    Pho Ga

Pho Ga here really hits the spot! The chicken is perfectly tender, the broth light yet flavorful, and the portion is generous. Everything tastes fresh and balanced. Friendly, attentive service and a cozy vibe make this place a gem in Dedham--you won't be disappointed!

Pho-nomenal!! Haha. Pho 29 hit the spot for me on this cold and dreary day. They are located in what appears to be a downtown area in Canton. When you walk inside don't expect anything fancy. It's a basic set up with about 10-15 tables. When I got there around 1, they had quite a few of the tables filled, which is always a good sign. The sever was friendly and got me seated right away. The pho was just what I was hoping for. Flavorful broth with a balanced amount of beef and noodles. Came with all the fixins with exception of jalapeños. Not a huge deal. They only have the one size bowl, so be prepared to have left overs. Prices are good for the quality of food. My large bowl was $13. Great local spot that has great service and food. I'll def be back for more. Be sure to check their hours before heading out. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.

I went here today after trying on some bridesmaids dresses at Chrissy's with the other bridesmaids. We kinda went on a whim since it was right across the street and we were hungry. In a way it kinda reminded me of the local pho shops in Asia, how most of the restaurants are also the people's homes. It felt a little homey, small open kitchen to the customer eating area where you can actually see them cooking. A few tables in an open space, probably 5 tables or so. Mainly a one man team, I assume the owner, he was the server, cook, and buster. The place had a few customers in it, but he was pretty efficient for working by himself and got the food orders out fast. I think it helped in a sense that there wasn't many options on the menu as other pho restaurants I've been too. The restaurant mainly serves pho and a couple other authentic dishes. Food review: Honestly many of us thought the broth tasted kinda bland, normally I prefer not having to put hoisin to give the broth extra flavor, I prefer to taste the broth flavoring on its own. Slightly disappointing but I don't find many pho places that provide that kind of broth taste. Summary: Low to typical average pho place, nothing amazing. Price was average.

This place is DISGUSTING. The Resturant is horrible. I'm pretty sure they took some old Pho out the fridge and fed it to us. DO NO EAT HERE!

The inside has a really fun upscale lounge vibe with colorful lighting, floral decor, hanging lanterns, and a huge centerpiece tree that makes the whole space feel almost like you are dining in a tropical garden. It feels trendy and lively without being overly loud, which made it a great spot for both dinner and drinks. For drinks, I ordered the mai tai and one of their mocktails. Both were well presented and came in beautiful glasses. The mai tai was refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet like many places make them. The mocktail was also excellent and felt thoughtfully made rather than just tasting like juice. For food, the short ribs pho was fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion was generous with tender pieces of meat. Definitely one of the better pho presentations I have had in the area. I also ordered the sizzling steak pate with baguette, which came out hot and smelled amazing. The steak was tender and savory, the egg added richness, and pairing everything with the fresh baguette made for a really satisfying dish. Overall Monkey Lounge delivers on both ambiance and food quality. It feels like a hidden gem if you want somewhere with strong date night energy, aesthetic decor, and Vietnamese fusion dishes that actually taste as good as they look. Would absolutely come back again.

The aesthetics were so pretty (as you can see in the video I uploaded). They had a short window of time where it's happy hour where you get half off 2 appetizers (per table). We ordered Braised Pork Belly ($12) this was a 7/10 only because it was alot of fatty meat, Wings/Soy Garlic Flavor ($15) 10/10, french fries with the garlic sauce that it comes with on the side ($9), side of white rice ($2.50), for my drink a Blueberry Mojito ($14) 9/10 just wish it wasn't such a small amount with a Hefty amount of ice but it was good. Lemonade for my kiddo ($6.50 she said it was a 4/10) and for dessert Ube Tiramisu ($10.00) 1/10... We weren't a fan of the Tiramisu but overall everything was good. I definitely plan to return.

First impression, this is a large restaurant, very clean and modern with a nice long bar, The lunch specials are 12.50 - 13.50 or so. Not bad. What you get is the main dish and either fried or white rice only. No appetizer and no soup but that's fine, it's lunch and I just need to eat a normal portion of a tasty dish and that is what we got. My buddy got Yu Hsaing beef and hot n sour soup. I tasted the dish and it was delicious especially the mushrooms that had absorbed the mildly spicy yet savory sauce. I got Three Delights which was fine though I believe the shrimp was frozen and understandable as I imagine fresh deliveries were held up due to a paralyzing snowstorm. One minor complaint had to ask for duck sauce and had to ask for tea and was in fact charged for the cup of tea 1.75 I believe. Waiter nice guy, thought funny he was using the universal belt LOL it was probably a size 40 belt and he was a skinny guy maybe a 30 waist, so it did look odd. With the tip was 43 bucks, a bit more than what I like to spend at lunch, but it was a relaxing time. On the way out had a chat with I believe the owner or maybe manager very nice guy. I will come back.
