The food was delicious. The staff/service was horrible. I know it's a food truck, I'm not going there to be waited on. I went there because we were on the road and were not looking for a sit-down restaurant. I thought we were lucky because we got there and were able to order well before the mobs of tourists de-boarded the sightseeing train next door and started mobbing the trailer. Once I started seeing the people that ordered after me, I became concerned. After about 20 minutes of this, I tried to talk to the kid at the register taking orders. It was chaos, I held my tongue. After politely asking where the order was, he apologized and said i was up next. I continued to wait. Many more orders for people that ordered after me continued to receive their orders. Another customer asked why I had been waiting so long but I didn't have an answer. After 45 minutes I cut another customer off and told the kid that I assume that I have been forgotten again and I just wasn't going to get my order. Again, he apologized and said it's on the way. The Good Samaritan fellow customer was called up to get his order and he said that he was going to give me his meal and wait for them to make another. At this point the kid brought me the one 5-piece fish and chips and apologized saying that our order was at the bottom of the page and was missed. Look, I get it. It's a food truck and dealing with the hordes of tourists can be rough, I know. But the fact that their ordering system is a book of notebook paper with handwritten orders and a name doesn't cut it. I have to assume that Mom and Dad started this great little side hustle and put their two teenage boys in there to run it. I know they can do better. Great food. I would have ordered another 5- piece but i needed to get back on the road after this unexpected and prolonged break. read more

Awesome fish and chips! So fresh! The service was friendly as well. We stopped in while on our way back to Portland from Rockaway. We've heard great things and love fish and chips, so we had to try it for ourselves. We weren't disappointed. We tried the halibut fish & chips ($24). The halibut was fresh, batter not too thick, and fries crunchy. The tartar sauce was good, too! We were tempted to try the Ling cod as well, but knew that would be too much food. The portions are generous. We'll definitely be back to try the Ling cod and tuna. The owner highly recommended the tuna, but the season just started, so hopefully, they'll have some next time we're in the area. They have a large area of picnic tables to eat outside. The cart was really busy on Sunday around 11:30am. Most items were out except for the cod, clam strips and jumbo shrimp baskets. There is limited parking available but plenty of picnic tables to eat at. They are right on the corner of a busy street so it can be difficult to get in and out. The food was great for our family. We had quite a bit left over due. The clam strips were a bit small but the jumbo shrimp and cod was great. They don't have any bags and food is not served in a closed container so if you need to carry out multiple items by yourself, good luck! read more

The halibut was perfectly tender, the batter was light and crispy (with absolutely NO weird sogginess between the fish and batter) the fries were crispy and flavorful, and the house made tartar complemented the fish perfectly.
