I love this restaurant! It has an amazing ambience. The interior is very comfortable, aesthetic, and also well designed. I really like the modern look of it. The Vietnamese restaurants I've been to before, have never paid much detail to appearance, which hasn't been a concern for me in rating their food, but nice decor can never hurt. The prices are also very affordable, and the menu is pretty comprehensive. There's also a bar. I also like how it's never been too crowded for me in there. Overall, after recently moving to Framingham, Pho Dakao is definitely my favorite Vietnamese restaurant around the area. The portions are a bit smaller, and I will say that it is a little bit of a hassle to park near the restaurant, but I think it's well worth it. read more

The Pho is amazing but for some reason it could always be more hot. The service is soso but anywhere there is great pho its always soso.

Like other reviewers, I was a big fan of Pho Pasteur and miss it greatly since moving to the metrowest. We are thrilled with the addition of Pho Dakao to Framingham - the food is delicious and fresh and I can't recommend it enough! Both dining in and takeout are always perfect! This was the best Vietnamese food that I've had in a very long time. We were there about 5 p.m. so it was pretty quiet. The place had started to fill up by the time we left at 6:30 p.m.--prices were reasonable, service was fairly quick, selection was excellent. Can't wait to go back! read more

A hidden gem in downtown of Framingham. I've eaten here several times and also have picked up food to go. The food is great and the customer service is excellent. The servers are very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to family with kids. Fyi, if the parking in the back of the building is full, I recommend public parking w/in walking distance. read more

I had been to their restaurant in Worcester a few times and now that they are open in Framingham we go all the time. The soup is great and very reasonably priced. The sweet and spicy shrimp soup is delicious and order a side of rice noodles to make it perfect. The chicken pho is also very good. Have had a few of the appetizers which are also good. Pho broth is good to vienamese expectants. Very disappointed in the house chix wings. Very bland and sauce it came woth is nuoc mam lol.

Great place for traditional Vietnamese food. We ordered pho dakao chicken and sautéed chicken curry. Both were excellent and had the perfect spice level. For appetizer we got Crab Rangoon which was super creamy and yummy. Loved the place overall. Will definitely visit again! :) read more

Have been there 3 times. First time the food, ambience and service was excellent. Second visit was a total miss. The wait staff was inexperienced . Order was lost and when we finally flagged her down she place all the wrong items . We ate what she brought. Third and final visit, guess we wanted to give it another chance. Waiter forgot some appetizers, they were still on the bill, until we complained. When the meals finally came out, which was a long wait , they were all cold. Obviously wait staff can not get anything right or out of the kitchen when it is hot. . This is not a place you want to spend a frustrating lunch or dinner at. read more

I honestly love this place. I only get the pho so I can't speak for anything else but this is as good as I've had. I went to school/work around the area so whenever I want something to eat, I come here almost every time. The staff is very polite and the manager/owner is as well. You can't go wrong with a big reasonable bowl of delicious pho for 9-10 bucks and a cold beer. Simply perfect! read more

This was the worst dinner we have ever eaten out. Ordered chicken wings as appetizer with no flavor whatsoever and dry. Fried rice entree not fried rice but just tasteless white rice with a few peas. Steak entree also not good. Mai thai tasted like juice with no liquor taste at all. Have never reviewed a restaurant before but this meal was so terrible just had to write this review. read more

The food is absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that they often get the order wrong, both in the restaurant and in takeout orders; be sure to check your takeout order before you walk out the door. Several examples from this week: three of us ate in the restaurant and one of the entrees was not as ordered. We also ordered a vegetarian pho to go and discovered the next day that it contained bloody red meat, and the entire thing was thrown out (vegetarians don't eat meat, much less bloody meat in soup). I picked up a takeout order recently and one entire paid-for entree was missing from the package. They prepared it while I waited. read more

Any Vietnamese place worth its salt should be able to make a good Pho. This place fails. We were so disappointed with our first visit there; and we will definitely not be going back. We had lukewarm and boring Pho, and a rather limp and tasteless papaya salad. One of the people on our table ordered a Margarita, and it arrived *after* we were done with dinner. We are small eaters, and didn't order a lot of food. The waiter said "Wow" and shook his head when we didn't order a lot of food. Hardly professional behavior, I would say! The only reason I can imagine that this restaurant does well is because there aren't really any Vietnamese restaurants around and people eat what they can get! This place wouldn't survive a week in NYC. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want a meh/bland culinary experience. read more

They withdrew $50 on my 16 year old son's debit card for a $15 meal. They never returned calls. Finally after talking to the owner he said they have no record of the transaction. They do not seem to be genuine. Beware using your debit card at this place. read more
