Tasty option in the Vienna/Tysons area. I've been here twice and was very happy with the service and food. Standard strip mall atmosphere. Most recently, I had the grilled chicken Banh Mi. The bread and ingredients were fresh and tasty. Give them a try.
My wife and I came here for a casual dinner around 6pm with delicious pho (#4 and #10) on a Saturday night in late January 2026. This is a great place on a cold winter night! It's become our "go-to" option in the neighborhood for several reasons. First, parking is free in the lot behind the restaurant. Second, it has a spacious and clean interior. Third, the service was especially attentive and prompt on Saturday evening. I like their beef pho which has a mild broth ($14.95 regular size, $15.95 large size). The only blemish of Pho Hai Duong is that their side booths are somewhat uncomfortable (rigid backboard), but you can sit at the interior tables which allow you to spread out a bit more.
Pho Hai Duong is our go to spot for pho. It's fairly priced and a good meal. This time we tried a variety of other dishes as a family meal and if you're craving Vietnamese food it's a decent meal! My favorite was probably the com tay cam which is crispy rice but I prefer it a little more crispy. The fried rice was also good but could use a little extra time on the stove. Overall we always enjoy our meal here
I was craving Vietnamese food and noticed this restaurant had a great lunch special featuring both phở and bánh mì, so I decided to stop in and give it a try, and I'm glad I did. The restaurant is very easy to find. There's limited customer parking in the front, but additional parking is available in the rear, which makes it convenient overall. Once inside, the space is huge and welcoming, with a nice mix of booths and tables. You're greeted immediately, which sets the tone right away. They promptly provide both the lunch special menu and the full traditional menu, which I appreciated. I chose the grilled pork bánh mì lunch special, which comes with your choice of a spring roll (fresh rice paper or crispy) and a soda. I went with the crispy spring roll and a soda. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The portions were perfect for lunch not too heavy, but very satisfying. The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive staff and quick turnaround time. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained, which always matters. Overall, this was a great lunch experience. Quick service, good portions, fresh food, and excellent customer service. I would absolutely recommend stopping in and taking advantage of their lunch specials if you're in the mood for Vietnamese food.
Super clean pho restaurant with an interesting choice of a big chandelier in the middle, giving it a slightly upscale-ish feel and I am guessing it is because it is in the Tysons Corner area. My friends and I all ordered pho and 2 spring roll orders on top as well. As expected, everything was delicious, no complaints on the taste. You get a big mountain of bean sprouts on a plate even just for 3 people too. The sauces were all filled and the sauce bottles were clean too for anyone that cares lol. If you can't find parking in front, there is more in the back. We had no issues getting any. The service was very friendly and attentive! It's just sad that inflation has driven pho prices up to being almost $20 per bowl when it was always $5-$7 before. 2 bowls of pho + 1 order of spring rolls = $51 with tip. I really hope it doesn't get more expensive than this.
New favorite vietnamese spot! Tried this place instead of going down the road to Roll Play today and loved it. Super nice employees. 2 rolls for 8$ was a little disappointing, I feel like there should have been at least 1 or 2 more in there for that price because 4$ for a 5inch roll is a lot but I guess that's inflation for ya. I will definitely be a new regular here though and recommend it to my friends. I'm kinda picky about my vietnamese iced coffee and theirs tastes amazing every time. The crispy rolls with fish sauce were so good.

