    Rice Noodle with Seafood Pho
    Lawrence G.

I can't believe my 100th review is for a Door Dash order! My wife works from home and takes her lunch break at 10:30 AM, so I thought I'd surprise her with some delicious Vietnamese Pho. Most places don't open until 11:00, but I found Pho Hot in Rocklin, which opens at 10:00 AM. Right at 10:00 AM, I ordered the Hủ Tiếu Mì Hải Sản (Rice or Egg Noodle with Seafood). Amazingly, it arrived at 10:29 AM--just 30 minutes from order to door! I quickly grabbed two bowls and put together the Pho for both of us. The portions were generous and filled with fresh ingredients: a container of broth, bok choy, shrimp, squid, one scallop, jalapenos, bean sprouts, cilantro, and a packet of Sriracha and hoisin sauce (with a side of onion seasoning). The Pho was really good, though we could have done without the squid--neither of us really liked it. But everything else was very flavorful. We usually have some type of Asian Vietnamese soup--also known as Pho--once a week, but with this kind of service and efficiency from Pho Hot and Door Dash, we'll definitely be ordering again soon. If you're looking for something quick and tasty, I highly recommend Pho Hot!

A typical storefront in a strip mall Vietnamese restaurant, and tucked away in a remote section of it near other eating establishments. Look for the 'Crazy' places and it's right next door. You'll know when you see it. I was really wanting some good tasty and warm pho, and I hit the jackpot here. Ordering a No.28 with beef and meatballs it was really a good choice. Ordering a large bowl, as the price isn't much different ($15.50 vs.$14. for a small), it was perfect for bringing some home for later. The broth was ever so smooth and flavorful. It was simply delicious. All of the meats were tender and the large meatballs, sliced in half, were the best. Lots grizzle on the meat. And the small lacy noodles were incredibly good. There was just the right amount of spiciness that I didn't need to add more (quite unusual for me as I like super spicy level flavor). My dining companion had a Bahn mi sandwich. He said it tasted great, but a bit on the small side. The place is basic, casual and what you'd expect. The menu is extensive and service is prompt and good. I'd go back again

Forever love Pho Hot! Just got take out today. I love the new look tho! Makes the inside look extra spacious. I've been really craving their Vietnamese crepe. Perfect for our 103 degree weather today.

Stopped by for the first time on December 29th since we now live in the area. It was about an hour before closing but still very busy. The pho was pretty good on a cold evening so I was satisfied. Their avocado smoothie could have been a little better and they did take a little long to make it because I was pretty much almost done with my food by the time I got it. But they were pretty busy too so I get it, The reason why we stopped by was because we seen it on the way out after watching a movie at the theater nearby. We decided to come back later for dinner after we went shopping. Will come back again and try their other foods as well.

I ordered thru Uber Eats as my first time trying this place out. The food took about 25-30min and delivery about another 30min. The price is decent and the portion is generous. The food qhality was pretty good too. However I was definitely dissappointed that I did not get the exact item I ordered. My item was supposed to be vermicili with pork, shrimp and eggroll.....turned out to be just pork and eggroll. I contacted Uber Eats and I thought they were gonna refund me the price difference but they refunded me for the whole item....Great customer support for sure! It is definitely questionable that the restaurant checks the orders well, when it is clearly ordered thru a computer system with no communication issue or misunderstanding. There are two steps when they should make sure the order is right....whoever making the order and whoever packing the item. They failed both time appearently. The food and price were not bad at all so I prob will try them again on Uber Eats but they better get my order right next time, or there will be no third time for sure.

Food: Underwhelming, a little below meh quality ingredients Service: Non attentive. Cleanliness: Not great, old food spatters on walls, and lots of crumbs on floor, table kinda sticky. Ordered shrimp spring rolls, got rice paper, an over abundance of rice noodles, a little bit of lettuce and bland shrimp and no other veg, for 8.95 Also ordered shrimp pho with a special request to have vegetable broth instead of beef broth which they said they had. I got about 7 ( not to sound snotty) overcooked chewy shrimp, a lot of rice noodles, a few slices of onion a good sprinkle of cilantro and what I suspect was chicken broth not vegetable broth for 15.50 Ordered Thai ice tea and got a premix and not authentic Thai tea, really sweet, didn't taste like Thai tea. Didn't see the price ‍ Total: $33 Overall: Filled my tummy, paid more than value, not returning.

Best pho I've ever had anywhere ever! I think they might've gotten new benches because it looks brand new in here. Even the tables look brand new.

