Fresh Spring Rolls - Goi Cuon
    Kaila T.

I've been coming to this location for years now. I can say with confidence that this never disappoints! Every time I visit this spot the customer service is always top tier. From them coming by to fill water or asking you would you like anything additional. From the feasible prices to the quality food they produce. I decided to come here on a Saturday while wrapping up doing my errands. One of the things I do like about this place is how great the pho noodle soup broth tastes. Even before I put any Sriracha, soy sauce in the bowl the taste is simply incredible. I will definitely be back soon to enjoy another delicious bowl of Pho.

Not a bad spot for Vietnamese food! Large casual restaurant with kind staff. Got seated immediately for Sunday lunch. Got the the fresh spring rolls with grilled pork and it was pretty good but wished there was more than just meat, noodles, and lettuce. Some additional veggies like cucumber, mint, and carrot would have been nice. For mains, we ordered the special vermicelli - bun dac biet and a special pho - pho dac biet. I enjoyed all the toppings on my vermicelli - large portion and flavorful. The fish sauce could have been a little stronger though. My husband didn't love his pho but I thought it was fine! He said it wasn't as flavorful as other places but I thought it was fine - you could really taste the spices, but maybe less meaty flavor? Overall we were satisfied with our lunch and left full!

Staff is super! I came here for dinner with my Husband and son. I accidentally left my purse and when I came back, staff was super courteous and had it in a safe storage area. We enjoyed our pho and spring rolls. I also tried the green tea smoothie with tapioca which was excellent. They opened since 1997 and not many business have lasted so long on Buford Highway!

Hands down my FAVORITE pho place in Atlanta. I love to come here when I feel like I haven't eaten properly in a while. There are plenty of noodle soup dishes that come in big portions. Service is fast. The place is spacious. All of their dishes are fragrant and fantastic.

A friend and I had dinner here on our way home from the airport. It has a large brightly lit dining room. We were immediately shown to a booth and given glasses of water and the very extensive menus. Besides many versions of pho, there were sections for noodle dishes, bahn mi, and other items, plus beverages. I ordered a noodle dishes with pork (#36) and my friend, who was trying pho for the first time had #1. We both ordered a frozen fruit tea, mine was honeydew with tapioca boba and hers was taro. We were both really pleased with the food. It was delicious. The portions were plentiful. The staff were very good: courteous, helpful, competent. At the end of the meal (just before the restaurant closed for the night) we paid our tab at the counter in the back of the room.

Pretty good Vietnamese restaurant if you need some 술국. Fast and good service, and the quality is not bad. We all ordered shrimp pho, two small and two medium. The spring rolls were okay too.

For an appetizer we got the order of 3 spring rolls with shrimp. The bun with grilled pork and cha gio egg roll was delicious and very filling. I brought at least half home for later. My husband had the bahn mi dac biet. He said it was tasty, crunchy on the outside, soft on the interior. He brought half home for later. The dining space is large. The service was acceptable. The sriracha is not the original formula due to a feud with the pepper farmer and the manufacturer.

One of my favorite pho places in the Atlanta area, decent prices and serving sizes with fast service! The restaurant is pretty calm the majority of the time I've been and very clean. I usually get the pho, but at this time I decided to get the vermicelli noodles and fried shrimp rolls. Generous portion size and lots of protein in the dish. Definitely was enough to be full and have some leftovers. I'll come back again when I'm in the Doraville area!

Pho tasted absolutely delicious and the staff working here are very nice. I love the beef because when they say it is brisket it is actually delicious fatty brisket and not dry meat! Food came out very fast. Definitely going back here to try everything else on the menu.

    3. Tai, Chin, Gau, Gan, and Sach

I ordered the #3 small pho with Tai, Chin, Gau, Gan, and Sach and the broth was okay. It was not as rich as I'd hoped for. The restaurant offers a lot of options besides pho such as com tam, banh mi, bo kho, etc. The service was great and they were able to accommodate our large party of 13. The food also came out within minutes of ordering. This place is a very authentic Vietnamese restaurant for Georgia; it seemed like I was eating pho back in my hometown (California).

Pho Bac is still my tried and true Viet place after sooo many years! There is free plentiful parking out front and service is always quick! I get the #1 Pho Dac Biet XL and it definitely fills me up! There is a great amount of meat and noodles and oh so good!

