I'm now satisfied that my prior issues with Four Sisters have been addressed, and it's back to being a good option for affordable, delicious food. After my last review, I refused to eat here for a solid year. But, the food was always good, my wife /really/ liked their pork banh mi, and the third or fourth time I heard her remark to someone that she liked Four Sisters but that we couldn't go because I refused, I considered the "Happy wife, happy life" aphorism and told her that if she wanted me to, I'd give them another chance. The next time I went there went well, and I've been back a couple of times since. A woman who is an owner (I think) or trusted and empowered manager is now regularly there and keeping the service pretty good. They faltered for awhile, but they've done the work to correct it. Their food, service, and value are all back to good, and I will be back and can once again wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

The food is fresh and delicious! In some way it's a " fast food " high end restaurant because you can order at the counter receive a lighted beeper and in a few minutes you have a delicious meal. I ordered the fresh cooked on the grill chicken, rice noodles, cucumbers, carrots, fresh herbs, and bean sprouts, served with crushed peanuts. Note: pay attention when you pay at the counter when the screen asks if you want to leave a tip it's already set at 18 percent or perhaps my cashier decided to do that herself.... Quick shout out to the Four Sister's Grill. We ordered takeout for lunch: two Banh Mi Ga Nng, and two orders of Pho Ga. Enjoyed the Pho as well as the garnishes; our order did specify no onions on one of the Pho orders, but both came with plenty of onions. I split the Banh Mi with my wife. Both orders featured fresh ingredients and were well prepared. I can't comment on the ambience, but the restaurant had ample seating and a large lighted, pictorial menu directly above the counter. I have been here twice now. Both times, I've had a pretty decent experience. I absolutely love their spring rolls. The spring rolls and fish sauce are so delicious. They are perfectly cooked. I love a good traditional Vietnamese spring roll and this is definitely it. They have Thai tea here, too. It will get you by, but it's not the highest quality Thai tea you'll ever have. I have also ordered the lemongrass chicken from here two times. It's pretty good, but it's nothing that will blow you out of the water. It is not served with a fried egg like it is in some places, which I do miss. However, the portion size is fine. Today, for an order of spring rolls, which included two rolls, a lemongrass, chicken plate, and a Thai tea, I paid about $30. Was it worth it? I'm not completely sold on that price tag, but I do know the price of everything is going up. Overall, I think this place is pretty good overall. It is not my favorite Vietnamese place and I don't care for their Thai tea, but it definitely gets the job done and the food is still good. read more

We got banh mi catering from Four Sisters Grill this past weekend. I got to try both grilled pork and grilled beef banh mis. The baguette was a bit stale, but I still ate it without too many concerns. I liked the tart and sweetness of pickled radish and carrots, and there was a perfect amount of it, too. I enjoyed the grilled pork, but I thought the grilled beef was way too sweet, which took away from the whole sandwich. If I order a banh mi here in the future, I'd definitely get the grilled pork again since it was a balanced sandwich with good flavors. However, each banh mi is about $11-12 (depending on which meat you get), which is much more expensive than other banh mi shops. read more

It has been several years since coming but this time seemed different. The service was great with Alfredo being so kind in bringing out all our food in a timely manner. His attitude was so generous and he enjoyed to be serving. The restaurant is kept clean and the bathrooms are well maintained. We ordered Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli, Steak Pho, and two (2) orders of Crispy Pork Spring Rolls. The broth of the Pho was crisp and very hot. The oil levels in the broth were light and the amount of meat was plentiful. The Vermicelli had lots of flavor with the Grilled Beef, Daikon, and Cucumbers. The best Crispy Spring Rolls with Romaine Lettuce and Basil to wrap in an enjoy. The Spring Rolls were large and juicy/tender with lots of Pork. We will be back on empty stomachs to eat a lot! So far, I tried the following: - Bun Thịt Nuong (Vermicelli with Grilled Pork) - AMAZING!! Everything was so tasty and refreshing. I sort of go buckwild whenever I go here, because it's the only solid Vietnamese spot within walking distance of the building I stay at. I usually order an entree and an appetizer. Last time I had a bbq pork banh mi and the crispy imperial rolls. The pork was tender, the sandwich was hearty, and the rolls crispy and well-seasoned. My only complaint is that the rolls should come with more lettuce, mint, and basil. Service is always quick and well done. It's not a high-end spot; I appreciate that I can come here after a workout in my gym clothes and not feel judged. read more

One of my new favorite spots in Arlington! Not sure how I went over a year without knowing this existed. I love lemongrass chicken and pork, and have had both from Four Sisters Grill and both were some of the best Vietnamese food I've had. The meat is so tender and the quantity is pretty good for the value. My only complaint is they don't have many options for combos -- i.e. "lemongrass chicken and shrimp." You can only add "extra" which costs $5-6. I added "extra shrimp" one time and the few pieces of shrimp weren't really worth the huge upcharge. Okay I absolutely adore this Vietnamese eatery. Not only are there a ton of options, but it's kind of cafe style where you order and then seat yourself. I like it for a casual place to eat with friends. The bahn mi is to die for. It's my absolute favorite place to get bahn mi with tofu! If you have food allergies, FYI. Four Sisters has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. We order here often, but today I landed in the ER shortly after eating their food. I was in anaphylaxis after eating a peanut in food from an order that clearly said "Without Peanuts" (their selection option) and "Peanut Allergy." We walked in and the price for two summer rolls stunned me: $6.50... We thought to get something more filling and decided to sit in rather than do take out. We ordered a grilled pork noodle bowl for $13 and tipped to bring it up to $15. It was a nice day and we decided to sit outside. WHY I LIKED IT: - food tasted pretty fresh, definitely tasted the nuances of Vietnamese food- fresh off the grill, lemongrass, veggies had a nice crunch WHY I DIDN'T LIKE IT: -CLEANLINESS The tables outside were not wiped down, and after we wiped down the table (on our own...), we noticed trash on the ground as we were sitting at our spot, one being a spring roll that was attracting ants -SINGLE USE PLASTIC There is absolutely no need to use single use plastic when customers dine in -SIZE Because they used single use plastic it was a small serving for what we paid for -STOMACH Not sure what went wrong here, but right after I ate here, the food did not sit well in my stomach that I had to take a sick day the next day. Came here the other day to grab some quick takeout and the food was great! The prices are around $10-15 which is pretty typical for fast casual in the area. I got the lemongrass chicken with rice and it was really flavorful and filling. It took about 20 minutes after I called for the order to be completed. Keeping my review at 4 stars - but updating some info. Covid 19 updates: They do delivery through Door Dash currently. I believe they still have their full menu from what I remember it being. It was never an extensive menu, but it was full of staples. Pho selection is limited. But the banh mi are long, filled, and in charge. Bread is a little more... crumbly & hard than I would like, but the filling in the coldcut is very traditional which I like. Pickled veg, vietnamese meats, jalapenos, pate, etc. The lemongrass chicken was delicious. Super tender, well cooked, and VERY flavorful. The fried spring rolls were good, but were very greasy. So greasy that I took a paper towel to dab off some oil. Prices are right, portions are nice size, and I would certainly not mind ordering from there again. read more
