My go-to Pho spot! It's close to my house and very unassuming, in a small strip mall area. The owners are so kind and very sweet. They def have a following and regulars that come all time. I've never had a bad experience here. Make sure you go either before or after prime lunch hours otherwise you probably will be waiting since it's a smaller restaurant (though I love the smaller restaurants anyway. Much more intimate). We came here for our late lunch today and the guy in there was very friendly and nice! He made the whole experiences greater for sure! The food is very delicious, good portion and well made, all the noodle soup's broth we try was very flavorful and tasty, the wonton is great that we even want to purchase more to bring back but unfortunately they don't made that much. Definitely worth the money! They even have a special spicy sauce they made which smell really good and really spicy. If you love spicy, you can ask them for it! Ohhhh, I almost forgot! The ice coffee we got was nice too! We got one first and then we got more! Definitely not from package!!! Over all we really love this place!!! Such a hidden gem. I found this place by yelp, came with my husband to get a quick bite. We each had a bowl of pho, I ordered it with tendon, the most tender tendon I ever had. The soup base was so delicious without any MSG, I finished every single drop. The next day, I brought my group of eleven to have lunch before heading back to NY. With a big group, I get to try more dishes. We ordered their special spring roll, fried tofu and shrimp spring roll for appetizers,all so very tasty! For entrees, we each order our own bowl of Pho. The Pho had a choice of many different protein options all at one price of 8.95. The Pho broth was just enough sweet, buttery and delicious. The dinning area isn't very spacious. Now for the middle age man who works there. He was rude, lack in respect and ill mannered. Highly offensive! As my mother and I finished our meal and proceeded to pay. Just as we was about to leave, my mom forgot her coat. He made a comment that was highly unprofessional and uncalled for. This place used to be my fav vietnamese place but not anymore ( i think they changed the owner). I work close by so i order here very often and same order everytime. I asked them for sunny side up and it's always came out well done. Last time i was there the owner have a party with his friend so he took my order wrong ( only 1 order), no fork no spoon, no water, no napkin. Only thing he care about is partying. We have only tried this restaurant for delivery so far, so I can only speak as to the food. Which was very good. Traditional Vietnamese and Thai food done well - fresh and flavorful. The level of spice was just perfect for my taste. The delivery driver was very pleasant despite being sent to the wrong town at first. The person taking the order was thorough and careful to get the order right. I appreciated his care, as so often large take out orders are filled wrong. The food was well packaged with everything we needed included. I can give this restaurant my recommendation. I settled on the wonton egg noodle soup as I was craving a warm and cozy dumpling laden soup on this cold and rainy south Jersey day. It was PERFECTION. The dumplings were obviously homemade and the super fresh ingredients and vietnamese authentic flavor was everything I was looking for from my lunch today. We wound up go to Wawa for a taco salad. Ironically the guy behind the counter said, "Thanks for being patient." Sorry to say we were not impressed with the two soups that we sampled. My Pho with flank steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef ball did not have the complex taste that I am accustomed to from some of the other local Vietnamese restaurants. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is very clean but as far as the food this left me somewhat disappointed. My dining partners selection of S3 on the menu, was a specialty soup; spicy beef "bun bo hue "round noodles with sliced beef, pork cake and lemongrass had a darker broth that looked quite spicy but in fact was very bland. This unfortunate dining experience was a big surprise to my fellow diner who mentioned that in past visits he had some very good food. Maybe it was an off day. read more

Coming from Texas, I don't expect much for good authentic Vietnamese food in Jersey but this was hand down one of the worst Viet food I have eaten. I got the shrimp and crab noodle (bun rieu) and it was no where near good nor authentic. The paste was more like minced meatball instead of the authentic crab paste. The broth got none of that bun rieu flavor. It was just cooked chicken broth heated up and out in a bowl. I guess the only authentic part is the rice noodle. Oh and don't ever get their smoothie!!!! I got avocado smoothie and I barely tasted any avocado! It was pure flavor powder and they even skimped out on the flavor powder and so I couldn't even even tasted any powder flavor. It was just crushed ice with water. I even paid $1 to add bubbles and it was old hard bubbles so I wondered how many days that sat out. A waste of $5 for crushed ice. I highly doubt the quality of the food here in term of the high price you pay for. If you're going to charge your customers high prices, please at least put some effort into the food quality. read more

Ok, we're sitting on the beach in Ocean City, NJ and we need to eat non-junky food and one is vegetarian and 2 of us love pho. Yelp saved us by recommending this place (thanks Yelp!). The food was wonderful. The people were very friendly. It's a small several-table place in a shopping center, but so so so worth it. One daughter had pho with beef, the other had pho with vegetables and tofu, and I had a vegetable and tofu noodle dish. All was great. The servings were so large that we made 2 meals out of each one.
