This review is solely based on a DoorDash order, I have never been inside this restaurant, so this will be about the food, not service or atmosphere. Ordered delivery and was very happy with the Bún Bò Huế - Spicy Lemongrass Beef Soup (Large Size) and Gỏi Cuốn - Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls. Often when the order delivery the summer rolls are split apart as they expand over time, but these ones arrived fully in tact and were delicious, very fresh. The peanut sauce was good too. I was very happy with the Bun Bo Hue, it wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped but it had great deep flavor, and even had fresh lemon grass! They give generous portions of meat and garnishes. I would definitely recommend and will order again! read more

Pho Kim Loan is always my go-to soit for Vietnamese food with my family. The food is great, service is fast, and prices are reasonable. I have been going here for years since we first heard about them and have never been disappointed since. They can get pretty busy but I have never found it difficult to find a table. The place is usually pretty loud due to the customers talking but it gives a comforting, authentic vibe. read more

I always forget about this place. I need to do better. I ran by on Saturday for lunch and I am so glad i did. I started with the spring rolls in rice paper and peanut sauce. It had shrimp and pork inside and it was fantastic. I usually order the grilled shrimp banh mi sandwich. Today i ordered the chicken banh mi. It was just as good as the shrimp with jalapeno. The service was great and the prices are also great. I will definitely be going back again soon. read more

The food is delicious, excellent customer service, relaxed laid back vibes. This is one of go to places for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

One of our favorite places when we lived in NOLA for 3 years. First stop during our short trip. Food tastes great as always and we asked for a small bowl for our daughter and they came out with plastic utensils and scissors! So prepared for kids! Love them! And they gave her a lollipop too! read more

The small chicken noodle soup Togo was rotten, gotten a bad smell soon after I opened the package. No offense, everyone in my family loves this place every time we go out to eat. This place is amazing for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately my son and I were having some appetizers at the restaurant and got the noodles to go. Btw, this is my opinion on the bean sprouts, please wash it with care before putting them to the to go order. I found a plastic stick which is use for attaching a price tag to clothes) read more

One of the best restaurants on the west! I've been here countless times where I forget to check in because i'm too hungry to think about that and I always leave happy and full. Everything is made to perfection and have you feeling you had a home cooked meal in a Vietnamese household. Service is always A1 and the restaurant is always clean. Definitely one of my top picks if you're looking for Vietnamese food. read more

Pho Kim Loan - Fried spring rolls a the Vietnamese Beef stew was so good!!! - Vietnamese Near Me - Harvey, Louisiana

I heard the restaurant has new management so I wanted to try them out. I didn't get to try the Pho or Bamboo Duck Noodle Soup but my sister says that the Bamboo Duck Noodles Soup was really good and the one that had the Pho says it was ok, nothing special about it. I had the Rice Pork Chop platter and it was delicious and had huge portions. I'll definitely come back and try the Bamboo Duck Noodles Soup next time. read more

Really nice restaurant..very clean. Music in the background and tvs on the walls. My server was very friendly and attentive. My first time here.... THE FOOD: I started with fried Vietnamese pork rolls, with chili oil dipping sauce. Delicious. They came to the table hot, and crunchy. The chili oil added flavor, not much heat, but really flavorful. PHO.. with tripe, tendon, beef flank, and I added beef balls... very good. Some really nice developed flavor. The broth was a bit muddy, though. A nice place. read more

My husband and I love this restaurant! The food is always delicious. I have tried the pho combination platter, grilled pork vermicelli, and pork bánh mì. The prices are affordable, and the food is consistently perfect, with generous portions. The restaurant is nice and always clean. The servers are very kind and fast, always treating us with warmth. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, and whenever I crave a good pho, it's my go-to place. read more

Great place for pho, spring rolls and egg rolls. I like the lettuce that you can wrap the egg rolls in. Good food. Can't go wrong with this place read more

We live in Mandeville, and happened to be on the West Bank for a funeral. Pho Kim Loan is the BEST Vietnamese food we have ever had. It is family owned, which says alot. The Viet coffee is a treat. Best Pho ever, the food is so fresh, it is always crowded, but the food comes out fast. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Worth the trip. read more

This place is about the only place on my side of town that I get my bowl of phở from. Not like most places where they don't have the variety of different cuts and add on. read more

I would give this place 5 stars bc the food is usually good, but I've found hair in my food on two occasions... which is two occasions too many. I do still frequent this place bc my friends and my dude really like the food here. I always either get the bun rieu or bun bo hue. Both dishes have been good every time, minus the hairs. Ask for extra sate if you want that kick to your broth. They give a lots of veggies too! Service isn't always the best, but I don't come to a Vietnamese restaurant expecting great service so not a big deal. When you're done eating, you pay at the counter. read more

