I came here for lunch and the staff were helpful and efficient. It was a full house. I decided to dine in and ordered the Grilled Pork Chop (Cơm Sườn Nướng). Food was served in a timely manner. Served with rice (or choice of fried rice for an add'l $5), lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, green onion, pickled carrot and daikon along with a small bowl of sweet & sour fish sauce. The grilled meat was tasty especially with that fish sauce. This is a nice dining option that is located in the same area as the Blue Oaks movie theater. Went for round 2 this last weekend and once again they came through. I ordered the custom Pho with my 2 meats and my goodness, the broth is so flavorful at each bite. I appreciate that they provide a perfect amount of veggies on the side to complement the Pho. My girlfriend ordered their veggie Pho but in beef broth & of course that was delicious! I was in the area on a weekday and was searching for Pho restaurants that also served banh mi. Fortunately, this location served both so I ordered to go by phone. They had an interesting pho deal where you can build your own pho. I selected 2 items, I selected the flank steak+ meatballs, and a banh mi. Plenty of parking and the place was very clean and tidy. Around roughly 330pm, there were a few patrons already there eating. I received my order right away (probably 10 or so minutes after my order was placed.) When I got home, everything was packaged neatly. The pho? Very good! I ordered the large and had to eat it in 2 sittings. The banh mi was very good as well! I was quite surprised by the transformation of this place from the last time I visited some time ago. It obviously changed ownership and it was spruced up, refurbished and very clean and attractive. I was hankering for some hot soup, Ramen or pho, and since I was nearby and came to this location for pho before I thought I'd give it another try. Everything from the decor to the menu to the table settings were sparkling clean, nicely designed and professionally done. The menu is extensive and primarily Vietnamese. I came in particular for Pho and was not disappointed. I ordered the House Noodle Soup, regular size, with egg noodles. The portion was HUGE. Delivered pipping hot the broth was excellent, flavorful and all of the ingredients were very fresh. I was surprised to see the quantity of shrimp provided, nice and plump. The dish was most satisfying and there wasn't any component of the Pho that disappointed. Prices are reasonable and the service was friendly, efficient and on top of it. Eureka! We've found it! Finally, our search for the BEST Vietnamese food near home around Roseville has come to an end (for now, iykyk as a foodie the search never ends). The food here is incredible and precisely the taste we've been looking for (and then some). My inner McFatty... super satisfied! Pho dishes? Plentiful, fairly priced, yummy, and generous. Vermicelli? Absolutely delicious and hits it right on the spot. Thai tea? More please! Eggplant dish? Best I've had so far in and around Roseville! Banh Mi? Easily compared to the best we've had aroound SoCal! Crab fried rice? Done deal - getting it every time from now on. Oh, I can't emphasize how happy we are to finally have a GO TO for whenever we crave authentic Vietnamese food. The only downer, although it doesn't take away anything IMHO, is the lack of curry dishes. But I think they wanted to gear away from having too much variety so they can focus on their specialties with a masterful perception. Nicely done and couldn't agree more with this angle. Portions were pretty big and prices a little higher, but all the dishes we got tasted great. The fried rice had a little sweetness to it which was different but nice. The vermicelli beef bowl was our favorite. Came with a lot of meat and toppings, so much we couldn't finish it. Service was great. We used to come here all the time before the remodel and I believe they sold and absolutely loved it -- the whole family did. The new space is definitely cleaner, more modern, and nicely updated, but unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the new prices. I always order the same thing -- the pork plate with everything on it -- and while I expected a price increase (since everything is going up these days), I didn't expect to get noticeably less food. It just doesn't feel worth it anymore. Oddly enough, the old place had pretty bad service, but the food was incredible. Now the service has improved (our server was very friendly), but the food has taken a step back. There are at least two other spots nearby that I'd rather go to now for better value and portion size. read more

The best pho I've personally ever had, beef and tendon pho was amazing! The pho is loaded with fresh long noodles and the broth is rich and hot. We're big fans of pho, so we were excited to try this new spot! The place looks freshly remodeled--clean, modern, and welcoming. The utensils and dishware were spotless, which we appreciated. That said, we were disappointed by the portion size, especially considering the price. The bowls felt noticeably smaller than what we're used to at other pho restaurants. Also, we saw a banner advertising a free drink for the grand opening, but when we asked about it, they told us the promotion had ended--yet the banner was still up. That felt a bit misleading. I'm always on the lookout for new Vietnamese restaurants. I love Vietnamese food. I was extremely excited to try Pho Station and I really wanted to like it. However, I was sorely disappointed. The positives are: - delicious grilled pork. Nicely seasoned and flavored with lemon grass - good vermicelli noodles - good Thai tea The negatives are: - grilled chicken was dry and flavorless - not enough herbs, ground peanuts, and fried shallots - the bean sprouts and pickles tasted like they were on their way out - the sauce/dressing was very sweet - shrimp with no flavor (not even grilled to make up for it) - weird shrimp paste and sugar cane. The shrimp paste was so bad. It tastes like leftover banh mi bread flavored with very little shrimp. It just tasted weird and not in a good way. I hope the restaurant owners see this review and take notice. Going out to eat is expensive nowadays and it's sad when you don't get generous accoutrements and you get flavorless food or worse, food on its way to being spoiled. read more

The tofu was obviously reheated and was chewy and room temp. I've had fresh fried tofu before and it should be pipping hot and soft. Very disappointing. The pork dish was 70% vegetables. We ordered the large sized pho and thankfully we did because their large is about the regular size at all the other pho places in town. I'd hate to see their regular size pho.
