Pho tai without any onions. The broth is solid and the bowl was huge. Also ordered chicken wings which were seasoned perfectly.

Pho at this restaurant hits the spot when we were done eating fried foods. The service was fast. You can choose to sit outside or inside. The broth hits the spot for me. Definitely felt alive again after the hearty broth.

Very authentic pho. Best broth I've had on Maui Must try, you won't be disappointed.

We went here for pho. We actually were trying to go to down the hatch but it was too crowded. We ventured around and came across this place. The staff was nice and quick with service. I did not care for the egg rolls. I like that there was extra garnish added. The pho was good. They have a lot of outdoor seating which is perfect for this time of the year.

Definitely check this place out! Several other restaurants had long lines and crowds but Pho Huong Nam felt spacious, more calm compared to other busy Lahaina dining options, and staff were very friendly and attentive. Even on a warm day a bowl of pho hits the spot!

I'm guessing the food here is great for non-vegetarians, because the place is not at all catered for vegetarians- they have very few options. Their Pho is the only decent item. The flavors for fully on point and the pho felt delicate & balanced- not overly salty. On another occasion, they weren't able to make a veggie friend rice because the only vegetable they had on hand is cabbage. The fried rice was still delicious, but I was dissapointed. They share outdoor seating area with Amigos and the Thai place next door, and the whole ambiance in that courtyard is quite lovely. On weekends, they play live music and it's a great place to sit & enjoy :)

IS THE BEST VIET FOOD IN MAUI?! I think so... after having viet food in Boston, nyc and Virginia I would say the BBH here can compare to the ones I've had in Saigon from the little ladies on the side of the road with a cart. The owner was so friendly and telling us about her history with the restaurant. I wish Maui wasn't so far from NYC. I'll be dreaming about the BBH for many years to come. The owner says the broth is made with spices and bones. No extra seasoning powders or bouillon cubes. You can really taste the deeep richness of the broth I barely write any reviews but felt I had to for this place bc the BBH changed my life

This place is LEGIT! So glad we found this place. We were craving Pho and found this place on yelp. Beef pho, chicken pho and spicy noodle soup were all so good. It was hard to find, on the second floor, at the back of a plaza next to a Thai restaurant and across the street from the famous Banyan Tree. Owners were so nice and informed us that they just opened. Food and vegetables looked and tasted extremely fresh. Owner offered us some extra Crispy Fried Rice that he made for the other table. That was the BEST thing we ate on our whole trip! Suprising bits of crunch, shrimp, flavorful and DELICIOUS. Probably the best fried rice I have ever had. It was a hit with our kids as well. We will be coming back here before the end of our trip for some more fried rice and pho. We want to try the banh mi sandwiches next time too!

food is AMAZing here!!!! The best Veit food I ever had in USA. My GF and I order (1) shrimp papaya salad (2) spicy beef noodle soup (3) combination pho I am totally convinced by other reviews: a hidden gem in a small mall

As good or better than anything you'd get in Little Saigon in LA. Awesome food. Bun Bo Hue

Although the restaurant just opened a year ago, but the dishes were yummy. Especially, grill pork, pork chops and fish sauce were yummy. Our kids loved egg rolls as well. These dishes are comparable to yummy dishes in Southern California.

BBQ Pork & Spring Roll Vermicelli Cold Salad

This place wasn't bad considering it's location, which was hidden inside the back of the movie theatre complex off front street. There was a live local Hawaiian singer and outdoor seating available which we were able to sit and order off their menu also. I ordered the BBQ Pork & Spring Roll Cold Vermicelli Salad. It wasn't that bad. It was pretty good actually. I just wished the meat tasted more fresh. I also ordered the 3 colored drink and that wasn't bad either. The ice cubes were a bit bigger than I'd expected usually crushed ice works best for the 3 colored drinks IMO. Only reason I put 4 stars and not 5 was due to the amount of peanuts they put on this dish. It just wasn't expected is all. Otherwise it was delicious.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I've had lots of pho from all over and this is hands down the best pho I've ever had. Got the rare steak pho as well as the fried spring rolls. Just excellent!!

