Came here for the first time and it was busy during lunch time. Staff is really friendly and service was pretty quick. You make your own bowl with meat, veggies, noodles and sauce and leave it at the counter for the chef to cook. While you are waiting the waiter will escort you to your table and give you egg drop soup or hot and sour soup and rice/fried rice and wonton chips. The egg drop soup was nice and not salty but their fried rice was way too oily for me. Their Mongolian bbq is cooked fresh and tasted great. I love how I can be in charge of the sauces and oil that goes into my food. This is not an ayce place but for lunch I was only able to finish half of my bowl and took the rest to go. Nice spot to come for a quick lunch and you don't need ayce to fill you up

Sizzle Mongolian BBQ is a prime example of delicious, unpretentious, no-frills dining. It's clean, efficient, and has a great group of people providing excellent service. Best of all you end up with a tasty bowl of noodles to feast on. All the ingredients look fresh and the posted recipe yields a spicy (not crazy spicy) and flavorful bowl of noodles. I haven't had a bad meal here yet and I don't expect to given how efficient the restaurant seems to run. The different meats, vegetables and sauces allow our imaginations to run free and provide an opportunity to make all types of creative bowls of noodles. However, once you find your preferred combination of protein, vegetables and sauces it will be hard to stray. Still, it's exploring different combinations is worthwhile due to the extensive variety of options available. It's a wonderful restaurant that I look forward to visiting whenever I have a craving for a tasty bowl of noodles.

We walked in and asked the staff if we can sit waiting for our other half of our party. She graciously said yes. We took the largest table they had which sat 8 but we were only 6. When the crowd started pounding in, we too late for there was a long line so I said I would save our spot when I saw the rest of the group came. Afterwards, I went in line. There was such a good collection of vegetables, meats, and noodles. I took some meats first then made my way to the veggies but in the midst of it, a staff member was cleaning the mess on the counter by putting the dustpan close to the counter and a dishrag to wipe the mess onto it. Then put it on floor to clean the mess there & repeated a cpl of more times til he got to the end. I did feel like was sanitary at all. I got to the front and she took my order then made it right away so I can eat with the rest of my party. That was nice of her. I really loved the hot and sour soup & the Mongolian BBQ. I starved my self so I brought my appetite. It was so delicious. But I don't think I'd come back as the way they cleaned the counter was totally off putting. All 2 stars go to the food.

Classic, good'ol Mongolian BBQ! Use your handy skills and strategies to fill your bowl to your heart's (or stomach's) content. Great service, decent cleanliness, delicious noodles and classic vast selection to make your masterpiece pile of goodness. Great for parties, families, dine-in, takeout, and packing to go if you can't finish what you started. For around $18 it comes with bowl for your packing, fried rice, and soup. Glad this spot is nearby and we plan on returning many times over!

Sizzle me this Yelpies !!! You can't go wrong with this super clean and efficient restaurant. All the food choices are great. Not too much but not too little. The cook made sure our plates were cooked to perfection and the server was a ray of sunshine making sure everyone was enjoying their meals and all the drinks were topped off. This is an excellent place to eat and it looks like outdoor eating is coming soon

The food is amazing and a great deal. Each meal comes with your choice of hot and sour soup or egg drop soup and fried rice or steamed rice and egg roll appetizer. You are able to customize your bowl to your liking and the portions are very large if you are good at stacking your ingredients. I typically have left overs for 2-3 meals that reheat perfectly! The service is excellent. The tables are turned over quick and my drink has never run empty. The owner takes great pride in ensuring everyone has an enjoyable meal.

At Mongolian BBQ you are the creator of your masterpiece. You get to decide on the protein,…read moreveggies, whether it not you want noodles. Then decide if you are in a sweet and/or savory mood by adding a combination of sauces that are offered. Last night, I grabbed a bowl, and actually, I grabbed two, because I think I have a pretty good method, lol. Since there weren't trays available, I put it under my main bowl until I got to the sauces. I know, you are supposed to start with meat... but I was thinking... what's the best way to stack this bowl with all these ingredients to get the maximum amount in it? I didn't want to start with the meats because they take up a lot of space being bulky and frozen. I actually decided to start with spinach, so that I could then flatten it down with veggies and noodles, then top it with the thin slices of frozen meat. Since it was not busy, it made it easy to start in the middle and go back to the meats at the beginning. You want to build your bowl as high a you can get it because after it is cooked, it reduces in size. *pro tip! Use your hand to smash your ingredients down as you fill your bowl! For sauces, this is where your extra bowl comes into play. I try to fill that bowl at least ¾ of the way with a combination of house sauce, chili oil, garlic chip sauce, ginger water, kung pao, some cooking wine, and water. Andrew, the grill master, offered to help with the sauces if I needed. *don't be afraid to use water! It doesn't water down your flavor, but helps with the streaming/cooking process! At the end, there was an option to add "Twist BBQ Oil" I had to ask Andrew about this and it adds a subtle smokey bbq flavor. It sounded great, so he added it for me. For all the sauces, I like to stir from the bottom then get my scoop. I gave him my creation. He emptied both my bowls into a circular grill and used very long chopsticks to continuously stir and flip the ingredients over a very high heat. While he cooked, Andrew was explaining how some sauces go better with some meats and what it does during the cooking process... I like that he was explaining that by adding this sauce, it's going to help tenderize, by adding this sauce, it is more savory, or this one is more sweet... very smart chef! *Do not forget to tip your chef!! When I sat down, Korina had brought me water, rice, egg drop soup, and some wonton chips with sweet & sour to dip them in. While I was waiting for my bowl to cool off, I noticed there were sides available to add onto your meals. They are buy one get one free (of the same app). I decided to go with potstickers and GK pan. So for both, I actually got double orders (yay, I get to take some home!). The potstickers have pork and were deep fried. They had a great crunch and came with a savory dipping sauce. The GK Pan was crispy and a little on the plain side for me. The egg flower soup was good and I didn't touch my rice (oops, lol). Now that my bowl had cooled off a little, I grabbed my fork (I didn't feel like chopsticks) and this creation, with the help of Andrew, was my favorite creation of all time! It was savory, with just a tiny hint of sweet. Everything was tender! Korina checked up on me a few times and I'm sure what she mostly heard from me was, "Mmmmmm!" So yummy! I'm sure I could've done without the extra appetizers, and been satisfied with my creation, rice, soup, and wonton chips (they put in a little hidden potsticker for you to try! ), but I had to give a couple of the apps a try! I like that they are open until midnight for night owls or people like me who get off work a little later. Service was on point, food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! They played up to date music which I loved! *don't forget to tip your amazing waitress!

