Love the pork noodle salad! Refreshing and flavorful always enough leftovers for a second meal!

I was excited to see a Phò restaurant in Longview. I work up here two days a week and I'm always looking for a good lunch. Unfortunately, I've gotten spoiled with the variety in Vancouver, WA area and this place doesn't compare. I tried a spring roll ($1.99) avid it was jam packed with noodles, one small strip of lettuce and two shrimp, served with a peanut sauce. It was really mediocre. I also ordered a chicken sandwich ($5.99) in hopes it would be similar to a Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwich. It wasn't. It had chucks of grilled chicken a small amount of lettuce and shredded carrots with a very odd dressing which tasted like miracle whip and sugar. I only ate the chicken out of the mediocre bread. Despite today's disappointment, I'm willing to come back one more time to give the Phò a try. read more

A surprise in Longview - Pho Ever. I have been spending a week in Longview and missed having a good Pho for lunch. I tend to have it at least once a week and up to (record) 7 times in one week so I know what I consider a good Pho. I went to Pho Ever yesterday - not expecting a great Pho - but I was surprised and would recommend it. As in many Vietnamese restaurants - forget about service and a smile (why I did not give 5 stars). Not rude service but robotic - no personality. I am rating this Pho against other Pho which is why the 4 stars. I have been asked how I rate a fast food higher than a sit down. I try to review similar food. Obviously if I was comparing this to a great Seattle restaurant - it would not fare that well. read more

This is my place to go anytime I don't feel like making food at home . I order pho with spring rolls every time because they make it perfectly. The portion size is great but if you'd like to add anything extra that's also an option here. They are located in an area with allot of popular stores so it is very convenient if you want to stop by for lunch or dinner. Pho NEVER, more like. Worst pho I ever had. A Cup Noodles has more flavor and texture and is probably more culturally accurate. Speaking of culturally accurate, because they kinda looked like banh mi but weren't called as such, I asked our waitress if the sandwiches pictured in their menu were banh mi sandwiches. She replied blankly, "Sort of." Uh, banh mi sandwiches do NOT have barbecue sauce in them. It was terrible. Great food at decent prices! I'm not going to write a novel like everyone else, so here's short version of my many visits lately. I usually get the spicy chicken and rice, it's great, lots of chicken! My husband likes the pho and the daily sandwich specials. However, my FAVORITE item is the spring rolls. They're my new favorite!! Service is still poor. They need to stop table service, we always refill our own drinks, no one checks on you, gotta get up to get a box, pay up front, and a smile is rare. Very average food. No too bad, not exceptional at all. I had the Noodle Bowl Salad with pork and fried egg roll. The pork was excellent, a good quantity as well, but there was a ton of lettuce which was in large pieces instead of thinly sliced. Dressing was bland. My husband's seafood noodle dish had a large quantity of very greasy noodles, a cup of rice buried under the noodles, some broccoli and a few other veg. Not a good variety. Whole dish was bland. They only just opened and though my wife and I were a bit skeptical, they are in a mall, we decided to give them a shot especially given that they are the only pho place in the area. Everything is very clean and they were quite busy but we got a table immediately. We started with a pair of spring rolls with peanut sauce and they were exceptionally good and the sauce was even better. My wife ordered the #14, Brisket, Flank, Tendon and Tripe Pho, small and I ordered the #11, Raw beef and Tendon, large. Food came out quickly and both were fantastic. Though I could have ordered the small bowl and been perfectly happy. The most amazing thing was the amount of meat. I had tendon in almost every bite and it was amaing. My only criticism is that I would have liked more basil, jalapeno and lime although I'm sure if asked the servers would have no problem bringing that out. Only Vietnamese restaurant north of Vancouver WA. If you want great pho just drive south to Vancouver or Portland. I eat pho weekly and I gave this place a try. The flavor of the broth is what makes really good pho. This place had the broth very bland. The price was more then what I'm used to paying for pho and the size of the soup bowl was rather small. If you had no choice or didn't want to drive south 40 miles or more one way give them a try. Support your local business. read more

I was kind of surprised to see something other than burgers, tacos or "chinese" food here in kelso/longview washington. At first I went in a bit apprehensive, unsure on how good the food was, but being from Chicago I wasn't shy about food. I ordered the Pho noodles with tripe, raw brisket and tendon.. it was really good. My wife loves to order the egg rolls and spicy chicken sandwiches, which she says are also a plus. The food is reasonably priced, they have a few cool things on their beverage list, such as the thai tea. The service though... I sometimes feel as if the waitress forgets I'm there. I'm not sure if to get up and get my own refill on pepsi/coke or wait.. So while the food gets high marks from me. The service is just a little bit lacking, but its not terrible. read more

