Gyozas (A3) Raw beef pho (01) Pho Ever Beef Special (35)

Great food every-time we go! Cant beat the prices either, although this was my first time getting gyozas from them and they did taste a little burnt? Not sure if it was from the oil it got cooked in or what. But regardless it was still delicious!

Unflavorful soup. The only authentic part of my pho is the Sriracha sauce. It loks like another korean owned pho place.

Absolutely could be a great date night. We started with an order of Crab Rangoons and Thai Tea. Both were fantastic! Some places over fry the rangoons making them overly oily or leaving a weird aftertaste. These were done just right! Filled with crab, cream cheese and celery. I would not have thought the celery would be a good addition (I hate celery) but in this moment it absolutely works! For a main we ordered round eye steak Phó and it was absolutely perfect! We agreed that the broth is one of the best we have ever had! Plenty of protein and fabulously fresh add ins (basil, limes, jalapeños and bean sprouts). Service was quick and our server was lovely. We will absolutely be back.

The vermicelli noodle egg rolls were yummy and the fish sauce was not too sweet, the chicken satay was pretty average as far as the meat but the peanut sauce? I'd DRINK that sweet firey goodness :P But the real star of the show was the chicken, onion, potato and vegetable curry. At first I was concerned spooning it out because the sauce was a little thinner than I'm used to, what a truly silly concern because there was more flavor in 1 serving spoon than in a cup of sauce from the same dish at other restaurants!! Seriously folks, don't walk RUUUUN to Lotus

The service was great and the waitress was accommodating to minor protein changes for us. We ordered seafood ramen, beef ramen, potstickers and shrimp salad rolls. The salad rolls were fresh and delicious. They came paired with a green sauce and peanut sauce. 10/10 I think these were my favorite of the meal. The potstickers were tasty as well and came with a potsticker sauce that added a perfect amount of flavor. My daughter loved these. 8.5/10 I had the beef ramen. The broth flavor and egg paired with were delicious and hearty but things fell short on the beef. I ended up picking it out of my ramen, as it was so incredibly dry and had a very odd flavor. 6/10 My boyfriend had the seafood miso ramen. He enjoyed the fresh seafood but mentioned the broth lacked flavor. After adding some chili oil he said it helped a bit. He rated it a 6.5/10. The only other thing we were a bit let down by was the water served. It had a very musty flavor and horrible aftertaste. I'd highly recommend bringing your own water.

Over the years, I've brought friends and family here, talking it up enough that they're willing to make the journey with me. I always recommend the tofu vermicelli bowl. The fact that my tofu-skeptical father sang its praises after I made him try it is a testament to its flavor. I still think of it as the gold standard of tofu. I was recently in the area for the first time in 5 or 6 years and decided to go back to Vivi's with my mom. It was the first thing that popped into both of our minds-a real jinks moment. I was nervous that it wouldn't live up to our memory. Vivi's had moved around the corner from their old location-a cute, cozy little cafe-but their new restaurant is more spacious, hopefully to accommodate the flocks of diners that their food merits. I got the tofu vermicelli, which was exactly as I remembered, equally flavorful and generous in portion size for $15. My mom got the papaya salad for $5.50. I previously thought I didn't like papaya-I was mistaken. It was a unique and refreshing dish that I would 100% go back for. Vivi's food tastes fresh and nourishing and at the same time satisfying and rich. We were short on time and were prepared to have to take it to go, but our food was out in 10 minutes. I don't usually write reviews, but after so many great experiences over the years it felt long overdue. A small business that has maintained their quality at reasonable prices over the years deserves to be recognized with a recommendation. Give Vivi's a try!

Bonus points for being in walking distance of Next Level Pinball Museum. Meal came out quick with warning its very spicy (It wasn't that spicy but it had a decent kick compared to the usual dish I've had in the Portland Area!) All-in-all, was a fantastic place to contribute to my late birthday outing.

We ordered just before 7 and it took nearly 15 minutes to get us our food (rice with pork and vermicelli with shrimp). We were the only ones waiting for food. It was $9.50 each and cash only. Yikes. We were asked multiple times if it was for here or to go. Again. Only ones there. Ample sauces to choose from while you wait. Seating very limited and the place isn't exactly spic and span. Right on the main stretch through town, so expected it to be a little overpriced, but again. Desperate time, desperate measures. While we waited, the girl you order from (maybe 14??) confused a guy named Earl's name with Girl. The wait for our food was approaching 20 minutes when it finally arrived on the counter. Service was subpar at best and parking was tricky being on the main stretch. The food ended up being alright. We were starving by the time we ate it, so that definitely influenced our opinion. We got 2x stir fried noodles, 2x skewers, 2x ice coffees and it was $60+ dollars. I understand that it's touristy and near the beach but very mid quality and a high price.
