Bobalicious Milk Tea with honey tapioca
Ailun H.

Overall, 3.5/5 but will bump it to a 4/5 since the cafe is still new with lots of room for improvement. I got take out here (ordered via Toast Tab) for a couple friends and myself earlier this week. I also got boba while picking up the food since I have no self-control. BOBALICIOUS MILK TEA (MEDIUM) - 6.25 +0.75 for honey tapioca I got this with 25% sugar and very light ice. The tea flavor was strong, but too over-steeped. Not much milk flavor, so the ratio was off. The tapioca here was way too soft and mushy with no bouncy texture or any flavor. Overall, I wouldn't pay that much for the boba here and would get it elsewhere. PHO COMBINATION - 15.99 We got this to-go and enjoyed it 30 minutes after pick up and it was still good. I like the packaging they use here where they separated the meat + broth from the pho noodles to keep the noodles fresh. The broth was pretty flavorful and still enjoyable even though it was lukewarm. There was a good amount of meat in my portion, too. The interior is spacious and clean, and the service was nice. I'd come back for pho in the future if I'm craving it. Definitely will need to eat it at the cafe instead of getting it to-go.

first time here! i got the poke bowl ,ingredients were super fresh, thai iced tea not too sweet but still maintained its iconic flavor! service was timely and friendly with a quiet and inviting atmosphere! my mom and aunt got the pho beef and the pho chicken and said it was really good!

Not worth the price in my opinion, if you can drive or can get to another pho location outside of Arlington I would go there instead. I think this is a convenient spot for the locals of Arlington but it isn't entirely good either. The Pho is fine, the beverages are overly sweet or not sweet at all depending on the adjustment of the sugar level. I would take the food to go as it isn't a large store. There is seating and outdoor seating, so you can eat here but big groups may struggle eating here. It's a cute store with hello kitty theme everywhere, and the service was nice too. It's unfortunate the food isn't entirely tasty nor are the drinks.

Easy, yummy, and friendly. They serve banh mi, tacos, poke bowls, and pho. In addition they have a wide range of teas and drinks. We ordered pho and a banh mi to go. Service was quick and nice. Food was delicious and well priced. Would come back again for an easy casual meal. Perfect for every day.

We were on the way home talking about getting coffee or boba tea when the yellow "Bobalicious Cafe" sign caught our attention. When asked, they said they it's been about 2 weeks since they opened. The cafe itself was pretty empty, especially for a Saturday afternoon. They had many drink options, but I was feeling very indecisive. We ended up ordering a large Vietnamese sea salt coffee and a regular size brown sugar milk tea with very little ice and sugar. We regretted not asking for less ice for the Vietnamese sea salt coffee; the brown sugar milk tea tasted okay. The prices were a little higher than what I'm used to seeing at my regular spots, but most likely because the area. There is paid parallel street parking available, first-come-first serve. The restaurant itself was very clean and the decoration was lovely, with the hats and orchid flowers. I love that they have the menu displayed behind the counter. I can't say that I would return only because I rarely come to this area.

Banh Mi Crispy Roasted Pork

Having traveled a bit within Vietnam, there are dozens of variations of pho - not even mentioning Hanoi vs Saigon style, but in the DMV area I've found two styles of beef pho: create your own adventure and holy grail broths. The holy grail broths that don't require any seasoning or condiments are few and far between. The create your own adventure broths are everywhere. Unfortunately, Pho & Banh mi Eatery falls into latter category. I tried their combination beef pho and crispy roast pork banh mi. The brisket, eye round, and meatballs in the pho were tender and flavorful. The banh mi was excellent, with crispy pork with a nice glaze. My only complaint is that I wished the baguette was a bit crispier and had a better chew. The service was excellent and the dining room is clean and spacious. I look forward to coming back soon.

Stopped by for a quick pick me up and it was pretty good! There is also Vietnamese food that you can order as well. The employees were nice and the drink came out fast. I ordered the peach yogurt drink with aloe jelly with 50% sugar and it was refreshing, flavorful, and not too sweet. My other friends did not like their taro milk tea or blended coffee drink as much so I recommend getting a fruit one! They also have pretty decor on the wall and the place seemed clean.

Very nice eatery, although a bit on the pricey side for what it is in my opinion! I will take it as an occasional treat, though. I had the grilled chicken banh mi sandwich, plus a large Vietnamese iced-coffee with boba. In the main room, there is some cute decor, such as a mural painting on one of the walls and Vietnamese straw hats along a couple of the walls. The one and only suggestion I have is that "a lot" could be done to make the bathroom more interesting looking, because it is very bare and boring in my opinion. May I suggest maybe adding a cute Vietnamese-style mural painting in the bathroom like there is in the main room, maybe hang some lanterns from the ceiling, and put in a dimmer light? I think the bathroom could look so much more interesting with these changes! Maybe also play Vietnamese music? Otherwise, all else was great!

Food was nice and hot, and the spice level was on point. Also, there was easily enough for two meals.