This fried rice is the bomb. You must order this. Totally worth the price coz I've never tasted it elsewhere.

I love this little restaurant hidden in Wharf Cinema Center. My family and I went to Maui and my children were craving for Pho. We looked on Yelp and seen Pho Huong Nam had 5 star ratings so decided to check it out. We are super picky eaters. Anyhow, upon walking into the restaurant, we weren't greeted right away so we ended up sitting down on an empty table. The restaurant wasn't busy but I believe the staff was busy putting orders together in the kitchen which was why no one came to greet us. I flagged down an employee. They were very nice but busy as they seemed short handed. We ordered the fruit iced tea which was soooo good and refreshing. It was the highlight of the meal. Anyone who eats at the restaurant must try this drink. It is totally worth $6.95. My children ordered pho along with my husband and I ordered their specialty fried rice. Everything was good. Their specialty fried rice was Ahhhmazing. It had bits of crunch in it. I ate the whole plate myself. We also ordered the three color drink which was super ono too. If I visit Maui again, I will definitely be back.

Great service. Pho had good quality cuts of beef but the broth tasted too salty. It made me very thirsty after eating it.

We had a sampling of dishes last night and each were amazing. - Adobo ribs are a must try. - Vietnamese crepe is a sleeper hit. It's a crispy crepe with a coconut milk forward mix of meat and shrimp. It's lighter than it seems and fresh - Singapore Noodles are the perfect flavor balance of curry, vegetables and meat. -shrimp tempura were HUGE. They were good but I wished there was more sauce. - pork buns were really good, especially with the daikon and pickles. Our server was also really good, fast and efficient. My mother has pretty advanced Alzheimer's and takes a long time to eat; when I let the GM know that I thought his time allowed was too short and not handicap friendly, he was SO offended and started arguing with me in front of all his customers He said "that was the way they do things"... and that "it's ok, we get many bad reviews." I was so appalled!!! Such a shame, I loved their tuna avo! I don't think the food is worth the rushed service, (their cocktails are also lackluster) but they do have a nice location by the water with pretty sunset. If corporate management changes the policy to make it a more leisurely experience, it could be worth returning. But right now this is such a rushed, high turnover diner experience, not to mention the manager's way of handling customer feedback is rather shocking. 10/20/2026 Updated review based on restaurant's response Thank you for your response but I can't fathom going back to your restaurant after this incident. When I shared my experience with friends in hospitality, food industry, or just simple restaurant goers, everyone was appalled at: 1) the short time allotment per table of 1 hour and 15 minutes as repeatedly stated by your manager (he adamantly said he would show me stacks of receipts of tables being turned over at the duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes, and that was the way "we do business at Star Noodle") 2) the way I was treated as a customer. The fact that Star Noodle has someone at managerial level to not know the basic table time allotment of 2 hours, as you shared, tells me either he's very incompetent (and the company made a mistake hiring him/neglected to train him) or you are lying. Either scenario is not good for the company or your customers. I appreciate the response but unless you replace this gentleman or somehow thoroughly train him in both knowledge and customer experience, I don't see how things can improve.

Noodles and Rice is located in Kihei. There is plenty of parking (free). There is a single-room bathroom for customers. Super clean! The restaurant is impeccably tidy. There was not a speck of dust or a single water stain in sight. Well done! Plenty of seating inside. Very inviting, cozy space. Perfect for late night noodles (and rice)! The staff were extraordinary friendly and kind. The pho was delicious! The Thai chili oil is quite spicy, but tasty too. I wish we were hungrier because their appetizers look good. Sizable, peeled shrimp that needed to be cooked more as they visually and texturally tasted a tad rare. Special Pho The pictures, especially the dark-hued broth, looked so good, I had to try it. This was my first ever beef pho and it was very disappointing. First off, the broth was not hot, a serious flaw for me. Secondly, the flavor was very subtle. I did enjoy the tender slices of meat, especially the meatballs. I wished my carb overload didn't go to waste, but it did. SERVICE: Greeting was immediate and welcoming. Food delivery was quick. Wait staff were friendly but there was no follow up.