The pho was served with the slices of steak fully cooked in the broth, but I prefer the meat to be slightly raw. The flavor did not stand out to me and it was on the pricier side compared to others likely because it is located in Tysons. The interior is spacious with booth and table seating. Overall, the service was prompt and decent.
The food and service is very consistent. We usually get the Large Pho with various pieces of meat and parts. The serving is generous with noodles and meats & bits. The broth is clean but not as flavorful as Vietfoods in Eden Center. That broth is deep, rich, beefy, sweet and really oily. The pho comes with plate of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeno & lime. I love dipping the meat with a mix of peanut sauce from summer rolls, hoisin and srirachia. My son loves the summer rolls (fresh rolls with pork and shrimp). Instead of the peanut sauce, he dips it in fish sauce. The fried spring rolls are very crispy and hot. I like to pair it was fresh basil and jalapeno slices. Overall, a go to place for us as we can still stay in the Tysons area and get decent Vietnamese food/pho for a fair price.
Had their banh mi sandwich w/shrimp spring roll and a soft drink for $11.99 A good deal. Banh mi was grilled pork, tasty and spicy, they put in a little jalapeño along with radish. The best banh mi I've had in the area, better than one I tried from Eden Center.
Very calming experience every time I come here. Lots of available seating. Service is always efficient. Pleasant background music. Tables are stocked with sauces to add to your pho. Great lunch spot!
This breaks my heart, but this place used to be my favorite spot for a bowl of pho for the past 5 years. I used to love how nuanced and clean the broth tasted. But today, after bragging about this spot to my gf, the pho had some of the most watery tasteless broth I've had. Not even siracha, lime, and hoisin could bring this back to life. I don't know if this is a fluke or maybe a bad night but I expected this type of quality in a pho restaurant in ashburn or Maryland; not from a restaurant as close in proximity to Eden center and Falls Church. I'm disappointed and at a loss of words. The picture above is how I'm leaving this. How could a place that used to have broth better than half of Falls Church spots fall so hard from grace... I'm not mad just disappointed.

Food was 5/5. I think this place has the best broth in the NoVa area for pho and i eat a lotttttt of pho so trust me. Sliced onions were $3. The rice dish was not good. Ordered the com tam dac biet $17.95. Was not a fan. The cha trung and tau hu ky in the combo were dry and not tasty. The grilled pork and shredded pork were ok. Service is good and attentive. They also offer bun, hu tieu, vegetarian dishes, bun Bo hue, banh xeo, ca kho, canh chua, bo luc lac, clams, rolls and many other traditional Vietnamese dishes. Very extensive menu options.
Pho Hai Duong was the quick and easy lunch place that we needed on Sunday. Pho was the perfect option for a chilly and rainy afternoon. My friend and I had our orders taken quickly, and food was out within 10 minutes. PHO HAI DUONG DAC BIET - 16.95 The pho broth was more salty than it was beefy/savory. It leaned clean rather than fatty. After awhile, I got tired of the heavy sodium flavor. There was a good amount of meat, and the noodles were a good texture -- bit chewy and not soggy. Overall, it was fine, but nothing to write home about. My friend enjoyed her rice combination dish with grilled pork and shredded pork skin. I've had the pho at other Pho Hai Duong locations before and enjoyed it more then. Maybe just a one off? I'd be open to return if I'm in the area and wanting pho. read more
I enjoy Pho Hai Duong. It's always easy to get a seat and the service is good. They offer my favorite Vietnamese dish, mi xao, and it is tasty here. I've also really enjoyed my vermicelli bowl, another dish they do well. The menu is big so there are lots of options. I'm looking forward to returning. read more
Consistently excellent food! I have been to all of their locations, and I keep going because the food, service, and presentation are consistently great! I am Vietnamese, and several family members throughout several generations are chefs and/or own restaurants on both coasts. I cook my own food as well. This is authentic Vietnamese food. If you want healthy, delicious food, this is a great place! The pho bone broth is clear, fragrant and spiced just right. The food portions are a good value for the price. The Hu Tieu, beef stew, and other soups are also great. I have never had anything bad at any of their restaurants. I love that they are now offering a variety of banh mi sandwiches and lunch specials. The variety on the menu is excellent. The banh xeo seafood crepes are made right. The rice vermicelli bowls and rice entrees just hit the spot to satisfy my cravings. My go-to dish is the Grilled Pork rice vermicelli bowl with Fried Egg Roll (Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio). The only thing they do not have is the Banh Cuon (Rice Crepes), but maybe they will add it in the future. They also offer boba milk teas, Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee, juices, and more. The ambiance is casual and quiet and sometimes with light music. The place is immaculately clean and inviting. As with most Vietnamese restaurants, you can sit anywhere, and you can take your time to go up to the register to pay. Vietnamese custom is that they do not like to rush you. There are accessible parking spots in the small, free private parking lot. No steps other than the sidewalk. There are some outside tables and chairs. read more

