SN1) Mi Xao Don hoac Mem - Combination Fried or Soft Egg Noodles
Emma N.

This place was great! We ordered take out from here the other evening. I placed my order on the phone without any complications. The restaurant seemed nice when I went to pick up the food too. Everyone was really friendly. We ordered the Hoanh Thanh Chien - Crispy Pork Wontons (A6) which were good. The sauce was yummy, but I might try a different appetizer next time. I also ordered the chicken pho (P1) which was really delicious. It came with the sauces on the side, so once you add them in, the broth is even better! My husband ordered Mi Xao Don hoac Mem - Combination Fried or Soft Egg Noodles (SN1) with fried noodles. It was really good! The flavor was incredible! I'd never had this dish before and would definitely recommend it! A great experience. I look forward to eating here again soon.

BYO shrimp and tofu pho

Neighborhood spot that I love going to! The pho is amazing. I always get the oxtail pho and it doesn't disappoint! Lots of tables to choose your own seat. Fast, quick service! My kids love the boba too!

The blood from the meat in the bottom of the bag.

Recently I tried Pho Avina after seeing a raving review on a FB page I am part of. I got it to go. I ordered two Pho Tai, two orders of pork egg rolls and one order of short ribs. The egg rolls were delicious..the short ribs had good flavor but a LOT of oil/grease and a lot of fatty pieces instead of good meat. The Pho without adding sauces was just ok. I wouldn't rave about the flavors. Once I added the oyster sauce and the spicy sauce, it improved a little. I also added the lemon but prefer lime with my pho. I also got a mango pineapple boba smoothie. Now this I would be back for by itself. Delicious! The main reason I docked a star was because the meat they gave me was raw. This isnt necessarily bad as usually pho has thinly sliced meat placed in the bowl and then the boiling hot water poured over it, and the noodles, thus cooking the meat, but what bothered me more was the fact that the bag they put it in did not seal shut and so the blood from the meat got over all of the utensils and everything else in the bag, thus rendering all of the rest of the items unusable. (See pictures) I might try this location again if I were to go eat in the restaurant but probably won't get to go again.

Snow desserts

Came here for try the desserts! Pho Avina's fruit shaved snow is incredible. We were quickly seated at one of the dozens of tables by staff. They were efficient in taking orders and quick to bring out the desserts. We ordered taro, coconut, and mango flavors which were perfect for sharing amongst 6 people. Would definitely get this again!

P2. Pho Tai / Eye Round

A great place to get some inexpensive pho. I got the Pho Tai dinner sized, and I was surprised when this huge bowl was served to me. The pho was okay, there was nothing that really made it stand out, but it definitely has great value that would make me come back again. I have not tried their other menu items, like the drinks. The waitress was extremely nice and worked fast between all the tables that she had.

I've been here many times (probably over 20) in the course of 2 years- any every time without fail, I enjoy myself here. I've gone with a group of 8 people, 3 people, 2 people, and by myself and every time is enjoyable. The service is great- always bring water and offer the menu. There is a man and woman there who run the restaurant and they eventually remember your face and what you order (if you are a regular) which is nice. Multiple times, I would go with my aunt and as of recently she had not been coming along and the woman there would ask about my aunt and where she was- it's the small things like this that makes a restaurant feel inviting and homey. This restaurant is like going home for a meal. The place itself is cozy and the service is always friendly and punctual. All dishes have been delicious. On different occasions, I have gotten the beef pho, chicken pho, meatball pho, shrimp pho, fresh shrimp spring roll, fresh veggie spring roll, and various vermicelli noodle dishes and each have been satisfying and delicious. When I feel like a sweet treat, I will order the Vietnamese coffee or shaved ice dish with sweet toppings like chocolate sauce, etc. They also serve boba drinks and smoothies. As most Vietnamese restaurants are popular for their pho, I will say that this restaurant has delicious pho. The broth is rich and the noodles are perfectly cooked. Whatever meat is added is always fresh and perfectly cooked. They will give you a small dish with toppings before the soup comes out. There are two sizes for pho- lunch and dinner. I usually get the lunch size because the dinner portion is huge!! All that to say, this is easily one of my favorite go-to restaurants.

Came here for a girls night and it was great! Pho was tasty and I also got the vegetarian spring rolls which were delicious and fresh. Family restaurant and the energy was great! Welcoming service from the employees that leans on that family atmosphere.

Pho combo flank steak and shrimp

The service was great! They were very welcoming and kind and served our food quick! I ordered the pho combo flank steak and shrimp. It was alright, not bad but the broth tasted a little old and not fresh. Don't get me wrong I still ate it but I wouldnt go back for the pho. I would love to try their other dishes though. Again, the service was great :) the price was great especially for the portion!

When you walk in, you scan a QR code at your table to place your order, if you need help they are there to help you, and your meal is brought to your table in a boiling hot pot that continues to cook your food. I ordered the vegetable hot pot with lamb on the side, my daughter got the kimchi dumpling hot pot, and her friend ordered the seafood hot pot. Everything came out steaming hot, fresh, and full of flavor. If you need more broth, they're happy to bring you extra. The atmosphere is calm, and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. They also serve complimentary green tea, which was such a nice touch. It reminded me of going to Chinese restaurants as a kid when they would bring hot tea to the table. It brought back wonderful memories. The regular size was more than enough food for me, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and quick to prepare and serve everything. I definitely recommend Tasty Pot if you're looking for a comforting, flavorful meal and a fun dining experience. I'll definitely be back again!

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.

We shared the Hunter Stew and the dumplings. We then fought over the last bite of cake Kievskiy. If you haven't tried this cake, it's a must. Parking is pretty small so parking can be a little difficult when it gets busy! Service is decent and they are very friendly but could be more attentive. It is pretty spacious inside with plenty of indoor seating. However, it can get pretty loud when it is busy so it might be hard to hear one another They offer Korean BBQ but it isn't all you can eat, as well as Korean dishes (tofu soup, bulgogi, bibimbap, etc.), and sushi. There is even a lunch special menu Mon-Fri 11-2:30pm and has a good selection of bento boxes! I've gotten their beef teriyaki bento box and it came with rice, salad, 2 piece California rolls, and 2 pc fried gyozas. Pricing is $13-20 The beef teriyaki is pretty tender, flavorful, and not too salty. The salad is underwhelming and didn't have fresh greens. The fried gyozas were decent, nothing special. The California rolls were ok, not bad. I would say it's 7/10. The bibimbap was very fresh and delicious but a little pricey ($18.95). The bulgogi was marinated very well and rice was super crispy inside the hot stone bowl. Seafood tofu soup was pretty good and not too overly salty. It was very flavorful and the tofu was very soft. I would say it's 8/10 Would definitely recommend and return

The sandwiches were served with a bag of chips and the cabbage rolls (it was an entree) was served with a basket of bread. After we finished eating, the owner told us he'd just made some fresh Potato Pancakes (they're not on the menu), if we wanted some. We were pretty full, but freshly made Potato Pancakes are a weakness. So, we ordered one and split it. It was sooooo good!!!! They have a large table filled with fresh baked goods...desserts and breads. We took a look and bought a container of Coconut Macaroon Cookies dunked in Chocolate and a loaf of Rye Bread. BTW, after we got home, I tried one of the cookies with a glass of milk. OMG!! We definitely don't want to wait another 9 years before coming back, I'm thinking within the next few weeks!!
