Huong Nam is in the food court tucked in the corner of the Old Navy/Office Depot shopping center by Krank Cycles. It is a true food court, you go up and order and then find seating. The seating area has several family style table. Now onto the Star of the show. My throat is feeling a little scratchy and I was in Kihei craving pho. I did a little search and found this place so off I went. The cashier was friendly and kind. The vegetarian pho is a nice sized portion (leftovers were brought home). I added sriracha, hoisin and jalapeños. I wish I would have tried it before adding them because it was the most flavorful and fresh pho I have ever had. Everything was delicious and fresh from the broth to the noodles to the vegetables. We don't get a lot of soup weather on Maui but I can't wait to go back! read more

It is part of a food court. Seems pretty popular as most people in the food court were ordering from this store. Portion sizes do look larger for the pho. I didn't see that with the vegetable vermicelli that I got. However, the flavors, sauce and overall meal were authentic and tasty. I would go back maybe and try their vegetarian pho. read more

Located in a food court, Huong Nam caught my attention because I wanted the ube tapioca (which was so delicious, I forgot to take a picture). I got the lemongrass chicken on noodles. The portion was a really nice size, enough for 2 meals for me. I was staying at a hotel, so I had to eat as much as I could that day. This was not difficult because the chicken was so good. It was flavorful and moist. I ate all of the chicken and a bit of the noodles. The sauce was tasty and light and the veggies were crisp and fresh. read more

Looked for a place to grr some chicken pho and found this place. They were closing and service was ok. It's located inside the food court at Maui Marketplace. There are lots of seating indoors available. The chicken pho needed more flavor. Will go back and try other options next time. read more

I was happy to see this restaurant open up after the previous tenants left. I have tried them several times and the food is delicious and well made. Some of my favorites are the summer rolls , the cold noodles with the spring rolls and any of the proteins I like the bbq beef and spring rolls. The Pho is also delicious. I like the rare steak, Pho but they are all delicious. I also recommend the green papaya salad. The service is always quick and friendly. I like the decor with the darker wood panels it gives the place a nice look. I recommend this place the food is well made and the service is quick. read more

Extremely disappointed. The employee at the counter was entirely engrossed in his phone and didn't even look up to acknowledge me while I stood right in front of him. Since I couldn't even get service to place an order, I took my business elsewhere. read more

This place hits the spot if you are craving Vietnamese food! My go-to is the fried spring rolls + bbq chicken combo with cold vermicelli. The spring rolls are definitely my favorite with a nice crunch and great flavor, while the bbq chicken is flavored well and a nice protein on the side. The meal is a great balance and it is also relatively healthy because there is lettuce, cucumbers, and pickled vegetables on the side to complement the dish. Highly recommend eating here if you need some quick bites or takeout. read more

Best pho on the island of maui. Located in a food court so no frills here. The service is friendly and super fast. I can say that I'm a connoisseur of pho. I have tried it all and this is the best on Maui. The broth is rich, subtle and clear. The toppings and sauce make it even more delicious. A must try when you are craving some comfort food. read more

Vietnamese comfort food on a windy and rainy day (hurricane Hone visiting, just like me ) We enjoyed our Cha Gio (egg rolls), flavorful, tasty and not oily. Since there no reviews on anything vegan here: there's a vegetarian menu and everything is vegan except for the Garlic Tofu Noodle (has butter). I love the Tofu Summer Rolls! Also the Vegetarian Pho is good to dine in there (can't imagine what it would come to-go in?), except there's barely any tofu so next time I'm seeing if they can add extra tofu for protein. I haven't tried anything else yet. read more

I've been meaning to try Huong Nam, and I wish I had sooner! The food is amazing--honestly even better than Ba-Le. I used to love Ba-Le, but something must have changed because Huong Nam just tops it in flavor and quality. Definitely my new go-to spot. read more

Food came out fast and generous. I got the lemon grass rice and noodle and it was packed full with cucumbers, tomato, and pickled radish and carrots. With a side of sweet and sour sauce. 100/10 would come back here The prices are reasonable and beats all the expensive resort and airport food ten fold. As a Viet person, this food hits home. Sorry for the photo i already ate some of it before i could take a picture it smelled so good read more