Ok so I have eaten a LOT of pho in search of the best. While PE in Longview is not the best of all time, it is certainly the best within a 30-mile radius, no doubt. For everyone complaining about poor service or unfriendly staff-perhaps try being nice yourself, or just be nice anyway. Kindness matters. My partner and I have been regulars here for close to 2.5 years since we moved here. Yes, we have gotten the occasional bowl that seemed "off" in balance of flavors, or not much meat, etc., but generally speaking, the food here is consistent. I recommend sticking to the beef options or veggie-if you do opt for chicken, request grilled breast meat only. They will make it happen, just be prepared to wait longer for your soup-but the payoff is worth it. I have found I don't care much at all for the seafood pho-but that is my personal opinion. All in all, I am giving this rating because of the service, the speed, and consistency. When I am craving the bowl of pho I must have before I die, I run up to Seattle and go to Pho So 1. read more

We are so happy Pho Ever is here so close to us. We are regulars since they opened, and we LOVE the Pho and the Pork Sandwiches and the Spring Rolls. Never order anything else but most likely great too. We travel ALOT And always look for Pho wherever we go, and have only found one better - WRONG - we have found NO better Pho, Pho Ever is the BEST OF any Pho in Portland, Vancouver BC & USA, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, etc. etc. that we have visited. Great food, great service. The pho broth is not top of the line (a little bland, needs a bit more of everything) but the beef, noodles, and other ingredients are all perfect. The surprise was the spicy pork sandwich. I was expecting a standard bahn mi, but this was some American / Viet hybrid sandwich, I don't really know how to explain it, other than that it was fantastic. In complete honesty this was the worst pho I've ever had. I have experience with many really good pho restaurants where I known everything is made traditional and fresh. All of the beef tasted really strange and the broth lacked the flavor of any traditional pho spices. My boyfriend got grilled beef and egg roll. Egg roll was basic not special. The beef was covered in barbecue sauce or something. The rice that came with the dish was overcooked and mushy. Disappointed and won't be back. read more

Very clean and neat. Super friendly waitresses with lots of energy. Even when it got busy during rush I was pleased to see the waitresses take care of other customers and myself in a timely manner. I ordered a #36, which is a Hot & Spicy Beef and Pork special. This was suggested by a waitress and I was more than pleased. The mixture of flavors has made this one a new favorite for me. Very slow service waited 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches which came finally torn apart and very sloppy couldn't eat . They remade sandwiches and then made my son's order wrong . I gave them a 2 because I still love there spicy pho. But now will find another pho house. read more

Yummy place for take out and good boba! The seafood noodle thing really has a variety seafood in it! And I say that cause sometimes when you go to places and order the mixed seafood..it comes out with shrimp and imitation crab..maybe a mussel even. But this place had all those plus more. I have pho at least once a week. I have tried several places in Portland and have found many gems. On my way home from Clallam Bay I wanted some pho, I found it in Kelso/Longview. I took the exit found pho Ever it was the worst I ever tasted. First of all, the noodles had long strips of onions wrapped inside of them and you couldn't bite them off so they just fell on your chin, the broth was flavorless I had to use a lot of soy sauce and all the other sauces to at least give it some flavor it was really bad I would never go there again. On top of all that the girl that was serving everybody there didn't look like she wanted to be there at all , she must have tasted the soup. Good luck if you decide ro go there. This review is for raw slice beef Pho. I was dissappointed when It came out fully cooked. Took a sip of the soup & it was below average. The noodles was chewy & sticky. Kind of reminded me of bubble gum. The beef was pretty good even if it was well done. I didn't see any of the staff greet any of the customers & never heard a "thank you, please come again". My mom told me she came here one time & ordered the pork chop with rice. After she recieved her food she flagged the waitress down & asked her how is she suppose to eat this pork chop with no utensils. The waitress came back with just a knife & chopsticks. But shamefully til there is another Pho place around that isn't a hour away, they will see me again. read more

Unflavorful soup. The only authentic part of my pho is the Sriracha sauce. It loks like another korean owned pho place.

I've had better. I went with some people who know their pho and were not impressed either. Don't get me wrong, the food is definitely more than edible, but we were shorted on all the goods. I had a vietnamese sandwich, which was all bread and didn't have enough meat or cilantro. The upside: it's really cheap. In Paris we had tried several different pho restaurants visited mainly by vietnamese folks at lunch. Crap compared to Pho Ever. Amidst a sea of chain restaurants in Longview, Pho Ever seemed like a welcome alternative. It was extremely bad, though. Service, as others have mentioned, is horrible. I asked if the restaurant used MSG. The server replied "don't think so" in a way that indicated "I have no idea". Our order was mixed up - we ordered salad rolls and got shrimp rolls. It was almost impossible to wave the server down to pay our bill. The service was almost comically bad. She seemed to be avoiding eye contact, and seemed very unhappy to be there. The food itself tasted like the frozen or canned "chinese food" that you buy at the supermarket. My kung pao was sugary and gloppy, heavy sauce. The peanut sauce that came with our appetizer was similarly sugary and industrial tasting, almost the worst peanut sauce I"ve tasted. I would rather eat fast food than submit myself to this place again. read more