I was in the area and craving Mongolian BBQ on a Friday for lunch around 1pm. I walk in and wait at the front for a few minutes until a gal comes out and asks if it was here or to go. I said here so she says to just go ahead and start making my bowl. Surprised that they offered lamb and tofu during lunch time as most places only offered that at dinner. The toppings were full but noticed that many of the veggies had been frozen meaning they weren't real fresh. They had a good selection of sauces that weren't watered down. I especially like the lobster sauce. I also liked that they cleaned the grill before starting mine. I go to find a table and every single table was dirty loaded with dishes! The same gal was ringing up a customer and stopped to tell her Can you wait one moment so I can get her a clean table? I also asked for a drink and that took a little bit. I'm watching her be the ONLY person working besides the two guys running the grill! She was also the cashier and busser! My meal was pretty good. I liked the flavors. The egg drop soup was better than most because I ate the whole thing and it's not my favorite. However the white rice leaves little to me desired. It had some weird taste that I could barely swallow. You also got one pot sticker that was okay. They added appetizers or add-ons like shrimp to the menu also. Price for lunch was very good, $14 and $20 for all you can eat dinner. With how expensive eating out is nowadays, this is a good value. I complained about the bathroom last time and it was decently clean and also the warmest room in the whole place. It was a bit chilly in the restaurant. I was overall pleased with my meal. Service was not great but not her fault. She did pretty good being all by herself. I blame the owners for not getting her help! This was never an option for me before but now I will return as I am Always in this area.

All You Can Eat-ish... Bar-B-Que…read more.. I was excited to find out there was a Mongolian BBQ in Auburn. For weeks, my coworker and I have been trying to get our schedules lined up so we can go try it out together. Finally, tonight was that night. We parked in a large parking lot around the corner and noticed it was not busy. One of the employees was sitting outside (outdoor seating is available) on his phone, but he was so welcoming and opened the door for us. He took us to a booth and gave us the run down. Sit. Order your drinks, and go get food. Go back for more, because it's ayce... Tony was really nice and had a great smile! He told us how it works - The server would be over to get out drink order. Then, she brought us some crispy wonton chips with some sweet & sour, a cup of soup each, and a small bowl of rice to share... although there are signs that say "do not share," lol. I'm not sure why you can't share if everyone is paying the same price and eating almost the same exact thing... especially, if it's ayce for everyone... It was exciting to see what they had to offer. After finishing the soup, we walked around the wall to fill your bowl with meats (choice of pork, chicken, beef, or lamb), noodles, vegetables, and at the very end, the flavorful liquid. These liquids make your dish. You can put on a simple teriyaki, but that will make it sweet. There is a house sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, wine, vinegar, and kung pao sauce. If you aren't sure what you like, there is a "Sum's Sauce Recommendation" recipe up for your convenience. **Be sure to tip the grill cooks!! The best way I have noticed to do this is to grab 2 bowls. One of for your food and the other, you will want to fill to the at least half way with your liquids. The saucier the better with me! I spoke to the cashier in the front... who told me it's $21 to dine in, and $17 to take it to go since the person taking theirs to go wouldn't be ayce.... (never mentioning the extra charge.) When we sat down, it felt like something in it was missing... maybe a little salt? Usually, I nail my own sauce recipes. Good amount of soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger... garlic, chili oil... a little kung pao... Since we weren't too happy with the flavor of our first bowl, and finished just over half... and this was an ayce... we decided to go back and tweak our creation. This one had better flavor (I added A LOT of soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil), but I seriously could still not taste the sesame oil and this trip, and I used a lot (is there such thing as sesame water?). Then, I wondered if they were using low sodium soy sauce (i asked, and it was regular). I'm wondering if all these sauces are watered down since the soy sauce and ginger sauce were lacking major flavor. The sesame oil couldn't even be detected... so either it is old or a not so good brand. I figured I would just take the rest home and fix up the flavor... and since I overheard a server offer to box someone's meal up...I thought that was neat that we were able to take out food home...turns out... we had to pay to take home the rest of our bowls(extra$9), or pay extra to not take it home... a "waste" charge(extra$8). When we first walked in and we asked how this Mongolian BBQ worked, they left out the part about paying for waste/ or taking home the rest of your food for a charge. If we had not gone back for a 2nd bowl, we would not have had to pay the extra charge because we would've just not finished it and left. I felt a little ripped off. Of course, after we were ready to pay, they pointed to the sign on the wall that we did not see... in fairness, we did ask how they operated and we were told to go get more... but we were not told about the extra charge. I felt cheated. Over all, it was not bad, it just was not good. It was edible, but definitely not worth the extra charge.. i didn't even want to bring it home, but with the extra charge, I figured I would fix it up at home to make it taste better. This brought our bill to close to $60... $30 split each. Not worth it. I feel like a great honest business that is confident in what they serve would have been up front about the charges before springing them on you in the end. They even brought us the bill without the extra charge when they noticed we were close to finishing, but then took the check back to add on the extra charge. The signs should have been pointed out. Service was great. Food was not anything to be excited about. Day after, I warmed up my food with a few drops of a sesame oil that I have.. it added 10 times more flavor than the 2 ladles of soy sauce and 3 ladles of sesame oil that I added at this restaurant.