3.5 stars. Value is very good. Reasonable prices for good food. Can't complain. Because of the value comes the rating. Not the best, but you get what you pay for. 4 star grilled pork chop. Pork chop was juicy and tasted good. Everything about this was good overall. 3 stars chicken wings. Tasted good. Small pieces of wings. Very crunchy. Overcooked. 3 stars won ton soup. Won tons ok. Extras weren't so good. Broth was ok.

Love their pho, the service is very quick and always great! Try their speciality drinks as well!

Such a good choice! The pho is delicious and huge! I ordered a small and it bigger than most places I have gone to. I usually never finish it and this one was big. I finished like the whole bowl! so good! Loved it. I was even down to come back again the next day. They have like the utensils there for you to grab on the table which I like cause you don't have to ask the waiters but it seems a bit not sanitary cause people touch or accidentally touch them. Pho was extra hot and delicious. It had a good amount of noodles and meat.

Don't. Drink. Their. Boba. Their boba pearls have a rubbery feel and the juices we orders were not great. I think their pho is better but on this occasion, we only ordered boba to go.

Automatically taking in the ambience of the restaurant, it felt really clean and has a nice dim light that makes the dining experience feel private. The service was very attentive and they'll do a temperature check on how the food is with you after you receive your meal and they were all genuinely very friendly. 10/10 for the service, no doubt. For food, we ordered their "Fukumi Ramen" and their chicken karaage . Chicken karaage came out first and was freshly fried. The coating was amazingly light and the chicken itself was flavorful. It comes served with a lemon wedge and tiny pieces of salad and the dressing in the salad was delicious! For the Fukumi Ramen bowl itself, the initial taste of the broth was flavorful and the black garlic oil was a nice touch. You'll immediately notice how thickkkk their chasu slices are and I think the free order of extra noodles is a nice plus. However, the thin noodles served with the Fukumi Ramen bowl seemed like a lighter color than I normally see at ramen places and the noodles were overcooked so I feel like it obscured the overall taste of the ramen itself since ramen noodles make up so much of the bite. Even though the extra noodles were free and a nice complimentary addition, I feel like I could tell why because the ramen noodles lacked the quality the rest of the bowl had. The tamago egg was decent and I was surprised because it looked like a plain white boiled egg rather than the traditional brown seasoned egg you get in ramen. Overall, I think Fukumi Ramen can do the job of satisfying a cold rainy day, and I think with their wide variety of ramen options, you'll definitely have to try and find one that might hit for you! Portions are huge here too so it might take a couple visits to try more options!

There's a nice parking lot and, the collection of restaurants/stores in this little plaza give a nice vibe. There isn't a ton of seating inside; you kinda get an idea from some of the various Yelp pics.... and, there are a couple tables outside as well. The Food: - Pork Xiao Long Bao: this was fine...... I guess it's about as good as my memory of Journey to the Dumpling. Honestly, I'd say it's in the ballpark of goodness as the frozen Mila XLBs you can buy at Costco. again, Din Tai Fung has kinda ruined XLBs everywhere else I've gone since no one else comes close. - Spicy Pork Xiao Long Bao: this had an odd tanginess to it.. like there was a bit of kimchi in it or something... I didn't care for it (and, I do happen to love kimchi).. and, it wasn't very spicy either. pass on this one. - Spicy Wonton: this was probably the best thing I had here. it was fine. not particularly spicy. and a bit salty. but, it was fine. - Pan-Fried Juicy Pork Buns: I think the filling in this is the same as the XLBs... you just get it in a pan-fried bun instead. I think I actually preferred the regular XLBs bc the larger size of this thing made it kinda hard to eat. - Garlic Noodle: I don't know what I was expecting here... and, I know I shouldn't expect Crustacean (just like I shouldn't expect Din Tai Fung) bc this certainly wasn't anything like Crustacean. These were okay.... the flavor of oyster sauce dominated my palate in an unpleasant way. - Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings: these were okay. they ask if you want them spicy or mild. I got mine mild, but I probably should've gotten it spicy. The outside was nice and crispy, but the wing itself was kinda bland despite being covered with chopped garlic. Other things: - The food comes out fairly quickly & scalding hot..... so, don't burn your mouth! - I'd never really thought about it before, but every place that serves XLBs should also have spoons with flat bottoms; this place does not have flat-bottomed spoons. I like to rest my XLBs in my soup spoon while it cools, and since these spoons had rounded bottoms, my dumpling was always kinda lying sideways. - There's only one single-room unisex bathroom in the back, which is probably fine for the size of the restaurant; though, I did get stuck waiting behind a couple people when I needed to use it. so, I guess if you're not an XLB snob like myself & find Journey to the Dumpling and frozen Mila XLBs to be fantastic, then you may like this place quite a bit.... but I was rather disappointed....
