The best Thai I've had in years! We tried several appetizers and split some entrees. Everything was fresh, delicious, well-prepared and authentic. Service was friendly, fast, helpful and attentive. The music was pleasant and not too loud; the ambiance is pleasant and tables are well-placed and comfy. We will definitely return read more

So glad I finally tried Ruk Mae! We ordered Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, both made vegan. We received large portions, enough to have lunch or dinner for the next day. Both meals tasted great. Ordering over the phone was simple. Paying with card was easy and the woman working at the counter was very nice! We will definitely be ordering again soon. read more

I seriously love this place, been going there for 3 years now at least once a month if not more. The staff is always very friendly and also raise caution when I order Jungle Fried Rice 5 pepper spicy:) The restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh. some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Absolutely a must try if you like Thai food. read more

Excellent food. Super nice staff... I've only done takeout so far... easy to get to My favorite items: - chicken pad Thai - drunken noodles with beef - scallion pancake - spring rolls - crab Rangoon -fisherman madness - Mango and sweet sticky rice - Banana in a blanket read more

My wife loves Pad Thai and I found the drunken noodles it is out go to spot for Thai food

Food is expensive for no reason whatsoever. I've found better Thai food in the Financial District and it's not as expensive as this location in Stoughton . I purchased a very bland Pad-C-U (lol on the spelling) $24 for take out in the same size container they've always use. read more

The best recipes and absolutely delicious dishes that are complex and flavorful. Great service. They will ask you how spicy you like the food and also cater meals towards special diets and requests. My favorite. read more

Dishes are priced for lunch or dinner but no lunch specials per se. A lunch special would normally entail a soup or an appetizer and I think that would help offset the mindset that your paying premium lunch prices for just the dish with rice. Most dishes are from 13.50 to 14.75. Lunch is served in a uniquely shaped dish with a handle. It's deep enough to make it a mini bowl. And thats really how it's served, over rice as opposed to rice in a mound on the side. I'm always going to get Massaman curry with chicken as my baseline on a first visit. The curry was delicious good with enough thin sliced white chicken meat to get your protein fill. Was balanced with crisp green beans, zucchini, broccoli, onion, carrot and plenty of potato. The dish is mildly spiced with a distinct presence of crushed peanuts throughout the sauce. That's a plus for me. It wasn't spicy and I think I might want to turn the heat up next time. I would have liked to had a fresh summer roll but at $7.65 for1 (unless I read the menu pricing wrong) I wasn't doing it for this lunch. There was a steady stream of take outs while I was dining. I think the location is pretty good on Rt 138 in Stoughton almost at the Easton line. Plenty of parking. Honestly nothing extraordinary here but a satisfying meal with nice service by Lane and that's good. One drawback and I struggled with including it here as I know its a pervasive restaraunt industry problem but after finishing and awaiting my bill I noticed the tiniest couple of gnats flying in and around the bowl trying to enjoy a little leftover. Don't blame them but glad I was done lol. read more

Food here is so healthy, taste fresh and clean. I have the pineapple fried rice and the "shrimps in a blanket" Definitely good Thai food!!

Hands down the best drunken noodles I ever had. Went her for the first time last evening. They do takeouts and they do have dine-in options. The place looks very ordinary but is clean and well maintained. We ordered edamame and some tea to start us off. The tea was served is really cute cups, and I really enjoyed that. The lady poured us more refills and I was super happy. The salt in the edamame was just right, a bit of more salt just the way I like it. I ordered vegetable drunken noodles and the first bite just unbelievably amazing and I couldn't stop eating. The spice levels were just right for me, the noodles were cooked to perfection, the vegetables were sautéed just right, the combination of sauces was dynamite and it made one delicious plate of dinner for me. Hoping to go back for more Thai again. So thankful to have discovered this gem in my neighborhood. read more

The food here is incredible!!! Everything we tried was bursting with flavor!! The mango fried rice was addictive!! The panang curry was mouth watering!! And the pad thai was the best I've had in a really really long time!! The restaurant was so clean and the staff was so friendly!! The only negative thing is they are very stingy with the meat. Like really really stingy. But the food tastes so unbelievably good I could never rate this place anything but the highest rating it can get because it is that good!!! read more

Ruk Mae is one of Stoughton's hidden gems which dishes out some of the best Thai food in the Boston area. They're our go-to Thai restaurant and every single experience we've had there has been stellar. The staff couldn't be any sweeter and the food is sublime. They do a great job with Covid-19 safety protocols and I very much look forward to many more meals there in the future. read more

Everything I've had from here has been incredible. Highly recommend the pad see you (especially shrimp), tofu or veggie pad thai and any of the fried rices. Service is great as well, super friendly and every order we've placed here (even a massive one) has come out right every time. They even threw in free chicken spring rolls and extra crab rangoons in our order with a sweet thank you note written on the container last night! I'm so glad to have a great Thai place in the area. P.S. The crab rangoons might seem disappointing visually but you'd never believe how much tastier they are when they're not surrounded by so much wonton. Do yourself a favor and get them. read more

Between their Shrimp Sumai and Mango Fried Rice, my life is changed permanently for the better.