I had not visited a Mongolian restaurant in a long time and took a chance having dinner with my family here and boy was it the right choice! Upon walking in, the decor is a bit older, but is is clean and neatly presented. The staff was very friendly and seated us right away. There was a good amount of people in the restaurant so the line to get your food was a bit long, but it moved swiftly and fast. The food bar was well organized, stuffed with various meats (chicken, pork, lamb, beef) and vegetables of all sorts. When handing your bowl to the check to cook, they put on a little show while you wait for your food which makes the wait not seem as long and at the end it is cooked to perfection. Our waitress kept our glasses full with ice cold beverages. Soft drinks are free for refills, however if you get lemonade, it is not. There is a soft service ice-cream bar for dessert after you've eaten. Makes for a nice touch although we decided to get dessert elsewhere. The tab for all 5 of us was about $128. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for fresh food, with great customer service!

He was excited I was a little hesitant because this is a very low key smaller Mongolian barbecue. We had a fabulous lunch the white staff make sure everything is kept tidy because it's such a small quarters that if you drop a little bit of food, it shows up quickly, but they are on it. They have most of the regular items and then extra items like two types of noodles, which I always appreciate it. Husband likes the fat ones so I like the thin ones. What really surprised me was that I have to get to the normal selection of proteins like pork, beef, chicken, and lamb and through the veggies selection area where they also have tofu and pineapple, and pass, they make your own sauce, they have CALAMARI and small SHRIMP on ice right before the cooking station! When you sit at the table, you get great service if you order sodas they're constantly refilled. The dinner service also comes with soup a bowl of steam right rice, some crunchy wonton strips and sweet-and-sour. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that not only do they have Sriracha, but they also have traditional chili oil that you can order with your meal for flavoring. They still have their soft serve ice cream for afterwards with sprinkles and chocolate strawberry Hershey's syrup. Lunch is a few dollars cheaper than dinner. We went at 4 o'clock, so it was dinner our but dinner you can go and get as many refills as you want. The only caveat is if you do get a refill, you cannot take home leftovers. Which seems fair. Super low-key not fancy but a very, very decent Mongolian barbecue and I will be back!

I also ordered a side salad that never came out even though we asked the waiter the whole time we was there. So I gave up after probably 4 times asking for my salad lol. Other than that the food was good. The cheese corn was delicious. The bulgogi sliders were great!y favorite thing there is the butter shrimp and soy garlic beef belly. Their seasonal fruit right now is watermelon and that was so refreshing! Crisp and sweet!

As a Taiwanese person, I was very curious and intrigued by the Indo-Chinese dishes on the menu. The shop was quiet and clean, there was only one other family there during our lunch. So we got seated and placed our order right away. There were several large screen TVs in the dining area playing various shows. One was displaying beautiful sceanaries from the Himalayas and that captured my attention for the longest time. Soon our food came. We ordered the steamed Chicken Momos, the Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Naan and they all looked very good. We liked the curry, and the momos were fun to eat. It's a bit different but also very similiar to a Chinese bao. The Momo has much thiner skin and the filling tasted slightly different from a plain meat bao. To me, it feels kinda like a larger version of a soup dumpling without the pool of the broth inside. Needless to say, I found myself studying the momos while stuffing them into my mouth as they were quite delicious and easy to eat. Oveall, we were very glad we gave Everest Chilli Pepper a try as we enjoy the food and would like to try more Indo-Chinese dishes on our next visit.