This was my first visit. Chose it for the pho, based on the reviews. Definitely lived up to the hype. Ordered the brisket and well-done flank pho. Amazing. Definitely rates as best pho in the area. The broth that came with a couple of rice dishes was also delicious. Highly recommend the grilled pork w/ vermicelli (#33). Fried eggrolls were a little greasy but tasted good. Grilled pork spring rolls are really good (as good as anywhere else in the area). Everything came out fast and was fresh. Perfect if you are hungry and don't want to wait. read more

Amazing! Fabulous! Would highly recommend! I really loved how well I was treated and the food was so fresh. I will be coming back at least once a week for the remainder of my stay in Harvey. Literally some of the best broth I've ever had. read more

These are my people!!! The owners son and daughter, Tim and Lauren are always the best at being helpful. I had recently had a baby and would always order from them. They started to walk out the food to my car every time I ordered!! The owner, who I call the mom, is the one who got mad at me for not even telling her that I had a baby!! That I shouldn't be taking her out of the car and I should've just asked them to take it to my car. So the relationship with them started there and has became the best ever since. They are genuinely great people. What I order on a weekly basis is the chicken spring rolls. They're great. Their peanut sauce is the absolute best! Their pho is always great as well. The place is supper clean and organized. It's always full of people every time you walk in! Make sure this is your go-to spot for pho in the Westbank! read more

We were happy to find this place, a short drive from New Orleans. Came here for lunch and service was attentive and friendly, the food was as good as anything we could get in big city Vietnamese places. Very happy with the quality of the egg roll appetizers and the various Pho and beef stew that our group ordered. Overall a high quality lunch at a reasonable price. read more

Food was great, service top notch, we go here a least once a week. A must for authentic Vietnamese food and ambience.

We have tried this place for 3 times and yeet we love the food here as well as the service. It's a cozy place but the food is really good. I like the Bun Rieu, their Com tam, and their Hu tieu. Especially the Com tam, they nailed it. They still need to demonstrate the springroll a bit better tho read more

The Hostess was polite and friendly. The appetizers came out fast and the beef spring rolls were delicious. The shrimp spring rolls HAD NO SEASON on them (save your calories). The pho was okay, but I'll definitely eat here again. Guys I wasn't sure if the young lady was going to come back and get my card or if I was suppose to bring it to her. I think you should tell folks the flow of the restaurant. Thanks read more

This is one of the best places that I have eaten Pho. The broth is flavor off the chain!!

Great experience today at Pho Kim Loan. I was seated immediately and greeted by my attentive server. I chose the Pho 1 for my meal, but without the tripe and tendon. It was perfect for a sore voice the day after a Saints win in the Dome. The wait staff was great and kept my drink full. Can't wait to go back! read more

This place is awesome! One of the best bowls of Pho I've ever had!!!! Definitely recommend this place.

Their pho broth is good, one of the best in Lousiana!!! I also like how they offer egg noodle and sugarcane shrimp on their menu. Two things you don't see at too many viet places here. One thing I noticed was that it was eerily quiet inside. Perhaps everyone was enjoying their food too much? Maybe they can get a little Michael Bolton playing in the backround. read more

This place has incredible Vietnamese food on the westbank. I can sincerely say Kim Loan is top 2 and it's not #2. Normally, in other restaurants, soup doesn't come with take out so I was very delighted and surprised that I got it! I didn't order the veggies, but that's just me being picky (and fat.) In my personal opinion, I think the portion is always generous here. This is a nice family owned establishment and I love supporting them. The dish I got is very delicious and I also highly recommend the bun bo hue here. So. Spicy!!! Exceptional Vietnamese food, by far the best bo bun hue I have ever ate!! This place is great, staff is very friendly, also the grilled steak spring rolls are a must try, I've always stuck to the grilled pork and shrimp but I just found my new favorite. I have already been back twice while working in the area and brought back my dad who also fell in love with the food, when ordering the bo bun hue make sure to get it traditional and with the glass noodles you won't be steered wrong. My go to bun rieu/bun bo hue/hu tieu place! I eat here probably at least 3 times a month and it's always so good. Broth comes out piping hot and they do not skimp on the noodles or meat. Great food. Great service. Very good place for a time crunch meal. Everything comes hot and fast.

the pho is truly exceptional. there are so many options of what cut of brisket you would like, as well as other meats and vegetarian pho! they also make some really amazing lemonade and tea drinks. I would probably put this very high on my list of favorite pho because the broth was crazy flavorful and came with amazing toppings as well as the usual fixings.
