Nice Pho Ga establishment in the heart of Garden Grove! This family style restaurant has a lot to offer, serving a variety of staple Vietnamese dishes. As per the name, their specialty is Pho Ga, which is rice noodle soup with chicken. We were seated and served relatively quickly. We ordered Pho Ga Dac Biet (Rice Noodles with Chicken, Dac Biet). The broth was nostalgic, warming, and flavorful. The chicken and veggies were pretty standard. Overall, we thought this restaurant served great food but the price was rather steep for its relatively small portion size. Would recommend to those in the area looking for solid Pho Ga!

    1. The pho had good broth and chicken! I love that I can have the chicken cooked an on the side! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is cozy! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! They have a robot server! 4. The spot only has indoor seatings! There are a lot of tables! 5. Lot has a lot of parking! Nearby parking can get crowded depending on time and day! Note: There is a restroom available for customers! Photo: Pho Ga Combo and Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Consistently delicious! Favorite restaurant to get Pho Ga. I order the Dac Biet. I'm left feeling satisfied and full.

My absolute go-to Pho Ga spot in OC! Hands down the best flavor and highest quality chicken in the area--I literally find myself coming back once a week. The broth is always served piping hot, rich, and deeply flavorful. On top of that, the staff is incredibly nice, and the food comes out fast every single time. If you love chicken pho, you have to try this place.

The glass noodle combo with a side of young egg, is my go to. This place is always consistent in quality and service. My favorite chicken soup spot. Even for togos, the portions and quality is good.

Food is good and authentic just the right size serving. We ordered Pho rare steak and crispy fired chicken with crispy skin my son loved it. We got seated fast on a Saturday night dinner. Fast service. Music is nice instrumental medley a good family style restaurant where you can savor delicious meals and good vibes.

Tasty and homestyle cooking! The menu is simple yet diverse to accommodate any type of cravings. I visited late at night and was able to get seated right away. From egg rolls to glass noodle pho and beef pho, their menu had everything we were looking forward to eat. Food service was also very quick. Thank you so much to the staff and robot server who made our dining experience delish!! Come visit open til midnight.

Came into town for New Years wanted to try this place with my daughter since we were close to this place. Good here is very good. We ordered pho chicken combo( pho ga đặc biệt) ít was very good the noodle and broth in a bowl and the chicken was on the side with a separate small bowl of fish sauce and ginger to dip the chicken. Service was good didn't have a wait at all. Theres alittle robot brings out a tray with your entree instead of a real person. Thought it was cool about it. I haven't been to any restaurant that has this before. Ambience here , it was close to corner , was easy to find, inside is alittle small but food here is good.

Good food. Sauce was tasty. Added the chicken innards which was good if you are into it. They were kind enough to add more hear/gizzard instead of liver. Food comes out fast too!

I ordered chicken porridge with chinese donuts to eat along with the porridge. total is $20, only 5 very small piece of chicken, and the donuts were cut in half! Very expensive. The porridge is very liquid, only seeing water. And the donut is very oily! Do not order from here! Too pricy for the price of $20

Great spot for pho ga. Opens late too. One of my go to spots and never disappoints! The robot that brings the pho to you is also pretty cool

Had the mien ga (glass noodle chicken soup) Serving size of meats 3/5 Broth taste 5/5 for chicken soup! Condiment station - stocked and has fresh ground pepper corns which are grinded by the electronic device. Neat seeing the robot coming out with the goods. Wouldn't recommend their beef pho as the broth was a bit lacking.

Bossam - 5/5, really nice texture and thick cuts! Lots of umami and savory flavors. The pork belly was tender and they had all the sides for the wrap including the lightly picked Napa cabbage, garlic, jalapeños, kimchi radish, fermented shrimp, and ssamjang. I barely had to touch them before the meat was basically falling off the bone. The broth had a deep, comforting flavor without being overly salty (which is a blessing to enjoy the flavor). We also ordered the pork cutlet on the side, and honestly, the portion was massive for like a quick lunch. Crispy, filling, and definitely enough to take leftovers home! The banchan was simple but solid too, especially the big slices of cucumber and daikon, along with pieces of pancake on the side. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth with Korean signage and an artsy wall, no fancy décor or over-the-top presentation. Service is straightforward and efficient. You're not here to be pampered. You're here for hot, delicious comfort food done right.

The meal starts with what feels like an endless lineup of little side dishes, a fried fish, rice in a scorching hot stone bowl, and then the bubbling tofu soup (medium spice for me) arrives like it's angry at the table. I ordered the bulgogi combo (C2) and everything was flavorful, comforting, and honestly just fun to eat. OK maybe a few too many onions for me. The stone pot rice situation was an adventure on its own. They ask you if you want them to pour hot water into the bowl to loosen the crispy rice stuck to the sides. I tried it. Felt very authentic. Still not fully convinced my rookie self handled it correctly, but we survived. What I liked most was the atmosphere and adventure. You can tell this place has a loyal following and there's a reason Yelp absolutely loves it. It feels authentic without being intimidating, and the portions are no joke. I took home enough leftovers for round two the next day. If you've only done Korean BBQ before, this is a completely different experience and definitely worth trying. Bring friends, come hungry, and don't be afraid to look a little confused your first time. Apparently that's part of the experience. Easy 5 stars for me. P. S. Quick shout out to the wait staff they are super attentive, smiling, and helpful. Maybe they could sense my menu awkwardness

Service chill, can pay at register in the front, like typical viet restaraunt where they kinda leave you to it. The Grandpa's noodles was good (a dryer noodle), great portion, meat was tender, the radish cube looking things was crispy bits of pork skin. The menu is unique here and mostly in vietnamese. I think I had wished for some sauce to go with the noodles (but I understand its mostly with the soup on the side), good tightness of the meatballs :D... They have the classic condiments on the side, the pickled garlic isn't very crunchy and kind of on the sweet side, the pickled chili does have that slight acidic kick that works well. I modified my noodle to egg for a dollar. The soup was good, on the more umami soy/beef side than clear. The wontons were abundant too, instead of a chili oil the sauce is more like a tangy sweet chili vinegrette thing. My accompaniment got a garlic noodle soup (fried garlic oil) that was rich and also in a huge bowl. For the price and portion its a hidden gem for someone who needs to feed a family. I showed him & everything & he was apologetic & asked what they could do to fix the situation. So I asked for a refund. And the other cashier said in Vietnamese something about me, like "Con nhỏ này" & I thought maybe he's talking about something else-but then when he gave me the receipt of my refund, he said "and I don't want you to be a customer here anymore." I was very appalled and I stood there wondering if he really just said that to me after I had an experience. I asked him why he didn't want me to be a customer anymore. And he turns to a customer to ring them out, ignoring me. So I waited til he was done with that transaction & repeated my question. He flat out said "because you're annoying." WOW. That's just so rude. And unfortunate bc I thought the food was really good & wanted to come back for the clam & the sweet corn milk.