Vietnamese Coffee Slush

This place is amazing--a true hidden gem! It's right in the heart of Arlington, easy to miss, but definitely worth stopping for. My friend and I went and ordered the shrimp pho, summer roll, egg roll, tuna poke bowl, and baked salmon teriyaki bowl. The portions were HUGE! We couldn't finish anything and went home with leftovers for dinner. It was the perfect spot for lunch--I even took calls and got some work done while eating. Super clean! It would be great for dinner too! The Sea Salt Coffee was incredible--rich, not too sweet, not too strong--just the perfect balance. I will definitely be back! The salmon was cooked to perfection, and best of all, the customer service was amazing. They are a small business that I truly hope grows very soon. Highly recommend!

thai tea with boba (regular size)

I got the thai tea with boba and it was a pretty standard drink. I got the smallest size and it ended up being nearly $8. The drink was okay but was not worth the price paid. The service was pretty quick since I was the only person there and the ambiance inside was nice as well. There was a Sanrio theme going on.

Pho is delicious ... presentation eh I dunno felt like we were back in covid era with condiments in bags. Didn't get offered water...ordered coke n got styrofoam cup with ice...try ordering boba and 9 dollars didn't sit right with me...as far as service very attentive kind people ...

Cute Atmosphere, Friendly Service and Delicious Drinks!! Give this family owned business a try!! You won't regret it. I had the Lychee GreenTea with Lychee Jelly, PassionFruit GreenTea and Taro Slushie. Will definitely return for more!

They do get busy at times, but their drinks are always consistent and the service is pretty fast. I also recently noticed that they use organic milk for their drinks, which made me even more impressed. It's great to see a shop that cares about the quality of ingredients they use. Jay, the owner, always stands behind the quality of his drinks and the service. I've been here multiple times, both to grab drinks to go and to sit and work for a while. It's always a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!

This spot was a few doors down from where we had lunch, so I decided to check them out. I saw they had matcha, but no options without milk. So I asked the cashier if I could get an iced matcha made with water instead of milk. I will pay for a version with milk, but I only wanted matcha, water, and the toppings. No milk, no dairy subs, no sweetness. She said she could do this in slush form. I asked what that meant and she said it's just like a slushie made with ice. That's sounded fine so I said go ahead. I got he receipt above, so I made sure to confirm there is no milk, no sugar. Just the matcha, water, and toppings, right? She said yes, so I went over to the seating area to wait. I figured the 10% sweetness and whole milk was something they had to enter into the system for that drink and they made notes to correct it to what I wanted. When I got the drink, it was a milky green, so I was super confused. I asked again, this has no milk and added sweetness, and they said yes. At that point I felt annoying, so I just left with the drink. Unfortunately it did taste milky / creamy so I didn't finish it. The toppings were good tho. It was unfortunately since I really wanted a matcha. I just don't like milk or cream in my teas or coffees. For the milk teas and drinks like that, I'm sure this spot is probably great. I know my request is rather odd for a boba tea spot, so maybe they misunderstood that I just wanted a matcha tea with toppings. I did tip them a dollar on top since they were really nice. But I just wish I got what I ordered. REVIEW #3885

When I walked in, there were two kiosks available for ordering, and my drink was made pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The wait time was short. I ordered the Peach Oolong Lemon Tea with water chestnut popping balls and crystal boba. The drink itself was tasty & refreshing, flavorful, and not overly thick. Next time I'd probably order it at 50% sweetness. I've learned that I personally prefer tapioca pearls, but I still enjoyed what I ordered overall. What threw me off a bit was the customer service experience. Before I ordered, I noticed the staff being very warm, chatty, and engaged with several other customers. Because of that, my interaction stood out compared to mine. I wasn't greeted when I came in, and when I picked up my drink, I mentioned that I was new to boba and asked what I should order next time if I like the tapioca pearls best. The response was a quick & abrupt, "brown sugar balls," and the employee immediately walked away before I could ask anything else. Maybe it was just an off moment or maybe I'm overthinking it, but I did leave feeling a little unwelcome. Since I saw the kind of friendly conversation and guidance being given to other customers, I honestly thought I could ask a simple question too. That said, the drink was genuinely good, so I'd probably give the shop one more try and see if the experience feels different next time. Overall, the drinks were solid, but the customer service could've been warmer.

My daughter and her friends always head straight for the traditional seating area with the pillows on the floor, though there are plenty of regular tables if you prefer the standard setup. On the menu, the Beef Banh Mi is a standout. It's easily the best you'll find in this part of town without making the trek out to the Eden Center. The meat is juicy, the roll is excellent, and they offer it with or without an egg. The secret stars of the menu, however, are the basil fries. They are excellent and come with a fantastic house-made dipping sauce that pulls it all together. While my daughter is the boba fan of the duo, I stick to the coffee and smoothies. Just be cautious with the Vietnamese coffee--if you aren't a seasoned veteran, that caffeine kick will have your heart racing for hours. The staff is consistently fast, friendly, and efficient.
