Favorite spot for classic Vietnamese breakfast
Truc L.

One of the most well-known Vietnamese pho spots in DFW. The broth can be a little hit or miss sometimes, but overall the food is still really good. This place is always busy, yet the staff is quick and efficient, so the wait usually moves fast. It has that classic old-school pho restaurant atmosphere that feels authentic and nostalgic.

I don't know why so many people say Pho Bac is the best pho in DFW... it's definitely not. I thought the broth was very bland. I tasted pho flavors but a watered down version of it. The meat was good quality but the subpar broth kinda ruined the entire bowl. The restaurant was packed when I went. I had to wait in line and then ended up sitting next to other people.

Pho Bac is goated been my go to Viet spot for a while now and given how busy it is most of the time that seems to be the case for a lot of people. It's what you want from a good Asian place, no frills straight to the point quality food. Anytime I go anywhere else I judge compared to Pho Bac. Our regular orders are the combo pho, whole Cornish hen, and grilled pork over rice (or vermicelli depending on the mood). I like that they let you customize the pho protein if you want to. When it's time for pho, you'll find me at Pho Bac

There was no wait, very busy. We got chicken and beef pho. A friend got the pork chop dish. After we got our food, service wasn't the best they didn't bring our friend a knife to cut the pork chop. This is a decent bowl of a pho, it was on the plain side when it came to flavor but it did have a good chicken broth flavor & when you add the greens, sprouts jalapeños lime, sriracha and oyster sauce it's good

Beef pho, pork banh mi

Excellent pork banh mi, excellent service, delicious pho (I got a beef pho), and good ambiance. If I lived here I would be a regular. Great price on the banh mi at just $6.50 for a foot of sandwich- that's beating Subway XD

Used to think all pho tastes the same but this pho was solid solid. Came on the first really cold day of the year and they were slammed but still able to seat us fast and didn't have to wait too long for the food. Straight forward menu and everything was great.

The broth in their shrimp pho is very flavorful, but I always order a side of grilled pork to enhance the flavor like my favorite place in OKC.

when asking locals or reddit for pho recommendations in dallas, pho bác will probably be at the top of the list. thus, i had high expectations, none of which were really met. the pho đặc biệt broth was really flat and watery; i couldn't taste any of the common spices, and it was just meh. the meat was also okay, nothing impressive. the meatball doesn't have any flavor and was rubbery as well. the bun bo huế was somehow even more bland than the pho. just flat overall i would not come back unfortunately since there's usually a line out the door too

Flavorful broth with good selection of meats and affordable prices! You can do S,M,L bowl sizes which is a bonus since I usually can't finish a regular bowl! Service is fast, and you get seated very quickly! The place stays busy, but there's ample parking and seating! Overall a solid place for pho!

Hu Tieu Bo Kho

The best Vietnamese food I've had in Dallas area, however, I must say Vietnamese food in Dallas is far below sub-par. Overall, it is decent. Food comes out very, very fast. I tried my mom's hu tieu bo kho and would probably get that if I ever came back. The bun thit Nuong was okay. The thit nuong is too thick and chewy for my liking, but fish sauce is on par. Probably wouldn't get it again as it wasn't anything special. Pricing is reasonable and there are small, medium and large sized bowls for the noodle soups (pho, bo kho, etc.).

Yep yep yep YEP. This pho was EXCELLENT super duper gas, tops some of the ones I had in Vietnam. The broth was super flavorful yet managed to stay light at the same time it was like witchcraft. The Kobe beef was extremely tender and practically melted in your mouth. Absolutely wonderful meal, I wish it wasn't so far from me :(

Overall Rating: 4 (0 = good, X = bad) 1. Atmosphere: O - Atmosphere was open and pleasant, during busy hours they can get packed but that can't be helped 2. Service: O - Quick and bilingual (English and viet) 3. Food/Products: O - I got the pho tai, the broth was very rich and overall it tasted amazing. 4. Pricing: O - Affordable pricing and reasonable, for pho, it goes small: 10, medium: 11, and large: 14. 5. Overall Experience: O - Awesome, not much else to say, get your pho and eat up Highlights/Recommendations: mmmh pho makes me feel warm

I got salmonella poisoning from this place on July of 2018 from the chicken banh mi. Absolutely disgusting, and sickening. Don't eat here,
