Really good Pho. I highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant. They also have some dishes and bahn mi. I just tried their Pho Ox tail it is a 10/10. They gave me a lot of noodles and 2 Ox tail that were big and meaty. This is my go to place for Pho now. Anybody want real pho, the try their ox tail pho. Never disappointed at all. Problem with most Pho places is they don't serve Ox tail pho but this place does. Anybody looking to try different type of Pho should try their Pho Ox Tail instead as it adds more beef flavor and taste extremely good. Solid pho place by my brother's house. My family frequently there often. We usually go there at least once when I'm in town. I've had their pho dine-in and take out. Decent prices for size. Always get all the fixings. Latest visit, I had the house bahn mi. It was tasty. Don't love double digit prices for bahn mi but they do old school offer of buy 5 get 1. This review was almost a bad one. My Uber Eats order was missing the broth for my pho, which meant someone at the restaurant didn't give it to the driver. Since my son is sick, I ordered delivery to avoid the trip, but I was told I'd need to come in to pick it up--which was inconvenient since I live 20 minutes away. My comfort food when I'm sick. Heals me faster than medicine ever could. I got delivery and when I tell you the broth was steaming hot. Just what I needed. I assembled everything to my liking. The location is in a large strip mall right next to the New Grand Mart which is a Korean grocery store, and eatery. So parking is ample and easy. The place is clean and tables are set spaciously apart so youbhave privacy while talking. The pho broth is excellent. One of the best I have had. It has a strong anise flavor and is just a tad sweet but not much. They give you a good amount of meat and will refill the bean sprouts and basil with a smile. We also had their garden rolls which were a good size and packed with vegetables, shrimp and a layer of pork. There was not that much noodles in it which I prefer. They also serve banh mi and some other items that you don't always see at pho specialty place. Waitstaff was friendly. They played 80's music and not so loud which is good. Ooooo I found a hidden gem! There isn't too many Pho options as you head up to Germantown/Clarksburg MD. So I wanted to try Pho House. I was hoping this will be my go to spot moving forward and they definitely made the cut. I ordered Togo and the lady on the phone was really nice, it took 20 mins for them to get it ready. Once we came to the spot parking was a breeze. Since they are next to a grocery store it made things easy. The pho was so good! The broth is just right! Not salty and tasty. They gave enough veggies and sauce too! I finished it quick! Haha. I also ordered the Thai boba tea! That was good too! The prices are reasonable and you get good quality food for what you pay for! This is some of the best Pho in the area. I live in Gaithersburg and I will go to Germantown just for the Pho. My husband and I regularly get Pho delivered. I am taking away one star because if you order one order of Pho you get one bag of bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño etc. When you order two orders of Pho you also get one bag. One bag for double the amount of Pho isn't enough. I have started to pay the extra $3 just to get an extra bag so my husband and I can fully enjoy our Pho. Pho House is our favorite Pho restaurant in the east coast, and it is as good if not better than some of the top pho restaurants we loved when we lived in Orange County, CA, the Mecca of Vietnamese food in America. This restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall gem in an old shopping center, but don't let the ambiance fool you. The food here is so good that TV and movie stars from LA like to frequent here whenever they have to film or do anything in the DC area (good enough to drive to Germantown for it!). It is not a fancy establishment but the pho specifically is top notch. My favorite pho here is the #6, it really hits the spot on a cold fall/winter day. Food always comes out fast, hot, and with a good portion of herbs and sprouts. The staff take your order at the table but you have to pay at the counter. I highly recommend! read more

Just overall mediocre and subpar food, service, and ambiance. My table ordered a variety of pho bowls and none of them were particularly good. The broths were not flavorful and all the meats were tough, and somehow still dry despite soaking in the soup. The noodles were alright but not that great either.. My boyfriend also ordered the lemongrass chicken rice dish and although I liked his rice dish more than my pho, it was just okay as well and the chicken was dry. However, the portion sizes of the pho was pretty large and we all got very full without finishing our whole bowls. Service was slow and they weren't all that friendly, but it seemed like they were understaffed and we only saw 2 waiters for the whole restaurant. I ordered one of the Pho House's special soups, S4 Bo Kho. Customer service was regular. Nothing special. They gave me my food and I went home. Got the BahnMi to go and although it is a little pricey, but with not many choices for BahnMi like they have in NOVA this is a pretty good option. We've been ordering delivery consistently for almost 2 yrs now due to all the *sigh*..... and this spot has been part of our fam's rotation. Our usual m.o. is if their web site doesn't offer online orders for delivery, then we check if they offer that benefit through third party sites/apps. Currently it's been grubhub - not sure if they will continue using them but for now we'll use it. When we receive our online order, the food has been consistently what we expect from them. Prepared the same, smells the same, etc. My calorie-counting self says no but mah belly says yaaaaaasssss~ :) I routinely 99.9999% of the time post foodporn pics. Photos are always better than reviews imo. No one has time for epic novels though at times skim-reading is invested. That's why I'm posting this review for those who have previous time. Had a family event that took place in the morning and it was approaching lunch time so my cousin Ann suggested we go to pho house. The establishment is clean and after looking at the menu we ordered the goi cuon( garden roll), strawberry bubble drink, my sister had the meatball pho while I had the thit nuong( vermicelli with pork). The garden roll was very fresh and the peanut sauce had a very good taste to it. The bubble drink was sweet and refreshing. The thit nuong was very tasty with the pork char to perfection. My sister had the meat ball pho and I had a sip of the broth and it tasted very authentic and flavorful. Plenty of parking space as needed. The con is the price for a large bowl of pho, which is close to 15 dollar due to inflation and cost of ingredients going up. Let me close my eyes and think back to a simpler time when a goi cuon was 3.50 and a large bowl of pho was 8.95$. All in all this place is pretty good and I recommend anyone who in the mood for authentic viet food to come and try this place. read more
