Pork chop
Anthony T.

The pho broth and the pork chop was flavorful. The restaurant was busy, but staff remain consistent and turned tables around pretty quick. Even with the small space inside, they are able to accommodate many large parties which I came with a party of 15. Definitely a good place to eat if you're craving pho.

Combination pho

Pho and beef stew (bo kho) is soo good here! We came here Thursday around noontime. Very good price for a large bowl of pho. I never get large, but we all had to get it. A lot of toppings in there. Service was ok. They also have the onion in vinegar sauce. Indoor dining only.

Fried eggrolls

One of my favorite fried eggroll joints Everything else is mediocre. This review is for the eggrolls :)

For the price and quality of food I think this place is five stars for sure. The service is nice and quick, it's a little hole in the wall location but endearing, and they have been around for a long time. You can't beat them for value and taste! The pork banh mi is so good, the pho broth is amazing, and I love the Chanh Muõi when it's cold!! We also love the fried spring rolls and number 24 Bún Chá Giò Thit Nuöng, support local!

Grilled pork chop with rice

The food was ok. My family was not happy with food. We came here because it is close to new orleans airport. The pork chop was hard and difficult to chew. It you want a quick bite, it's a great place. However, if you want tastier and better marinated food, I would pick another venue. The restaurant is packed when we're done with our meal. Apparently, this place is doing very well. My family is vietnamese and they can be very critical.

Com Bo Luc Lac(beef tips over rice with tomato and cucumber)
Khalin C.

The com Bo Luc Lac is beef tips over white rice with tomatoes and cucumber to dip in rich sauce. Very good!!!! If you like steak, you will love this dish. The service was very nice. The food came out pretty quick. Nice mid sized restaurant with old style. Will be going back.

I must say that the food is good but what I spent for almost 15 bucks wasn't worth my time and won't be worth yours either

The Bonneville location has a much better menu and taste. This one is very limited. Only beef pho's offered. Very few appetizers.

Love Phó. However, the broth here was not very flavorful . I don't know about other dishes they serve though.

Do they use MSG?

Not to my knowledge. My husband and I are both migraine sufferers and neither of us have ever gotten a headache eating here for several years. We don't taste MSG or have any ill side effects

That didn't last long because it filled up quickly. We were greeted immediately and able to choose where we sat. The waiter took out order pretty quickly. I ordered the combination pho with beef and chicken. The food came out after a few minutes and was piping hot. This is some of the best pho I have ever had. It was so flavorful and full of meat. For $16.95, it was a very large portion. My wife thought it was really good and she doesn't like Pho. I also tried some of her shrimp fried rice and it too was some of the best fried rice I've had in a loooooong time. 10/10. Will return for sure.

I stopped by here around 2pm (after lunch rush) on a weekday after picking up a friend from the airport. The staff were so friendly and helpful even though we left a bit of a mess with the baby deciding to throw her food around after her belly was full. I apologize for the mess and thank you for taking care of us!!! I noticed the staff worked together as a team to take care of its patrons. We ordered the banh xeo- it was very crispy and full of fillings (bean sprouts, onions, pork, shrimp). The banh xeo itself had a noticeable sweet coconut taste which complemented the savory filings. The bun bo hue had a good spicy lemongrass flavor and the meats were tender and juicy. The lemongrass tofu vermicelli was also good! Meal portions were generous and we enjoyed all the food. Nudo is definitely worthy to be added to your list of lunch/dinner rotations. We had a great dining experience there and hope you do too!

I decided on the Mi Xao Don, which is fried noodle with shrimp. One of my favorite dishes! It came out a good size at a reasonable price. Service: The waitress was nice. The food didn't come out all together and instead came out as they were ready which left us waiting for each other to start eating. Drinks: A full drink menu. Just no hot tea. Parking: There is a lot but it's not too large. Outside Seating: It seems to only be indoor seating.

