I'm not sure if the man helping us was the owner or the manager, but you don't see that often. I love seeing someone in a higher position stepping in and helping out with customers. I honestly think that made the experience even better. And the food was definitely worth it! The pizza was amazing. We got a pizza, mild buffalo wings, and Bufalina coal-fired pizza, along with refillable drinks (seltzer and lemonade). The total was around $60, and I left a $20 tip. So in total $80-$90. The wings were nice and crunchy, which I really LOVE, and everything we ordered was delicious. I really enjoyed the whole experience! Btw there parking around the restaurant. Very good supreme pie, not top 5 but definitely a better choice than any other around here that I know of so far, and my buddy got the chicken parm with pasta and side salad which was even better. One of the best Sicilian grandma pies I've ever had! The pizza and the sauce have great flavor, however, it's best if you order a pie fresh. You can buy individual slices there and they have a wide variety of pizzas, but ordering a fresh pie is a game changer. They have good pasta dishes. They'll have a specials menu with different items occasionally. The inside of the restaurant isn't that big, however, they sometimes have some chairs available outside when it's nice weather so can grab a quick bite and enjoy it outside. This place is the best Italian near (ish) the Jersey Shore! It is a small, unassuming place on the intersection of two roads (so the small outside patio is sort of noisy). The food is amazing. Featured on DDD. Pretty large selection of pizzas and pastas, as well as appetizers and a couple of desserts. It's definitely popular. It's a small restaurant, so if you're not getting food to go, expect to wait a few for a seat during busy hours. Went with the stuffed gnocchi in pesto sauce and it was exceptionally good. A local pizza joint has no business making pasta as good as this. I was blown away to be honest. Good pizza, but pricy. Trekking around NJ, happened to find a pizza joint that was rated really well. So we made the trip here to try them out. The place was packed, tons of people waiting for orders and tables. It looks like this place was featured on food network and they were getting hugged hard by the community. We ordered a selection of slices to go. Despite the busy nature of the location, it was relatively quick to get our slices. We drove to a parking lot and dug in. As a pizza, I really enjoyed the sauce and crust. The crust was thinner but still had a good rigid bottom. Able to handle the large amount of toppings on each slice. The flavors of the toppings were great, with a special call out to the caprese salad pizza slice. The tomatoes were seasoned, the balsamic drizzle had that sweet acid pop, onions gave it the savory crunch, and the burrata cheese was creamy and smooth. The biggest issue was the price. They are riding high on their fame and charge accordingly. The 4 slices here came out to about 26 bucks. Pizza by the slice is a little more expensive, and they are fairly big slices, but it's pricy for what you get. Never the less, it's a good pizza and incredibly popular.