Pho was good !! I ordered the Pho Dac Biet XL.. it was well proportioned. The service was fast, but after you get your food you do not see the waiters again. A little crowded and loud, but you can get in there a feed your hunger.

So far I have had the pho twice, the rice cubes, and the shaking beef. Everything tasted great. Big parking lot for free parking. It is amazing how similar my visits have been. Staff was not as attentive as I would have like. My table had everything I needed so my meal was not interrupted. Getting my bill took longer than expected. I think the servers do not want to interrupt your meal but I wish they would come by more often. This place looks a little rough on the outside but it is extremely clean and some what fancy on the inside. The combination Pho has all the different types of meat. I think their dishes although prepared authentically are underwhelming in terms of the depths in flavor and really the soul of Vietnamese food. I'm not an expert but I've eaten my fair share of Vietnamese food for a standard issue white girl. The pork patty was dry and likely made at the beginning of the week and just reheated as the week went on. It was pretty bland and had this rubbery overly bouncy consistency and literally snapped when I bit into it. It basically got lost amongst all the fresh herbs too. As you can tell from the photo the Bánh bột chiên was burnt and it ended up being burnt on both sides. The squares were cut too thick...and because they were cut too thick they were on the mushy side even after being overly pan fried. All of the veg was fresh and well cleaned, the rice noodles were not overly sticky and clumped together. The pickled carrot/daikon were tasty. The server I had was attentive and polite. The interior was as to be expected and I couldn't care less that it's a little rough around the edges. If the tile isn't cracked, if the booth's vinyl isn't taped up, the utensils aren't mismatched and the tables aren't wobbly then I don't trust the place!! Like I said-I don't dislike it here. I just don't see the hype. Then again I feel like I have to piece together my favorite dishes from several spots between Doraville/Chamblee and Duluth, so maybe it's because I haven't found one place that checks all the boxes and I can get all my favs from one place. I will come again...because I love Bánh hỏi.

There's no real ambiance to speak of--but when the food is this good, it truly doesn't matter. The value here is incredible. Good food reminds me that God is real because WHEW I felt blessed eating here LOL. The best in price, the best in quality, and the best in quantity... there are 10s across the board. It was a little cramped in the dining area around 4PM on a Saturday, so I got some sandwiches to go. I'd say there are about 15 tables (4-seats) max in this space, so it can fill up fast. They do have a few chairs to sit near the front door while waiting for your to-go order. The service was really great, and the women working the floor were all smiles. It took around 10 minutes from ordering to get our goods. Now to the food. Words cannot express the bliss I experienced biting into these sandwiches. We did the buy 5 get 1 free deal, which is a certified steal given the quality of the food. It came out to 25.75 after taxes and card fee -- C'MON NOW! The Capricorn in me loves a good deal. Half were the #6, the other three were the #7. The bread banged, the meats' quality and quantity were absolutely outstanding, and it was stuffed full of all the amazing veggie fixings and condiments. The seasonings are YUM with a nice hint of spice to round out the flavor. The sandwich literally had the perfect ratio of everything. And no re-heating necessary! These sandwiches were eaten over the course of two days and they didn't become hard or soggy, a testament to the quality. I have nothing else to say and I promise you the banh mi speaks for itself. I didn't try the pho this time but I'm adding it to my list!

It was busy inside, but our party of 10 was promptly seated, though we were a little squished into a circular table. I didn't remember this last time, but instead of telling a server what you want, you mark it down on a paper menu and hand it to the server. This time I got the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodles and the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Garlic Noodle. I was really excited to try both since they both sounded so good. Ultimately the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodle was a little underwhelming - the noodles themselves weren't very flavorful, and the BBQ pork was on the drier side. The pork did have decent flavor, and all the toppings/side items (wontons, fried egg, bok choy) were great, but all in all fell a little short of my hopes. The Salted Egg Yolk Garlic Noodles had better flavor, but I could've used even more garlic and butter. The shrimp definitely carried the salted egg yolk flavor, but the fried batter was a bit soggy/soft in my opinion. I wished it was crisper. Service was a tad slow, but perhaps they're understaffed and/or it was busy that night. I do love the menu concept of positioning it like a magazine catalog - it makes for a fun experience instead of just words on paper
