But don't worry... if you can't handle the spice, they dialed it down perfectly for my wife who has night shade allergies. A friendly, fresh, and authentic gluten free food truck. Every ingredient is clean and prepared safely- a safe place for people with food allergies such as Celiac. We ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice, Rainbow Buddha Bowl, and chicken tacos, and each meal was incredibly tasty. Each dish had a wide variety of vegetables along with the protein choice but it was portioned so well that every bite introduced every taste. Their sauce was a huge flavor boost too. Their cheesecake is made from scratch every Monday, and they even kept it cold for us while we ate. Seating was simplistic with two benches but it's a very calm area with a view of the river. Lettuce, cabbage, pickled radish, carrots and secret sauce. Plus a side of spring rolls. I easily ordered online and picked up my food 20 minutes later. The owner waited for me to arrive before quickly cooking the hot food to make sure my food was optimally fresh. It was a nice day out , so I sat on the picnic table and watched the most beautiful birds fly around while I enjoyed my lunch and atmosphere. The owner came over and provided a cup of water as well. We were greeted here with a genuine welcome and a warning that we'd wait 45 minutes and most protein options beside shrimp had run out. It didn't matter--my wife and I planned on visiting local antique shops anyway--but we were glad to have the warning up front. This was honestly not our first choice, as our other plans were overcrowded with holiday visitors. I was also disappointed that the options presented made me feel like flavor was sacrificed in the name of health. Despite my misgivings, I ordered the fried rice with extra egg and shrimp. My wife ordered shrimp tacos. We finished shopping and sat at the picnic tables which offered some much needed shade on a hot day. We didn't have to wait long. My wife inhaled the tacos and it was telling that she didn't offer me a bite. But that's ok--I didn't want to share my fried rice either. The rice had a nice flavor and the sauce had a mild spicy note that just hit perfectly. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The food was just fantastic. Basically, all of my expectations were wildly exceeded. We will be back again, but next time Rice & Shine will be the destination of choice. read more

This is a great little cart! I loved how fresh and beautiful the veggies were and the presentation was great in the disposable taco holders. (It makes the tacos keep from getting messed up). The service was very kind and helpful and I enjoyed my meal. I am a little less in love with the spicy sauce as it's essentially spicy mayo and it feels ill placed in a taco. However, it's a great place with easy parking and a nice little area to walk around while you wait. Great place to try! read more

I am not normally a big tofu fan, but they do something with it that makes it delicious! Easy access right off 101 with plenty of parking. You can get it to go or eat at the picnic tables on site. We had the chicken fried rice which was hands down one of the best fried rices we have had and two Buddha bowls one chicken and one tofu both with peanut sauce and the food was fresh and light with generous portion size and the tofu was out of this world !!!! Unfortunately they were out of the vegan cheesecake but we are already planning a return visit to give it a try !!! I'm a gluten free vegetarian and my wife has a nightshade allergy and they were super nice with helping to cook up a good meal. My wife had the shrimp fried rice and I had the tofu Buddha bowl. The sauces were amazing - I loved the gochujang and the peanut sauce. We did not eat there, but there are awesome tables and picnic tables available and the parking was super easy.