Terrible fried rice they used boiled chicken to add in the fried rice no flavor no taste whatsoever. I call the manager he can't even offer me something else $20:95 go to the trash!!! read more

My whole office loves coming here for lunch - either for sit down or take out. They have great authentic Vietnamese food. There is plenty of space and seating for dining inside, though limited parking in front (some additional parking out back). Service is quick and efficient. But most importantly, the food is amazing. There is a lot of great Asian food in northern Virginia, but I would absolutely recommend this spot in Tyson's Corner for a great and inexpensive meal. read more

I was a frequent flyer at their location in Eden Center as I narrowed down their establishment as the top broth in the area. Competition was fierce when I lived in Falls Church where the choices for pho are in abundance. I have to admit, I was once an MSG junkie and there were many establishments that abused this ingredient in particular. I once commented that their name written in gold at the Eden Center is no coincidence as their broth should certainly be the gold standard to which all broths should be compared. I am so pleased the proprieters have held on to this solid recipe for broth and have decided to spread the wealth by opening this location so close to my current home. Five stars PLUS if they allow me to bring in my own container to fill up on their magical broth! read more

One of the better places in Tyson's for solid Vietnamese food. Not crazy expensive, not modern--just good, classic Vietnamese. I've visited multiple times and everything I've ordered has been good and well-portioned. Pho broth is flavorful, noodle bowls are fresh, iced coffee is strong. I ordered the banh xeo recently and it was light and crispy, full of shrimp and pork with an abundant side of fresh veggies. I've found few places that can execute a well-made banh xeo. Service is pretty quick. read more

I hope this place never goes downhill because it's literally the only place I'll drive an hour for to get my Vietnamese food fix I think they have an Annandale location but I prefer this one just because the service is always so friendly and the food comes out relatively fast! It's also super clean inside which I appreciate. I highly recommend their grilled meats (all of them are phenomenal), also their pho is so good, not too heavy or salty but still really flavorful! read more
I came home from college for the weekend and wanted to relax and eat a nice bowl of pho with my family. A good bowl of pho is hard to come by at school but thankfully I have Pho Hai Duong nearby at home. I'm half Vietnamese and I grew up eating a lot of Vietnamese food so I have high standards for it. Pho Hai Duong is an authentic and dependable option for Vietnamese food. In my opinion, it is the best place to get a bowl of pho right now in the McLean-Tysons area. We ordered the Cha Gio (Crispy Spring Rolls) and Goi Cuon (Summer Rolls) for appetizers. The Cha Gio is standard and good. They are on the smaller side and while they are not the best I've tasted, they are also far from bad. The Goi Cuon was good. They were rolled well and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered a small bowl of the Pho Tai Chin and was impressed. The portion of the small size was awesome. The soup was light, flavorful, and hearty. The medium rare eye round steak was tasty and satisfying. The noodles were good and I have no complaints about them. They were not over cooked and had a nice bite to them. I also tried the Com Tam Dac Biet (rice platter with pork). The pork was good, and well marinaded and seasoned. The egg quiche and shredded pork were nice additions that are hard to come by in Vietnamese food in the McLean-Tysons area. Overall, I like Pho Hai Duong. Although it's not the best pho or Vietnamese restaurant in northern Virginia, it's an authentic and dependable option for when I don't want to drive out to Fairfax or Arlington to get my pho fix. read more

After working in Vietnam for some time, got so tired of pho. But after a couple years of abstinence, started to enjoy pho again at Pho Hai Duong's shop in Annandale. So I was happy when they opened up another location in Vienna a few minutes from our home. We don't get to eat out as much so we order to go more often. But the owner is a really nice guy that runs both locations, so I hope you can meet him if you ever go. Pho, Bahn Xeo, Bun Bo Hue and Summer Rolls. Their Pork Chop on rice, Rice Vermicelli and Clay Pot dishes are also so good. A lot of authentic Vietnamese variety here. Love it. And so glad Danny started managing this location since early last year. Can really tell the difference in the whole operation of the place, from the food and to the service. And I prefer Pho in the States more than Vietnam. read more