I order takeout here regularly and have never had a subpar meal. The food is delicious and the owner is simply wonderful. I highly recommend the traditional noodle dishes and the curry dishes. read more

Amazing curry and fresh rolls. Really perfectly cooked and seasoned. Would come back again multiple times, we wished we lived closer!

Hole in a wall type gem here. Not cheap but definitely yummy. Sometimes a wait time is long for dinner take away. Lunch service was prompt.

Went for the first time last Friday night. It was so good I went back on Saturday, and again last night. Best Pad Thai I've ever had. Lots of veggies and delish! I pass several Asian restaurants to get there, and it's worth it. read more

Okay, I'm done patronizing this establishment. The owners are really genuinely nice people, however their hours of operations are very limited, at least for myself. More importantly, I can't stand anymore canned baby corn in their vegetable dishes! Moving on to other healthy Asian restaurants in the area. read more

Masaman curry was delicious and Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my taste. Drunken noodles was tasty, but more veggies than noodles. Service was great. read more

Got a takeout of the red curry during lunch. Portion is quite small... like people who wants to go on a diet, this is for you. It also could be that it was lunch hours but still... During dinner hours they don't include rice with the curry... it will cost extra. I was hoping the vegetable would be drench with the coconut curry sauce but it's not. Despite little cons, the flavors was good. I also got Tom yum soup which was so bland bland bland... Coconut soup was really good. So I would recommend the coconut soup over the Tom yum. Soups $4 reasonably priced. Service was great, even when I only ordered takeout, the girl offered me water while I wait which was nice of her. read more

My coworkers and I have been coming here for years and I would have to say that Ruk Mae sets the standard for quality Thai food. I have tried many items off the menu and everything has been outstanding!! The quality and care that goes into this food is top notch. The service is personable and extremely friendly. Even during Covid the staff was extremely accommodating. Enough good things can not be said about Ruk Mae. Highly recommend! read more

2.00001 Stars NOETF: Not Exactly Thai Food. Ruk Mae is located in a strip mall. The interior is clean and I liked the interior. Nice booths and adequate table spacing. I liked the the "Mom" mural and obligatory Thai art. I had fried veggie dumplings that were overcooked and very greasy and, lacking flavor. The pad thai was of the extremely sweet type not my favorite. The vegetables were fresh but too much broccoli (6 pieces) which dominated the dish. More balance with squash (2 pieces), red pepper(1 piece), baby corn (2), stringbeans (2 pieces), zucchini (1 piece). * parking: lot * low end of the scale Thai, very Americanized. * Nice space just wish the food was better. read more

Ruk Mae has some of the best Thai cuisine I've ever had. Started with their version of crab Rangoon, which were super lightly fried pillows of crabmeat. Followed with chicken satay, served with Thai sweet & sour sauce & a Thai peanut sauce to die for. Their hot & sour soup with shrimp is quite spicy, just the way I like (though I like adding some of the sweet & sour sauce for sweet flavor).. For the entree I had the shrimp pad Thai, really delicious (pictured). Rarely do I have dessert but their version of fried ice cream is the best, served with honey drizzle or chocolate sauce (we had both). Small place located in a strip mall but so worth it. The service is also very good and the owner is always on premise & will most likely come to greet you. read more

Ruk Mae - Thai Near Me - Stoughton, Massachusetts

I tried Ruk Mae for takeout after hearing so many wonderful things about it. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, Crab Rangoon, chicken spring rolls, and sesame chicken. The Pad Thai was okay, but didn't have a ton of flavor. I also was disappointed by how little chicken was in it. The chicken spring rolls were my favorite part. They were super flavorful, full of chicken, and came with a great dipping sauce. The Crab Rangoon was also delicious, but they weren't like any Crab Rangoon I've ever tried. The wrapper was incredibly thin, and only partially surrounded the filling. The sesame chicken was great as well, with super crispy breading and a sticky sauce. However the sauce had a lot of tang to it and didn't really taste like a tradition sesame chicken to me Definitely worth trying, but go in with an open mind that some of the dishes with common names may not be what you're picturing! read more