Decided to try this new Vietnamese place for Pho on a rainy day. It's located in the Food Court at the Maui Marketplace in Kahului in the former Bale space. There is plenty of seating available. They used to be located at the Wharf Cinema Center in Lahaina before the fires. For now they are open from 9am - 8pm daily, but they may adjust their hours as needed. We came on their soft opening day so they were offering 15% off everything which was a nice surprise. I ordered my favorite, vermicelli with spring rolls. The portion size was good with 4 large spring rolls that were crispy and yummy! The pho was really good too, better than other places. It's nice to have another Vietnamese place to go to. Also so happy to support a business that relocated after the Lahaina fires. read more

I have come twice now for Pho and each time has been delicious, service has been super quick each time.

Happened to be at Maui Marketplace today around lunch, so we popped into the food court and saw a couple new places. I went up to look at the menu and the man at the counter was not helpful at all. He didn't ask if I had any questions, he just looked at me, straight faced, waiting for my order. I was in the mood for a sandwich so I got the BBQ chicken banh mi. It is on pretty skinny bread, but was chock full of stuff. It tasted good, but was a bit dry. I had to add a lot of hot sauce to it. I'd like to come back to try other things to have a better overall opinion of this place. read more

This Vietnamese restaurant is in the Maui Marketplace food court near Barnes & Noble. The counter display and cases are new. There is ample seating as there are only three restaurants left after the pandemic. This was my second time ordering takeout from here, as I have had several friends say they have had good experiences. This time we ordered the shrimp summer rolls, spring rolls with vermicelli noodles, and bbq pork, spring rolls with vermicelli noodles. Total cost was $50. The food was great and comparable to other good Vietnamese restaurants in Hawaii. I would recommend this place for takeout as it has easy access or if you want to have a casual lunch or dinner. read more

Best spring rolls I've had! Came with 4 but we gobbled 2 down before the picture lol! We will be back to try other things!

Huong Nam's spring rolls were decent, nothing to write home about. The cold vermicelli with BBQ pork was similarly unremarkable; the pork was a little dry and the noodles were a touch overcooked. It hit the spot, I guess, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, nor would I actively avoid it. read more

This place is located inside a food court. You order, pay and then pick up at the counter. For $20 a bowl, I wasn't too impressed. My husband ordered their pho and I had the BBH, it was just ok. Nothing special and missing a lot of ingredients that makes it authentic. Came with bean sprouts and basil on the side, but no condiments, not even basic sriracha so it was a little bland for me. My kids had the grilled chicken which was actually good. I miss the hole in the wall pho joint in Lahaina read more

Got the pho and roast pork bun. The pho was better than I would have expected. Tasted clean, not too salty or heavy with the MSG. It's located inside the Maui Marketplace food court next to Barnes and Noble. Definitely a keeper. read more

Well well well... Yelp led me to another pho spot, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much, because we've found ourselves inside of a food court. But the saying goes, "never judge a book by its cover"... I ordered my standard, combination pho, and to my surprise, it wasn't bad at all. The broth? Clear, flavorful, and had that fancy meat-oil sparkle that says, "Yes, I simmered for hours, respect me." Meat to noodle ratio was ok. Could've used a bit more of the good stuff (tendon, brisket, etc.), but the broth made up for it! I noticed, they don't just leave the chili oil out like it's free candy, you gotta ask for it. Otherwise, you're stuck with the usual hoisin and sriracha duo, which is fine, but we came to customize. Standard veggies, sprouts and Thai basil. Wished they carried culantro, but it seems not to many places have this. Dined in and pho was served in metal bowls. Keeps your pho hotter! Smart move! No pics because I blacked out from hunger. Sorry, Yelpers. I'd give it a solid 8.9/10. Would slurp again. read more

The flavor is on point . I'm from the SF Bay Area and had plenty of pho to compare it to. Only draw back is the meat could be a bit more fatty but it's fine for island standards. Place is in a food court so it's not much of a "spot." They should consider opening a real restaurant. read more
