meal, I highly recommend their avocado shake, Thai tea (less sweet) and Viet iced coffee (less sweet).
Not sure if this Pho So 1 is the same as the one in Quincy, but this one is so much better! The menu is a bit different so I was not sure if they have any relation to each other. I ordered the catfish clay pot, a rice plate, as well as an avocado smoothie, and pineapple smoothie. We did start with egg rolls for an appetizer, which was yummy. The catfish was delicious with the sauce that I could not help but dress onto my rice. I finished all of my rice, which is super rare. The rice plate was also made well. I totally suggest coming here for Vietnamese food if you're looking for a great one to try!
This is probably the best Vietnamese restaurant in Randolph. The service is great and the staff are super friendly. The restaurant itself is clean with limited tables with plenty of parking. Takeout is a very popular option. The spring rolls taste fresh with a good peanut sauce. It's a pretty good price for an appetizer. The pho was really good with a good amount of meats and the broth is delicious. The food comes out very quickly.
Hands down the best pho restaurant in south shore! All of the food is always fresh and comes out quickly even when they are packed. Sometimes they can have quite a wait if you come during prime dinner time so we usually try getting there early to beat the line! I always get the fresh spring rolls and the seafood noodle soup which is made with a chicken broth. They have a lot of different options outside of pho including some traditional plates, rice plates, and more!
Pho So 1 Boston is my family's favorite restaurant to eat at. We ordered two orders of Spring Rolls, Fried Chicken Wings, Grilled Sliced Pork Rice Plate, X-Large Special Combination Pho, and Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. For appetizers, we always order two orders of the spring rolls. We normally order the roasted quails but we were more in the mood for fried chicken wings. The fried chicken wings were very yummy but I prefer the roasted quails. For main dishes, the grilled sliced pork rice plate is a go to order. The entire dish balances out very well. The rice with the meat and pickled carrots blend perfectly. The pho is amazing. The meat is tender and soup is addicting. The bean sprouts are also very fresh. The meat in the beef noodle soup wasn't the best but the noodles and soup itself were good. We were stuffed by the end of our meal. The food was too good, we couldn't stop eating. I can't wait to come back in the future and eat more food!
Not comparable to the other pho 1 in Quincy . My pho came out cold and not that presentable . I ate like 1/4 of it and the coffee was too sweet . Everything lacks flavor here along with the rice dish. Staffs was not really welcoming.
Tried out Pho So 1 at random based on Yelp reviews and mainly based on who was still open at 9.30pm!Ordered a Vermicelli bowl and Lomein for takeout. The place did not seem that busy for a Friday late night, but the server who took our order on the phone sure was impatient. Our order was ready for pickup in 10mins. The restaurant is relatively medium sized with seating for about 50, pleasant ambiance. The food was just ok and nothing to tempt me to try again. Both the Vermicelli Bowl with Chicken and the Lomein with sauteed beef were lacking in spices or heat (ordered medium spicy).
Nice pho spot with plenty of parking in the Plaza Place is somewhat busy with plenty of people coming in for take out orders and dining in Cafe sua da is pretty good. Nice blend of coffee and condense milk Pho tai bo vien is delicious and taste exactly like it should. Broth is hearty and great on a cold day. They put in a good amount of meatballs too Bun bo hue is average at best. Soup base flavor is not quite there. It comes with too many tendons for my liking Service was pretty quick to take order and bring out food. It just took a while to bring out the check even though we were sitting right in front of counter lol

The variety of condiments help suit my appetite by making the perfect broth. Love it. The crew served good. Except during rush hour so expect a bit of delay. The place is clean and neat. Very neutral and simple which i like.
I knew this was a local favorite when I saw a line of patient customers waiting to be seated. Don't let all the purple/teal signage deter you from entering. We got the pho dac biet (beef broth and noodles with eye round, brisket, flank, tendon, and tripe), bun bo hue (spicy, hearty noodle soup with noodles in fragrant lemongrass beef and pork) and com ga nuong (grilled chicken with rice, cucumber, carrots, radish). All dishes were sooo flavorful and the portions were quite generous. It is worth the drive out here for delicious Vietnamese food. Staff were efficient with ordering and cooking so tables were turned around and the line went quickly. Highly recommend a visit. read more

I'm a sucker for good pho, and I'm so glad I found this hidden gem!!! The service was great, very attentive and informative! The overall vibe of the restaurant was very welcoming and quaint. For dinner I got the hot tea and veggie pho and it hit the spot! Will be back!!! read more

The pho here is not my favorite, something a little lacking in the flavors compared to the other pho that I have had. But the bon bo hue, was pretty good - loved the generous amount of meat in there and just overall size of the bowl. Squeeze some lime juice in there and it really balances out the flavor. The pho's XL is no joke - massive. We usually finish our pho but this time we had to take it home. We visited this spot during one of the frigid "feels like Antartica" days and boy did the soups hit differently then. There is table service but its kinda like pick your own seat and someone will come by with a menu and hot tea - I love places that serve you tea. The service is quick, the portions large, the food is decent (just not my favorite pho). read more