I've tried so many different ones in Texas but very few are even close to the quality and TLC made at Chez Pierre. I can't get enough of the buttery, flaky, golden goodness with each savory bite of pure deliciousness! I pre-order them by the dozen to share with visiting family and friends. Everyone who has tried the pate chaud absolutely LOVESSSS them!!! Take one bite and you'll be hooked for life! And while since you're already here, be sure to grab some deliciously potent Vietnamese iced coffee (cafe sua da) to energize your day. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are legit as well for a quick meal on the go. Have a sweet tooth? Their display is full of the most beautifully crafted and yummy pastries/sweets/etc - pick your guilty pleasure! I like to order their cakes for special occasions. Crowd faves are the fruit chantilly cake or the pandan cake- the cakes are light, airy, and not overly sweet. The Chez Pierre staff are always welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about all their menu items. I've only had positive experiences and I know you will love them too! This is your reminder to hurry over for the pate chaud- I promise you will thank me later :)

The ambiance of all the food in their display cases definitely temps you and just adds an overall stunning visual bling bling ambiance to the entire interior. I started out with a bowl of brisket Pho which was alright but most of the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area make far better Pho at a cheaper price and in a larger serving size. After my Pho I went all oinky-oinky on a selection of their desserts. Overall things were visually impressive but the all important flavor element fell flat for most of the food. I might sample more of the baked goods but I have to say there are better options available in the area. You can still have an enjoyable time sampling some things here and if you've never visited you might find some real winners that tickle your fancy.

Walking in I was greeted with fresh smells & warm smiles. This was a new place for me, so of course, I am taking in all the sights, from the GET CHE MIND RIGHT backdrop, to the wall menus, to the vending machines & all the other signage that provide helpful suggestions. I was shocked to learn of drinks made with kidney beans was on the menu. The kidney beans are said to be sweet. I promised to try it, as it's quite hard to fathom kidney beans would be sweet. That will be my drink of choice next time. But this time, I tried a more fruity drink and It was quite pleasing to me. There was ice cream at the very top and the cashier suggested that I hurry and eat that before it melted I did what she said, and I had two treats in one drink. The ice cream and then the gummy's at the very bottom. It was like eating gummy bears or gummy worms with a dessert drink. Every mouthful was chewy and flavorful. To be noted, there are non-dairy options as well. Don't get scared. So many items to choose from, dessert drinks & banh-mi sandwiches, mango this, kidney beans that... with so many items on the menu that just means I have to return and try more of the concoctions. Shared parking lot. But it doesn't look like most people come and stay alone while. Although there are tables inside where you can sit and maybe do some computer work or read a book the average Joe picks up their drink and goes their way.

It was during lunch time and it wasn't too busy (but it should be!). The restaurant was super clean and tidy as well. Our server was super friendly, polite, and made sure we were taken care of. We ordered some entrees and everyone loved their food! My husband had the phat peaux pho (beef ribs, brisket, rare flank, and beef balls) and he added bone marrow to it for an extra $5. I had the Korean short rib vermicelli bowl while my brother and SIL had chicken spring rolls and the rice pork fecta. My sister had the bulgogi baco and the pho combo (beef balls, brisket, rare eye round). All the pho came with a side of fresh bean sprouts, onions, jalapenos, cilantro, lime, and basil. I tried some of my husband's pho and the best way to judge pho is by the taste of the broth without all the add-ins. The broth was full of umami flavor and with each sip, the flavor became even more prominent. You can absolutely tell they put a lot of love into the broth and that it was simmered for hours to develop such complex flavors. I could have literally drank the broth on its own without hoisin or siracha sauces added to it. The meat was also super tender and I had a bite of the beef ribs and it was so tender that it fell off the bone! The portion sizes were HUGE!!! My husband finished every bit of his pho. My Korean short rib vermicelli bowl was also very huge and they give you ALOT of short ribs for the price. The only criticism I had was that the meat was a tiny bit dry but the flavor was smokey and delicious! The noodles were cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the pickled and fresh veggies that came with it! There were also peanuts as toppings and you get a side of the nuoc mam (fish sauce) to go along with your bowl. I enjoyed how fresh the bowl was and it left me feeling full, but not greasy. My family all loved their appetizers and entrees and there were no complaints. I definitely want to come back to try other dishes and their desserts. I absolutely think the price is worth it for the amount of food you get. I had to get a togo box and it was enough for another meal at home! Definitely check out this place for some good ole Vietnamese cooking!
