The Pho Dac Biet is amazing. The broth has the aroma of the real Phở (not too strong or too fade) but in the right spot. I love that it takes very quick to order and get the food (2-3 times faster than a regular Vietnamese restaurant). The broth is still hot until I finished (love hot food). we were headed next door to the tandoori place when my son saw this spot and decided he'd rather have a sandwich. probably fairer to say 3.5 rounded up, but we did have bahn mi and egg rolls (chả giò) and not the pho. after all, the restaurant is call Pho Central. the sandwiches were good (we had the grilled chicken and the grilled pork). meat was cooked to order, hot and fresh, and the toasted bread was crispy and hot out of the oven. vegetables were a little light but we've gotten so conditioned by supersizing it's not realistic to expect everything over the top. I've had better egg rolls. filling was a bit muddled (and had a kind of extruded look when I peaked inside) and would have liked more and different herbage (basil and cilantro) as well as the mint for the wraps. read more

David the owner was very welcoming, he gave us a great tour of their menu and popular items selected. The inside was clean, played great music and even had the basketball game on. All the food came out really fast, nice and warm. The pho was so delicious, I only added a little bit of lime but didn't want to add more sauces since the broth was so tasty. The pork spring rolls had pork cracklings, that is a first. Tasty, crunchy and complemented the peanut sauce so well. Loved the Jazmin Tea over the Thai, they have the option to add boba if you prefer. There was so much food I could not eat the chicken ban mih but at least I have a great snack to share with my wife later. Will def come visit David again for his great food and amazing smile. We were 4 people came to have lunch in Pho Central. How weird, Pho is very hot but they served with plastic spoons. Tea looks like they mixed water with yellow color, no smell, no taste. Both were dry with barely any filling. They had a sliver of meat and a lot of cilantro sticks. The bread was delicious and fresh. But that's all it was- dry bread. The service was excellent. I was excited to try this new place since it had really high reviews here on yelp. We placed an order for eggrolls, broken rice with grilled pork and eggrolls, and special combination pho. Service was quick. We initially decided to eat at the tables outside because it was SUPER hot and humid inside the restaurant and it was actually cooler outside. But we couldn't enjoy our meal outside either because my kids and I were constantly bothered by bees. We decided to finish our dinner inside the restaurant and brought all of our dishes inside. The eggrolls were ok, a bit greasy and needed more herbs other than the provided lettuce leaves and mint. The pho broth was tasty, but the bean sprouts they served with it weren't fresh. They were old and brown on the tips. My kids usually love grilled pork, but they didn't like this one because it was too sweet. There's self serve water from a dispenser on the counter. It would have been nice if they had ice water available especially during the middle of the heat wave this weekend. We might give this place another try...maybe during the winter months or if we want to feel like we're actually eating pho in Saigon during summer. Had lunch inside. Staff was super nice. Food was less than ok. The rare beef pho meat was dry. The broth was decent but definitely not amazing. It had a touch of sweetness, but more so salty than anything. The egg rolls had crispy wrappers, but were skinny like lumpia. I didn't taste any meat and they were mushy on the inside. I would stay clear of the "tempura" shrimp. It's not tempura, but more of a penko crust. Other than the ketchup that they are served with, they have ZERO flavor. Tasted like a frozen appetizer. This place would be fine for lunch on the run, when you work in a nearby complex, but it's far from being a definite go to for pho.