Went here for take out on a Monday night around 6pm and I was surprised to see how busy it was inside. There were probably about 25 people dining in. The venue has a hole in wall type feel with modern signage (see my photo). I ordered yellow curry stir fried with chicken and white rice and it came to $17, which I thought was a bit overpriced since it's outside of Boston. The portion was big but I didn't really like my dish at all, I'm not sure if what I ate was standard or if I just had a bad dish. The stir fry texture was very slimy and made finishing my plate a chore. I had plenty left over in the tray, but probably won't be finishing it. I'm not against trying another dish here, but the one I had didn't do it for me at all. read more
Really good service here, the staff was friendly and also seemed to know many of the customers which is awesome. The food was really good. I have heard good things about this place and wasn't disappointed. Lots of parking and a nice clean environment inside. The fried rice could've been more flavorful, but they supplied hoisin sauce, Sriracha and soy sauce to help add flavor. The food arrived super fast - less than 5 minutes after we ordered which was awesome. Will be returning to try to pho next time. It's very good, solid and I would dine here anytime. It's not too far and my Pho was an easy 5 star. Really big menu, a big dining room and good service. Please be sure to lock your car and don't talk to anyone approaching you. We saw a couple of unsavory's walking the lot and looking for an opportunity. (Pretty much a point off for that.) I had friends from Randolph, it was a great, safe town back in the day. Now it's a suburban hood like all the satellite towns around the city. With that change comes good, cheap and culturally diverse food. SilverLinings.org My seafood Pho was a huge bowl chock full of fish a few scallops and shrimp. I like it when they have 2 or 3 sizes for Pho. Of course, I get the largest size and why not for only another couple bucks. The broth was on the expected bland side and in need of enhancement. I'll get the beef next time. The summer roll looked good, the wrap was a bit thick and caused the roll to be chewy. I need to try it again. The peanut sauce while plentiful was loose and also not strong enough of a flavor. Overall: Price was good Food was good Service was good = 4 read more
The perfect spot to go on a cold night! I went on a Friday at 6 and there was already a line for seating, but the wait was less than 10 minutes. We ordered a bunch of food, including fresh rolls, shredded chicken salad, salt and pepper calamari, a pork rice platter and a seafood noodle soup. All of the food came out so fast that there was barely enough room at the table (see picture ). But it was all incredibly delicious and I cant wait to go back read more
One of my favorite pho spots. I am here at least once a week, and I loved that they have kids size pho because my daughter loves this place. This is the only place I have seen with this. We have tried a few things on the menu, I will update photos at a later time. read more

I am Vietnamese. I can cook Vietnamese food, and have high expectation when coming to a Vietnamese restaurant. The place doesn't have to be fancy, but I expect the food to be authentic!! If you have watched Ali Wong's show, you would learn as a matter of fact, a very good Vietnamese restaurant with amazing authentic food normally has a size a little bigger than a closet and terrible Yelp reviews!! I am just giving you a little background of our world be appreciate what this place brings: Not only that the food is good and authentic, it also caters to a lot of Americans with decent size and decent service. During the 2 hours that I was there, I saw the population of customers came in was very diverse! And again, the food is still AUTHENTIC!! That is my first and foremost requirement!! This time my friend ordered Vietnamese pancake. I got spicy beef noodle. I can make Vietnamese pancake at home. In fact, I just made some last week. However, to make that spicy beef noodle at home would be a lot of work!! There are so many different things you need to put in and it takes 3-4 hours at least to make the broth!! The spicy beef noodle was really good!! And it was a lot!! It would be enough to feed me twice!! My daughters shared a bowl of PHO and they loved it!! We also got an avocado smoothie!! That was made with real avocado, some condensed milk, I could taste. The texture of the boba was JUST about right, soft, not hard and chewy! Def a great place to dine in as a family!! I came here with a friend around 3pm on a Sunday. The place was packed! I was torn between the seafood pho and the grilled chicken plate and ultimately went with the chicken. It was so juicy and tender and a massive portion size. Comes with tomato, cucumber lettuce and fish sauce. Took half home for dinner My friend enjoyed her soup as well. Server was super friendly. Every time I am in the Boston area, I have to come here. They have hands down the best selection of dishes (noodles, rice plates, apps). Like most Vietnamese restaurants, this place is super casual and laid back. If you're looking for attentive service and being checked in on, this is NOT the place for you. We had #3 (Fresh Sour Grilled Ground Pork Spring Rolls) as our appetizer. The spring rolls come with a fantastic peanut sauce. The one downside of this experience is that I found a hair in the peanut sauce when dipping my spring roll in (YUCK- automatically deduct a star). Just make sure when you are eating you are paying attention to what you are putting in your mouth. My dining companion and I both got Vermicelli bowls. They were very large bowls that were filled to the brim. I got the one with grilled chicken and spring rolls. There was a lot of grilled chicken and then one spring roll. The other one was the flat fried shrimp cake and grilled pork. Both bowls were very flavorful. With the 2 vermicelli bowls and an appetizer of the spring rolls our bill was $33 with tip, not a bad price at all for the food we got. If you aren't the biggest eaters, you can always split on of their dishes! read more