I love Ruk Mae!! The food is always fresh and delicious! They aim to please and always willing to hear feedback and make changes if necessary. And as a regular customer, they usually like to reward me with a free app here or there. I usually order once a week as I love supporting this super friendly family business. And eating their DELICIOUS Thai food:))) read more

I have sooooooo much appreciation for Ruk Mae! I have an infant with an allergy and I've had to cut dairy and soy out of my diet. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to have confidence that a place you are ordering from is taking the time to make a dish that you can have. But, I truly felt that Leng took the time and effort to walk me through the menu items that they would be able to make soy free. And soy free with East Asian Cuisine? It is so thoughtful! I do my best to cook my own food because of the restrictions but with a new infant and quarantining it's nice to have a break and be able to order out! Even more so, the food is delicious and fresh! They used summer squash for vegetables! Loved it! Any of the noodles with shrimp! And the basil fried rice is so yummy! My husband loves their red curry! Overall, they are great with allergies, food taste great and customer service is great! Thank you Leng! read more

I love this place! I am currently on a vegan diet and they make it so easy to be a vegans and love the food. I am a huge critic and I love it! read more

Ruk Mae - Drunken noodles shrimp. Delicious, flavorful but very spicy. Get level 1 spicy - Thai Near Me - Stoughton, Massachusetts

The BEST Thai food around. You can quite literally taste the love it is made with in every bite. The food is absolutely amazing and the people who work and own Ruk Mae are just genuinely warm and kind people. It is a family business which you can feel. Best drunken noodles! read more

Summer roll was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly and explained why the curry could not be made vegan. I had a ginger vegetable dish with almost all fresh vegeys. Shrooms, onions, broccoli, string beans were all fresh. The sauce, for me anyway, too much sodium. The restaurant was spotless, and the serving size was substantial. I'd give 4 1/2 stars if I could. 5 is for places like LV's Lotus of Siam. Not often I find restaurants using fresh vegeys like Ruk Mae. read more

Food was amazing. Orange Chicken was awesome. I got a spicy fried rice and it was the best I've ever had at a Thai restaurant

Tried Ruk Mae for the first time tonight and our meal was delicious! We got Pad Thai with chicken, pineapple rice and crab rangoon. I'm a crab rangoon junkie and let me tell you, these were flippin good. Perfect amount of crunch and creaminess. I could have eaten 20 of those alone. The pineapple rice was perfect. We didn't ask for any meat in the rice as we wanted it as a side dish. It was so good it didn't need anything additional. Very light, fresh, fragrant and delicious. We both got Pad Thai with chicken as our main dish and it was so good. Again, the ingredients tasted so fresh and perfectly balanced. We will definitely be coming back soon! read more

Ordered Ruk Mae again after about a year long break, due to distance & ugh, you guessed it - COVID. I moved to Quincy one year ago, and since then I have not been able to locate a Thai restaurant in Quincy that remotely lives up to Ruk Mae's standards!! One year later, I decided to FINALLY order takeout from Ruk Mae again, because it had been far too long and I finally realized again how much I missed it! I was instantly reminded of why I frequently ordered from them when I used to live closer to the restaurant. I was instantly taken back to those fully satisfied dinners. I always loved Ruk Mae, but wow - one year later, I was taken back to that same feeling. Ruk Mae's is the best. My go-to is Chicken Spring Rolls, Garlic Wings (Spicy), Ruk Mae's Fried Rice, and Spicy Noodles. Yum - Can't wait to order again! Also thank you to Ruk Mae owner & workers. Their hospitality is truly commendable (I've only done take-out). read more

The food at Ruk Mae is at a different (better) level than I have had at any other Asian restaurant. I have lived in Stoughton for many years and have ordered to- go many many times from every Chinese restaurant going back to when the Mandarin House was in town. My son recommended Ruk Mae and I haven't had Thai food many times but gave it a shot. Everything is tasty and FRESH. Have you ever eaten seafood at a Chinese Restaurant and you know you are eating a shrimp or scallop but there is really no taste? Not here. Everything so far has been excellent. read more

Got a 2 meat pad Thai and a Thai ice tea. The tha8 ice tea was okay. The chicken. & shrimp had a few pieces of meat. The plate had more middles then anything. Chicken was thinly sliced. Pricy and small portions are a bad combo. Won't come back read more

I go out of my way to order from Ruk Mae and it's worth it. The good is fantastic and fresh
