The com bi suon (porkchop rice plate) and com bo luc lac (shaken beef rice plate) are usually good. However, at today's visit, the com bo luc lac was a miss as it lacked flavor. There are days where it's a miss but there's more so good days than bad. Typical Vietnamese restaurant service. Pho restaurants are usually a quick, eat and go situation. The pho is super reasonably priced (about $9 for XL). My two go to meals here are: 1. XL Pho with tendon, brisket and raw beef. Broth is amazing. Some people might think its a bit salty but I think it's perfect. They also give a crap ton of meat. It's so worth it for $9. You can taste all of the herbs and seasoning and can tell it's been cooked for a long time. 2. Lemon grass chicken: SOOO GOOD. They grill the chicken perfectly so it's crunchy. The lady making the drinks with the plastic gloves on goes into the bathroom with the gloves, comes out with the gloves after using the bathroom and continues to make drinks. There is a short wait for your food but it's all worth it to. The fresh squeezed orange juice is the best my husband says ($5.00+). It does come in a large cup. Probably is a little pricey for the two of us with lunch we had two soups, two main dishes, two squeezed orange juices, one Sprite and it came up to about $77 at lunchtime. My go-to order is a large, brisket pho, but the chicken pho is yummy as well. I've also tried their egg rolls, crab rangoon, and bun bo hue--all incredibly delicious. The service is always kind and speedy, but the quality of the food remains top notch. I also love that when you get takeout they have the option of getting the noodles raw. It helps them not stick together and while in transit and allows for the noodles to keep their integrity once you put together your bowl at home. You really can't beat the value, either. A large bowl of pho will give me at least two servings and all under $15. The pho is their star player, but their vermicelli and rice plates look scrumptious as well. I'm usually on a mission when I come, so I've never gotten around to trying them, but they looks and smell like great choices whenever I see others order them. Depending on how busy this place gets, you can either walk in and choose where to sit or you might have to wait for a waiter to direct you to a seat if it is really packed. One minor issue that tends to happen often is feeling rushed. Once I am seated, the waiter pops up within seconds ready to take my order. Although it is very efficient, I prefer to have a couple of minutes to at least weigh out my options. My favorite dish here is the bun bo hue. Pho Bang has the best pho I have ever had. I have only had pho one other time before, and at this point I may never have it again, but their version was incredible. It seems to be very authentic and most of their customers were Vietnamese. I took that as a good sign. My meal began with grilled pork spring rolls. They were very large, and very good. The pork had a very nice almost smoky flavor that was very pleasant. My pho was the brisket and some other type of beef I cannot recall pho. The broth was perfectly seasoned and had a good depth of flavor unlike my bowl at a different establishment. I would love to be able to describe the flavor in more detail, but in depth descriptions aren't my specialty. But it was awesome. Service was acceptable, but refills were hard to obtain. Prices were very reasonable. It wold be very easy to get in and out for under $10 at lunch. I think this will become my go-to pho restaurant if I am ever able to eat pho again. read more

I just did not find the food very tasty. I had a spring roll. It didn't smell good. The shrimp were flattened, like with a hammer. The menu said "pork" but it was some kind of Oscar-meyer packaged fake-y tasting meat product, that was tasteless. The peanut sauce also was not tasty, kind of bland and smelled strange. Food arrived under the allotted time stated. I got the rare steak round and brisket pho as she suggested and I did a happy shout at first taste of the brisket. It was tenduuuuuh!!!! And the broth...the BROTH! Sometimes I add a little too much hoisin or siracha trying to add some flavor and kick to my pho to get it right. Not this time. I could've drank the whole container by itself! My goodness. So flavorful, meaty, flagrant....just perfect. I didn't eat it all in that one sitting because I was stuffed. Stuck at home during the quarantine and was getting tired of my own cooking, by cooking I mean threw some stuff in a pot and called it spaghetti. Lol. So I ordered food from here. I got the tofu vermicelli and my sister for the lemongrass chargrilled pork with rice. My tofu vermicelli was veganized by choosing the peanut sauce instead of the fish sauce. It was a large enough portion for me, I could have easily had this for two meals if I wasn't so starved for actually good food. The tofu was fried well but beware it is not seasoned. I'm ok with that, I knew that. The vermicelli wasn't clumped together. The veggies were fresh (lettuce and cucumbers). I liked that the pickled veggies (cucumbers and daikon) were in sticks instead of the big slices. I poured the peanut sauce over everything and mixed it all together. The creaminess and sweetness from the sauce was just right. The freshness and crunch from veggies and tofu made it fun to eat instead of having only one texture.
